    Idk if it's fake or not but just saying, this creature is flying through sawgrass swamps. A man in a suit would be weighed down from the water, and exhausted from humidity. Not to mention this thing is well above the grass line

      I have an unbelievably small penis, but Never seen a bear run like that, plus it doesn’t have the roundness of a bear nor the head of one so I’m gonna say it’s either some dude in a gorilla suit, which is far more likely or its a legit sighting of a skunk ape

    First off it was 20 years ago. Phone cams sucked, 2nd, how many of you leaving comments live in fl or have walked through our saw grass swamps?? 3rd. How many of you could walk that fast through it if you ever had?.. at one point it looks to be gliding through it. . I live here born and raised. And it ain't no easy task to walk through it as this thing is so effortlessly. Humans would have to stop and rest, and look for hidden dangers as we walk.

      Seems like few people have noticed that gliding motion. To me, that's the KEY to this footage being so incredible, as many witnesses have testified to these creatures sometimes walking with a movement not unlike cross country skiers. Very unusual. There's at least 2 spots in this footage where the thing DEFINITELY glides for a moment. I downloaded the video and slowed it down in Adobe Premiere and there are definitely some frames where the creature is totally just gliding in place...so weird...must be it's joints and the way it's toes work or something that allow it to move like this.

Can you imagine how ridiculed you’ll be if you admit to believing in a creature that is mainly nocturnal, that keeps to itself and lives in the forest. Nawww man. Everything lives in the big city. @@whysoserious2869 Impossible for a human being to move that quickly, firstly. Second, the size comparison of the human was smaller.
      I'm from Florida & this was in local news (the original videos of skunk ape). Don't recall who tested it, whether news or other locals, but it was conclusive that what is shown cannot just be a man in an ape suit. By far the biggest thing they determined was how even for a very large, tall, & powerful man just walking through that glade (Florida Everglades swamp grass) was overly difficult. You've got 12-18 inches of water, muck instead of solid ground, sharp thick grass, 90° heat with 95% humidity, & physical exertion of an Olympic athlete - impossible for a man, even in physical condition.
      I've walked those swamps, not exactly there but the same grasslands & glade types. It's exhausting after 30 seconds. First, you've gotta wear waders which makes movement more difficult (and this video was 30 years ago, so materials were much heavier). Next, every step is like picking your foot up out of wet cement or thick mud. Third, just go walk around in water that's knee high or higher, you'll understand.

      Completely agree. I think this is some of the best footage I've ever seen. I know it's easy to write if off at first for some, but if you really think about it, the way you put it, it's just as unbelievable that a man in a suit could pull maneuvering a swamp like that, and this is not a CGI video. It's either a man in a suit or a man-looking creature. Given that a man would struggle to make movements like that (especially some of those GLIDES...WTF kind of movement is that?! I've NEVER seen anything move like that), and it fits the description of many eyewitness testimonies who say that the sasquatch sometimes move like cross country skiers. when I see this video, I now know completely what people are talking about when they say how these creatures can all of the sudden move really fast. Some people have speculated they have feet and leg joints that allow them to move faster than us. Whatever it is, I think this video is the real deal.

As a deer hunter, we dont go out in the middle of a hot ass afternoon in July. Why? Because deer feel the heat too. Also a bucks antlers don't reach full growth until September. So either he doesn't have a clue about hunting and saw a skunk ape, or he found a reason to place himself there to film a suited man.

It causes no harm to divulge this. he is running a business and not one out of a thousand tourists per day would have any idea or care about the truth---just another roadside tourist trap.

    • @EebstertheGreat
      @EebstertheGreat 5 років тому

      You're mixing up a couple different things. In 1998, Dave Shealy took photos (which most people believe to be part of the same hoax) and gave them to archaeologist Bob Carr to investigate. Carr claims the photos do not match the posture or movement of a human, though since they are still shots, it's not clear how he could make that determination. More to the point, it's not at all clear why anyone would think an archaeologist would be an expert on human posture and gait.
      The hair samples you are referencing are probably the ones allegedly of Bigfoot sent to the FBI, which turned out to be deer hair. But it could be anything, because people have been sending samples of alleged bigfoot hair to labs for decades. None of them show anything convincing, but it's possible some of them failed to be identified, since hair identification doesn't always succeed.

