Before Bruno Mars was famous, I played Poker with him regularly at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA.
Oh wow! I didn't know he frequented the card clubs in LA. I always went to the Indian casinos in the IE and San Diego. Never been to Commerce or the Hustler out in Gardena.

The MGM came out and said that to save Bruno Mars the embarrassment. News Nation didn't make up a story out of thin air. There's obviously some validity if they published it. Also, the MGM is going to do anything to keep Bruno happy, after all, hes spending all of his money from the MGM deal back at the MGM. They essentially have a slave working for free.

The concern more than anything is that Bruno seems to not be bothered by the large debt. I mean sure, he could pay it off quicker than regular Americans can pay off much smaller debts but the fact that the man has no problem with giving away that much money is a concern. He’s an addict. Telling him to just stay out of the casino is like telling a drug addict to just say no. That didn’t work when Nancy Reagan said it, it’s not gonna work now. He needs rehab for his addiction but he probably can’t take time off to go to rehab since he has to work to pay off his debt in a casino where he’s addicted to gambling. He’s caught in a vicious cycle, that’s why he’s been there so long. Clearly MGM doesn’t care about his health, they just want their money. Sad!
