Even if you're not InTo GunPla, or even Gundam, I recommend CheckingOut how interesting the heads from SD models (SuperDeformed = Chibi) look on HG (HighGrade, referring to the scale and level of detail) models. It's jokingly refered to as a "Perfect Grade".

Just a reminder: weapons are supposed to be weak, its literally part of the story.
Ganondorf giving us a the Dusk Sword at a whooping +30 before fusing is probably the most overpowered thing I seen.

I actually find the Champions Amiibo's NOT being their old weapons a bit disappointing (especially for Revali. His bow would have presumably been useful in-game.)
there's in game ways to get them, so don't worry.
I got urbosas shield from mine. It seems the rewards are actually random and can change. So you just need to do them daily
i mean, Tulin is the one who owns Revali’s bow in this game.

I honestly find it so upsetting that Epona is an Amiibo instead of being something found or unlocked in the game. It would have been so great to do some side quest in the shadow of the Hero of Time and then you can find Epona during that quest or it is the reward at the end
I think it'd be hilarious if the guardian amiibo just happened to spawn in a whole ass Guardian...that would work for you instead of against you.
I enjoy how the mask of awakening says "the item makes one want to wear it but also not wear it"

In botw amiibo loot was determined of how far into the game you are (not sure if it was the amount of shrines or what) bit pretty much the loot was worse early game

I scanned the Zelda Amiibo until I got the Dawn bow which has 30 DMG and can shoot farther. I did this just right after getting the paraglider

For me, the food items will be the biggest help in the beginning. The other items I know will be great, but food and arrows in the beginning sound like they’re the most critical. Just waiting on Amazon to deliver my copy.
Arrows are so easy to find that it's almost a joke at this point.

Yeah, especially since im spending most of the shrine orbs on stamina.
If you are hunting for the amiibo gear, you can directly save the game, then use the amiibo, if you have no luck just reload and repeat until you get the gear item so you don't have to wait an entire day.
EDIT: It can take many tries or few (if you´re lucky). I was trying to get the twilight bow in BOTW and it took me at least 30 mins

Yeah, that was the reason I got the amiibo, so I could summon him.
I believe that they remove it bc for putting more heart in Link wolf healt, you have to do the amiibo dungeon in twilight princess hd for wiiu, and bc the wiiu as low sales, the eshop is closed and the remaining copies physical are over prized bc are rare, so yeah, I believ is that, but is a sad thing that there isnt more Wolf Link ywy

Seems they're all back, got trousers of time and there is one that stands out to me
They apparently (definitely the goofy awaking one) are all not amibo locked
Fierce deity is locked behind a quest, havent done the quest yet but a npc told me about the "fierce deity set" and where to find it
@@simodelfario4739 No, you can still get the Fierce Deity set from the Amiibo. It's not just locked behind a quest. I've gotten 2 of the pieces already.

The fact that Smash 4 amiibos can still be used in modern games is amazing to me
When I was playing the new Zelda tears ofk, I found something shocking! You know those big skeleton looking heads everywhere in Hyrule. On my way to soars domain I found a hole under a big head! And there I saw more bone under it that looked like a rib cage. When I went deeper down I found something that looked like a Pelvis. Maybe this is proof that Hyrule used to have giants?
The pixel link will actually give you a fabric for the glider. Its one of the things you can get.
Every Amiibo gives you a glider, or at least, the majority do.

You can also get a Mirror of Twilight fabric for the paraglider from the Wolf Link ambiio

You can do it as many times as you want just turn ofr your calendar in the switchs menu and move it one day. It takes time but eventually itll work

@@b.a.dstudios3428 There is a guaranteed unique drop every five attempts if I remember correctly, so if you save before the guaranteed attempt you can keep reloading for the unique item that you want

Luckily for me I only have one amiibo and it happens to be the one that gives me Epona. Super helpful and also iconic. I'm going to hunt down some more amiibos in the future

You can change the date in your settings. Then, you can use amiibos multiple times in a day.
Already had Epona registered in the stable in BoTW and now in ToTK i got a second Epona registered in the stable

Hopefully helpful fact, if you change the date, so May 12 2014 to May 13 2014 on your switch and then reload the game; it'll allow the ambio to be used again, it cant be a date beyond our current one though, if memory serves right.
This way you can grind amibo all day if you're keen to.
Game must be restarted each time... I think, memories a little foggy on it.
Such a letdown for the majority of these.
Pretty much just a Sheik Mask, an Awakening Link Mask, TP Ganondorf's Sword and Epona, that's it. Everything else I'm pretty sure is stuff you can get in-game.
Something that must be mentioned is that the young link AMIIBO in Smash in BOTW did not give you any clothing but in TOTK if they give you specifically that of the Hero of Time

