Can't help but feel like this song has elements of a rough upbringing.
There's lots of talk about having pictures and memories yet the singer (I assume is the child) talks about how in their pictures, in those memories, they're in the same frames as the one who tortured them. (I assume the parent)
They also talk about taking a birthday photo and the line indicates that they were told to or forced to make it look like the child was having fun "hold up a peace sign and smile"
Later on the lyrics become
"Don't take a picture of me
Don't tell me where I belong"
The song is absolutely beautiful I love it to bits how such a sweat song can hold such a dark message.

The soft tuning in this song really fits the feelings of this song perfectly.
(I’m honestly convinced MushiP can make any tuning work at this point.)
Though this song has themes of abuse i can’t help but feel relaxed by the soft feeling of the music.
The visuals are very simple but it fits perfectly with everything else and though it’s simple

My Japanese isn't great, but translating 「ぼくを _いじめた_ _あの子_ の隣」as "I'm next to the _person_ who _tortured_ me" gives off a more ambiguous and darker tone than "I'm next to the _kid_ who _bullied_ me", or something similar. Not sure if that was intended.

If I had to guess what it's about, I guess wanting to go back and save yourself from a bad situation? But also remembering the good times you had with people who ultimately hurt you, and wishing you hadn't had those good times so you could have left them behind more easily.

really really love the vibes of this one. its soft and upbeat, but the undertones of childhood trauma in the lyrics give the song a different feeling.
feels tired in a way. tired but not too exhausted to keep processing and keep working through what happened. i really like how your music can give off such specific feelings so well
This is one of my fav songs from Mushi-P! I remember a few years back I couldn’t listen to it without crying … the lyrics just connected with me that much. It felt like the only thing that understood me.. but now im stronger and generally happier now and I don’t cry as much but it still means a lot to me.. ^_^
8 months ago .. that’s a long time! This song still means a whole lot to me. I also realized that you’re called Muship instead of Mushi-P LOL? I’m still in the same frame as the person who tortured me , but things between us have been getting better . For most of that time, I’ve been able to find a lot of peace in this song.

そうなんですね。メロディとコードも不思議な響きで、歌詞やメロディ、リズムが先と聞いて少し納得です。
コードに縛られすぎないからこそムシぴさんだけの響きができるのだろうと思います。
ムシぴさんの曲は音楽的に何か一つが大きな骨になっていると言うよりは、一つ一つが重なり合ってかつ確かなバランスで出来ているような気がしていたので、粘土という例えはすごく腑に落ちました。
Twitterも拝見したのですが、素敵な感性を持った人だなぁと思いもっと興味が湧きました。