      Not likely a cleared path. Look how he sways side to side slogging thru the muck as he walks. A man on a pre-cleared path would not be able to keep up a high speed fake walk like that. Sometimes it is the simplest solution. This man was out for a walk and a skunk-ape walked right by him. Isn’t the first time! And obviously, like many tribal peoples believe these are NOT apes! They are hairy people/ forest people. Just like we men have every possible combination of tall/short skinny/fat lanky pudgy etc. people have seen these wearing clothing! Baseball hats! So not all of these forest people are shaped like the rock. This dude looks more like a ‘regular guy’ bigfoot. No bigger than 7 foot? Just sayin’. There has been dna evidence! At the start of the video the posture and swagger seem a bit off to be an ape type humanoid. But after the trees when it starts to run that seems a lot more feasible. I would imagine, much the same as other large ape species, the upper body strength and muscle mass is greater than humans and would cause a far reaching swing of the arms for momentum. Another thing that seems plausible is the speeding up upon sensing a human around. Many audio recordings of “Bigfoot” are the same even though the people are entirely unrelated. These calls cannot be faked by humans as the bones in the throats of certain apes like the howler monkey make it impossible for a human to imitate. The calls are very much a warning signal to others of their species that there is danger (humans) close by. The call types are not excitement (of a food source/prey etc) nor mating calls. This clearly demonstrates they are very afraid of humans. There are no reliable stories of people being attacked by these creatures. So the speeding up to a “trot” at the second half of the video makes sense. Pity there isn’t sound as I’d bet he’d be calling out a warning to the others

    • @randallridnour8954
      @randallridnour8954 8 років тому +2

      Lynn Chandler I guess if the water there is knee deep it would be hard going from point A to B. I think what concerns me most about this footage is the fact that it stays out in the open ostensibly the whole way and not once seems to be perturbed by the camera person. It was shot a long time ago, perhaps there were fewer people out there for them to be concerned about back then and therefore it wasn't that worried. I have sent Mr Thunker loads of footage he hasn't seen before or at least hasn't showed up in the list of analysed footage, but I suppose he must have to be selective about which ones he reviews otherwise he may get snowed under with work. He has never analysed one of the Vids I have sent him to date even though at the time he stated that they were interesting (obviously not interesting enough). I stopped sending him Vids about 12 months ago. I am a trained biologist.

    • @randallridnour8954
      @randallridnour8954 8 років тому +3

      Lynn Chandler Well, you seeing them first hand is a completely different matter. I am not for a moment saying they don't exist. I feel there is enough anecdotal evidence collected now that those trying to refute their presence would struggle to do so as they would have tear down every piece of evidence presented and say where it came from if wasn't from those big hairy people. If people have seen them, had life altering experiences caused by that experience, I am more-or-less prepared to accept their testimony at face value. However if someone gives me a video to look at as evidence, I am generally more circumspect. I also feel rightly or wrongly that many people no matter how well intentioned are deluded (present company excluded) or at least so hung up on the facts as they see them that they have developed a mental illness that colours their outlook. Dan Shirley, Morrigans 10, Scott Carpenter, the Squatchmaster, Birdman 649 and reality ghost, just to name a few. It seems as though their is a lot of emotion invested in their beliefs about the hairy people and much of what they claim to see is wishful thinking I feel. Yes Biologist or no, people are restricted by their experiences, ideas and psychology. I was born in '59 so I am no spring chicken but more of a spring chicken than some I guess.

The creature looks like it is circling the videographer to scare him off its patch. There could well be a family of Skunk Ape hidden in the treeline that it is trying to protect. My guess is that the Skunk Ape figured that its life was not at risk from the videographer, who may have been alone and unarmed. 2013-2020. I know there is a family of Skunk Apes living and hunting in NE Collier County, Florida. The state of Florida began restoring the Everglades (dry land to wetland). As a result the dry land animals moved north into the Big Cypress. Hunters and predators moved north with them. Skunk Apes (bigfoots) are here in Naples.

      The costumed characters at Disney world do 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off in AC because it gets hot in those suits!
      If someone was in a AC vehicle and went straight to walking for video, they would have been fine even in July for the time of this video! They'd be sweaty walking through sawgrass muck and need to get out of suit and into AC again after.
      There's definitely something I've seen something way too big to be a man walking in the woods up north and have smelled skunk ape in Florida.
      Florida woods are so thick you can be less than 30' from someone and not see them! A guy died in the woods behind my house and there were 30 deputies with, horses, quads, helicopters and drones and he wasn't found until the 8th day when vultures found his body! He died on day 3 in June from not having water!
      I searched the woods for the first 3 days since I know them well and saw no signs of him! He ended up being 200 yds behind my house. I even went out and yelled for him at night since I thought he'd have a better chance of hearing at night!
      There's a reason the Seminoles are an unconquered tribe, even the US Army couldn't find them in the FLA terrain!
      Something that doesn't want to be seen in Florida has a very good chance of surviving without being seen!