I got a demon king glider fabric and sheik glider fabric from their respective amiibo
They should have kept making wolf link your companion for the amiibo

FYI you can turn the day forward in the switch settings to get around the one per day limit. I have like 600 pieces of steak now

Is the chest always random? I got a preowned Link’s Awakening amiibo and all that comes from the chest is a soldiers broadsword, though I have only tried it 3 times, once on my account, another on my sisters account, and third time on my sisters account again. I am hoping for the paraglider, unless there is a specific way to just get the paraglider?

It’s quite sad. I had all of my horses ported from BOTW to TOTK, and it included Epona. Well, I kept getting Epona’s from the Twilight Princess Link so I decided to kill one of the Eponas.
These amiibo paired with the fusion ability is a recipe for op.
I got a 30 power shield from urbosa.
Mipha and daruk also gave fairly strong weapons.
I also fused a tree log to the cobble crusher and not much can stand up to it at this point
Scan any amiibo you own many many others also give out consumables.
Very sad that they missed the opportunity to have the Skyward Sword amiibos give you sky island related stuff

What do you mean nerfed? the only "nerfed" amiibo is wolf link, cause it doesn't spawn the wolf anymore due to the Wiiu store closing, and there as such being less accessibility to the Twilight Princess on the Wiiu which is what allowed you to get more hearts for the wolf. All other amiibos don't have any nerfs, you just need to spend multiple days using them to get the outfit items from them cause they have an RNG loot-table just like in BotW. This video doesn't show everything you can get from them, cause clearly the game hasn't been out for enough days yet for anyone to get evverything from them yet.
@@combastion5227 The Twilight Bow got nerfed. You no longer get infinite range or light arrow shots.

@@tonyredgrave7593 they're scattered everywhere. I found the fierce deity Links pants in the giant tree stump. It's hollow now with a bunch of little rooms. So either look up a guide or have discovering them be a fun surprise.
@@tonyredgrave7593 many are from side quests called Misko's treasure some are hidden in the caves it you need to solve some puzzles, and many other costumes are in the depths

So it's pretty much like how they worked in botw where you have to use them multiple times in order to get all the items they offer?

Yes, they function the same as in BotW, they have a random loot-table, though you're guaranteed one of the special items every 5th attempt atleast. From what I've heard you can also actually get all amiibo items in the game itself this time around, though I haven't heard how yet, whether it's in specific locations or some kind of randomized chest loot.
Amiibos seem to be less interesting in this game than BoTW which is pretty disappointing but I'm glad I don't have to worry about being temptated by some extremely expensive Amiibos if I get this game.

I’m so unlucky I’ve scanned a toon link amiibo card 10 times I saved and reloaded my save I’m trying to get the glider/outfit piece but I only get soldier broadswords
So the only way I can get those tunics is by amiibos and not thru quests ?
With the awakening set he showed the tunic of wind not the tunic of awakening

I’ve only got this for less than 24 hours and I use all my Amiibo’s from before and all I’ve gotten is mostly cooking ingredients, arrows, and small amount of very week weapons. I got most paraglider cloths.
You have to progress thru the story to get the better amino items to drop

Can anyone help me! My Young Link amiibo and OOT Link amiibo only drop a soldiers claymore! I got the entire hero of time outfit but now for almost two weeks all I ever get is soldier’s claymore! Nothing else but the stupid claymore! I feel like it’s bugged! Even if I try the amiibo spam method every time I reload a save I only get soldiers claymore! Anyone else have this problem?

It's all random luck. The 30th anniversary Young Link amiibo only drops it btw.

I scanned alot of amiibo although it was like right after I got my ultra hand and all the drops were trash is it just because it was the beginning of the game? because I barely got any chests and most things in them were just jewels
I think it's randomized but you can scan them each day for different drops or load a previous save to reroll the chest. Atleast that's how it was in Botw
@@Maria67362 yes I did that a few times on the ones that dropped chests but it was basically just gems. I'll retry once it resets, does it reset every 24 hour or just everyday I forgot. since I got down to the lower level so maybe now that I got to that level it'll give me better stuff.
@@Kaehyung Yes, from what I've heard from multiple people you need to be out of the starting zone for amiibos to start properly functioning.
