You absolutely do NOT touch that beauty of a vintage shirt. If you feel like you can't wear it without fixing it, then stop wearing it. I know someone who takes shirts that can't be worn (for whatever reason, like ripping or sentimental reasons) and the owner can't bear to throw them away and has them sent to her so they can be made into a quilt for that person. I make stuffed animals out of them. There's still a LONG life left in that shirt, lovely.

The junk jacket is really a fun project. It's nice that people can just send a small trinket. No cost and the postage is very inexpensive especially this time of year. Something that I really miss though is the viewer mail. I'm sure you must still get enormous amounts especially with being on tiktok. I would love to see a monthly viewer mail opening those were so much fun especially the craft projects that you were sent by Young Ones. Even if you opened it on your own and selected a few special ones to show us would be great.

I’m kinda late but! In case no one has mentioned yet- this little doll is a bit different from a BJD. Ball Jointed Doll is kind of a umbrella term that a lot of people use to describe dolls with a lot of articulation but BJD actually refers to the resin dolls that are strung and have ball joint sockets. This girl would be an MJD or Mechanical Jointed Doll, they have hinge type joints and sometimes, like with Smart Dolls, an internal skeleton. I prefer BJDs myself but this one is a cutie!💖

I think you've got to cut the sleeves off Bunny. If you sew it, the stitched area will be stronger than the surrounding fabric. The shirt is old, so the fabric around the stitched area will then tear. Plus, you have beautiful arms, so it's a win win!

As some who collects BJDs pretty avidly I don't think this is really a bjd but more an MJD ( Mechanical Jointed doll. aka it uses a sort of internal snap together system versus most bjd are actually strung together with elastics. Also bjds are typically resin whether or not thats cast or 3d printed. Mjds are usually plastic or vinyl. For a good starter bjd check out like bobobie or resinsoul. here in the US Denver doll emporium works as a carrier for range of bjd companies. Bjds are typically a $100+ though it it us possible to find some cheaper ones if your willing to research. Also bjds have alot of problems with recasts ( aka counterfits) it can take alot of research to get into them safely. On the other hand MJDs can some times be cheaper knock offs of bjds, alot of them are just more jointed versions of children's dolls like made to move barbies though there are some companies that make more bjd styled mjds such as tinyfox or vindoll which are both vinyl mjd companies run by bjd companies
I think in ye ole Bunny fashion you should add safety pins to the sting t shirt, not MANY that way you don’t stab your arm pit, but a little stitching and some safety pins 😘🤌🏻 Chefs Kiss 👨🏻🍳

I think you should just leave the shirt as is, make it unique and one of a kind just like you AND I can’t really tell but to add to your unique style you should cut Sting’s eyes out and either leave open or adhere a zany pattern material on the inside to give his eyes a little more POP🤘🏻
Don’t know what the other comments say but I did some research and I found this is an Ali express item and I could not find it at all on Amazon. So you’ll have to link it if it exists on Amazon still or maybe Ali express is the best place to buy it? It’s $20.98 for the doll in the pink pants and white shirt pajamas no shoes and same price for a mystery clothing box. You can choose your doll or you can choose it as a mystery too. My kids might love these though
my huge complaint with barbie clothes--they are cute and very realistic and detailed now, but there are so many sewing strings in the sleeves of a jacket there's NO way to easily dress the barbie. The clothes are great, but did anyone even TRY to dress an actual barbie?!? Don't get me started