    That could possibly be a bear, but my gut instinct tells me it’s not a bear. Bears can actually walk a considerable distance on two feet, and at a fairly fast pace. However, I’ve seen bears walk on two feet before, and bears don’t really move like that. That moves much more like an ape. One thing I know for certain. That’s not a man! There’s no man that moves like that through razor sharp sawgrass and mucky soil.

Has no one considered the possibility that a path was created through the grass, for a guy in a suit, before the video was made? The wet, marshy soil could have easily been covered by laying down some narrow strips of plywood. If that was done, the guy in the suit could easily walk or run. By the way, people with an advanced case of Parkinson's disease should never attempt to shoot video during an earthquake - unless you don't really want others to examine your footage! Lots of assumptions being made about the ground condition where this supposed creature is passing through, which we can't see to confirm. I used to live in FL for a year. Just because it looks like it's in the middle of a swamp doesn't mean that it all is. You can find places with harder grounds or a path that's easier to walk. If a video like this is what it takes to prove a mythical creature, even a middle schooler can make a new discovery.

      @@peppersander2457 if you do a little history reading they are in there. There was a mine that was closed in the Mother Load region of California because of them. It seems one miner shot and killed one. Then the rest of the creatures took it away . Then attacked the mines cook house with everyone inside during lunch! They threw big rocks at the building for a good 20 minutes. And the roof started to give way. Some of the rocks were 20 pounds being thrown from in the Bush nearby. After that the mine closed. If you talk with the Paiute Indians on the back side of the Sierras just south of Tahoe they will tell you they have an agree with them. They stay out of each other's territory. And thus keep the peace. Northern California has the town of Bigfoot and it too is an Indian area. The town of Weed the folks around there see them all the time. Sightings get printed in the paper all the time. But try to order the paper. Try to get it on line.... it aint going to happen! They keep that info under tight control. I remember the marines in Vietnam some who were securing an outpost. They would come under attack by what they called "Rock apes" they were what is depicted all across Asia in their temples as ape like men with tails! I have been there and seen these huge murals that cover temple corridor walls depicting wars with men against the "ape men with tails" there has to be some truth to it. Even China when they got wind of this sighting sent a bunch of researchers to investigate the matters! Kind of like dragons. There are no more dragon sightings that i know of. But if you look at older Chinese pictures and history their kings had "dragon trainers" and these dragons were not small! I heard from a man in the mountains of Afghanistan that said his grandfather said these dragons live in the mountains and several people around his time had seen them. Living in caves and in the rocky areas. Africa is another place that harbors things we think are in the past. Russia also harbors mammoths. That is why Much of Siberia was closed for many many many years. When i was in Alaska people would regularly find tusks laying on the ground! Yes we have all been lied to for a long long time by the powers that be. Who only allow us to know what they want us to know. Like where did all the GIANTS (bones ) go? Lovelock Nevada had many many red haired giants unearthed. After a short while we heard no more about it and nobody knows where the government hid their bones! We hear this a lot from around the world governments trying to hide their existence. A couple years ago ALL museums closed for renovations and when they opened there were no more skulls of Giants. Not in any of them. Hmmmm very strange. Even Peru had a huge museum with rooms filled with their skulls of various shapes and sizes. They are no longer there and nobody seems to know where they went.

After 10 minutes, I finally saw it. It was similar to one of those blotch pictures where you have to look past it to see the hidden design. The creature was diabolical looking more menacing than anything you can imagine. I didn't believe in that world until then. This Indian told me it was supernatural and now I know he's right. Excluding hoaxes, which I believe this video is - I have to agree that bigfoot/skunk-apes are spirit beings - demonic manifestations. This is why they can appear to a group of hikers, run behind a group of trees and disappear, only to reappear on the side of a hill 1/2 mile away in mere seconds. When people come in contact with them, they're usually terrified or become very emotional. No lost species of ape would cause that kind of reaction.
