The band sounds tight! I wonder what happened on King’s end towards the end of the song? I noticed he walked over to Mike and said something to him like something was wrong. I know King doesn’t like using in ear monitors so he relies on hearing certain parts of the music to know where to sing.
This also happened the next day in Houston. Let's watch the third show and see what happens. I'm guessing when he is at the top of the stage he can't hear the band as well.
Where are you finding this info at? I'm trying to find the setlist as I'm going to the show on the 26 hopefully he gets into a groove by then. It always seems to take especially older artists a few shows to find their stride, noticed that with Rob Halford on Priests 50th anniversary tour.

Drove straight home after the show last night. I went to bed at 5am and then was up by 7am for work. So worth it.

I think you might be spot on. It looks like he's saying he can't hear the solo so he might've just lost his place.
