As parents n caregivers today we must give our children OUR gifts of language n living qualities n Religion until they are old enough n have enough experience to investigate others n judge for themselves what paths they want to follow without being judged about their choices when they have been equipped by us to discern them for themselves. Happy Father's day Father Dave and all the fathers! Great homily as usual! Love the dad jokes. I have a silly riddle for you. I was in church this morning and saw a ginormous roach in mass. Luckily it was towards the end of mass because it was a little distracting. Like it was huge! Anyway I thought it's Father's day, there's a giant roach, and I'm in mass. Maybe God wants me to pray for my favorite band. Who is my favorite band? I'm expecting you to guess right because I know you like awesome music. Anyway if you read all of that thank you lol. Hmmmm tempting to say 'Beetles' for the bug reference but cockroaches aren't beetles. There was an Aussie band named The Cockroaches (in the 70's?) BUT since this riddle comes on Father's Day I'll say: Papa Roach
