This song is the definition of 'If you know, you know.' It's about ant death spirals, where tons of ants run around in a spiral until they die of exhaustion because of pheromone trails, hence the strange story of death the song tells.
This song has changed my life. I'm listening to it for the first time today and the lyrics literally made me break into tears. I've definitely found a new favorite.
this is one of my favorite songs, the instrumental is amazing and my favorite part is by the end beginning with the "over-over-over-ooo" and especially "before we knew it we became a hurricane"
This is by far one of my all time favourite songs ever. It’s such a journey and the emotions that I feel while listening to this are unmatched. Truly a masterpiece.
The trumpet line at the end just perfectly catches the triumphant, unending, unresolving tragedy of the lyrics. An underrated masterpiece from LemondemoN
@@Evie_SG she thought it wouldn't be very talented for me to just sing along to a song and do nothing else. I ended up just getting up on stage and doing the prisiadki to 'Soldier of the Dance' for forty seconds.
hm bitti. şarkının adını aldığı olayı göz önünde bulundurunca daha karmaşık kaos dolu veya hatta belki korkunç bir şey bekliyordum ama sakin bir şarkıydı👍
ig the feeling of a banal end of the world is potentially as horrifying as a catastrophic apocalypse. it also works with the idea of ‘the spiral of ants’ all the ants work themselves to death following the pheromones in a circle into a mass grave which is inherently horrifying yet their complacency in their fate is all they can know. they are not distressed in their horrific end which is the scariest part for me. also the working self to death following the other around you can be (of fuckin’ course) an allegory for capitalism or following any pre-established system that’s destined for failure or just cults or just the occurring of real life spiral of ants which is an actual phenomenon

"You can't remember knowing, you are one ant" plays on loop inside my head at the most random of times.

was half asleep listening to this once and when it got to the "before we knew it we became a hurricane" it actually felt ETHEREAL
Ive heard this song a long time ago, but after learning i have OCD this song takes on an entirely new meaning. This will stay with me for a while.
Beautiful. No idea if this means anything more than ants following their programming in a doomed pattern, but it hits hard regardless
this is literally the sickest fan made lyric video I've ever seen. I got so hype when the spiral got wiggly

Sucha great song. One of Neil's songs that sounds like it had a deeper meaning then the literal lyrics.
