Even if you're not InTo GunPla, or even Gundam, I recommend CheckingOut how interesting the heads from SD models (SuperDeformed = Chibi) look on HG (HighGrade, referring to the scale and level of detail) models. It's jokingly refered to as a "Perfect Grade".
Just a reminder: weapons are supposed to be weak, its literally part of the story. Ganondorf giving us a the Dusk Sword at a whooping +30 before fusing is probably the most overpowered thing I seen.
I actually find the Champions Amiibo's NOT being their old weapons a bit disappointing (especially for Revali. His bow would have presumably been useful in-game.)
I honestly find it so upsetting that Epona is an Amiibo instead of being something found or unlocked in the game. It would have been so great to do some side quest in the shadow of the Hero of Time and then you can find Epona during that quest or it is the reward at the end
If you are hunting for the amiibo gear, you can directly save the game, then use the amiibo, if you have no luck just reload and repeat until you get the gear item so you don't have to wait an entire day. EDIT: It can take many tries or few (if you´re lucky). I was trying to get the twilight bow in BOTW and it took me at least 30 mins
For me, the food items will be the biggest help in the beginning. The other items I know will be great, but food and arrows in the beginning sound like they’re the most critical. Just waiting on Amazon to deliver my copy.
In botw amiibo loot was determined of how far into the game you are (not sure if it was the amount of shrines or what) bit pretty much the loot was worse early game

I believe that they remove it bc for putting more heart in Link wolf healt, you have to do the amiibo dungeon in twilight princess hd for wiiu, and bc the wiiu as low sales, the eshop is closed and the remaining copies physical are over prized bc are rare, so yeah, I believ is that, but is a sad thing that there isnt more Wolf Link ywy

When I was playing the new Zelda tears ofk, I found something shocking! You know those big skeleton looking heads everywhere in Hyrule. On my way to soars domain I found a hole under a big head! And there I saw more bone under it that looked like a rib cage. When I went deeper down I found something that looked like a Pelvis. Maybe this is proof that Hyrule used to have giants?

Hopefully helpful fact, if you change the date, so May 12 2014 to May 13 2014 on your switch and then reload the game; it'll allow the ambio to be used again, it cant be a date beyond our current one though, if memory serves right. This way you can grind amibo all day if you're keen to. Game must be restarted each time... I think, memories a little foggy on it.
Luckily for me I only have one amiibo and it happens to be the one that gives me Epona. Super helpful and also iconic. I'm going to hunt down some more amiibos in the future
Such a letdown for the majority of these. Pretty much just a Sheik Mask, an Awakening Link Mask, TP Ganondorf's Sword and Epona, that's it. Everything else I'm pretty sure is stuff you can get in-game.
Something that must be mentioned is that the young link AMIIBO in Smash in BOTW did not give you any clothing but in TOTK if they give you specifically that of the Hero of Time Funny because it came out just a few minutes ago haha
These amiibo paired with the fusion ability is a recipe for op. I got a 30 power shield from urbosa. Mipha and daruk also gave fairly strong weapons. I also fused a tree log to the cobble crusher and not much can stand up to it at this point

It's because of the fuse mechanic. It was a cool gimmick, but it prevented you from using any other elemental arrows. I don't know what's the equivalent to a light element, but the Star Fragment makes the same drawing sound as the light arrows while I was experimenting.
What do you mean nerfed? the only "nerfed" amiibo is wolf link, cause it doesn't spawn the wolf anymore due to the Wiiu store closing, and there as such being less accessibility to the Twilight Princess on the Wiiu which is what allowed you to get more hearts for the wolf. All other amiibos don't have any nerfs, you just need to spend multiple days using them to get the outfit items from them cause they have an RNG loot-table just like in BotW. This video doesn't show everything you can get from them, cause clearly the game hasn't been out for enough days yet for anyone to get evverything from them yet.

there's in game ways to get them, so don't worry.
I got urbosas shield from mine. It seems the rewards are actually random and can change. So you just need to do them daily

The pixel link will actually give you a fabric for the glider. Its one of the things you can get.
