I love your journals cause they are so colorful and u have so much variety going throughout the journals. I went to a thrift store and saw 3 small poem books the size of your palm with writing in the margins from the 1860’s. I didn’t have cash that day and when I went back to get them they had sold them. 😞 I was so sad because that would have been a great add to a vintage journal. Or to just read and have. It was three small books or four for $20 dollars 😞

These are stunning, so bummed I missed the sale. I adore the mini silverware charms. I got some to decorate the cover of a recipe book I'm making. I have some old recipes from my grandmother, and I am going to attach them in as decoration. I love her handwriting, and it makes me happy to see these little reminders of her. I don't want to use them as I would a normal recipe card because if I spilled something and lost it, I'd be very upset. I need to get my mom to write out some of her recipes too so I can add them in the same manner. I like vintagey written things like that, but I tend to stick with items having to do with people or places from my past, or by the people I love. I once bought a digital vintage paper set that had some writing in it, but it was from a horrible story and had bad passages quite legible, so I never ended up using it and deleted the file. It wasn't legible on the thumbnail, or I'd have never gotten it. I have bought some digi vintage seed packets to add as well, glad to see its a loved thing to do.
