    For typical isometric pixel art blocks, shading is performed with a color ramp filter on a standard BRDF. To get the edge highlight and shadow effects, the depth buffer is sampled for adjacent points, and the pixel is brightened or dimmed based on whether it is closer or further to the camera than its neighbors.

    Your work is super nice! I don't understand how you block the colors? Is there an underlying palette to which you project your screen color, or is it just some decimation on the color space? Thank you very much!

    would bo cool if these ran 12 frames a second 8 or even 6 frames a second? looks so kool

      The video describes how to do this. He's using complex shaders and techniques to achieve this effect. Kid is an absolute madlad.
