This was a great video! I appreciated how you took the time to explain everything. I was wondering, should the camera be on when trying to balance everything? The lens protrudes outwards for my camera when I turn it on and I feel everything was off balance when I turned my camera on after balancing it when it was off.
I have the crane m first version and thinking of upgrading to the crane m2 which looks smaller and not bulky as the crane m. doing research if worth the upgrade
Or consider the Weebill-S as well. Its really portable and can do a lot more stuff. 😀

is it possible to perfectly balance a canon M50... seems like its too big to balance it for V mode?

A quick Question: Should the Crane / Camera be balanced Switched on? I.e am using the A6400 + Kit lens 3,5-5.6. and after balancing with camera switched off - once the camera is switched on, its no longer balanced as the lens extends out a little?
Camera needs to be switched on and balanced with the lens extended. Sorry i didnt point that out in the video.

Nope it wouldnt take the payload and might be a little too hard to balance.

What lense goes good with the Sony a6500 with the gimbo
My go-to lens for the a6500 is the Sigma 16mm f1.4 however it is difficult to balance it on the crane m2. The kit lens actually works the best and you can barrel rolls and stuff without any issues.
am having sony6300. wifi connection to zhiyun crane m2 gimbal is not working... ? most of the time it shows 'axis lock'
Hmm... maybe its the a6300 firmware issue. Maybe u can try updating your firmware and see if it works?
Hi thanks for sharing! just a quick question..do you have to recalibrate or rebalance when you changing focal(zoom in and zoom out) length with the kit lens?
Its better to balance it with the camera on with the lens sticking out. So that i normally dont have to recalibrate after that. 😀

hi, is it normal for motors to vibrate when using high motors mode? my configuration is with iphone x. if I put the motors at low speed, the vibration disappears.

Hi, Please help. Single click on trigger button doesn't take me to F mode. I did single click from all other modes but it never took me to F mode. I cant go to F mode at all !!. As given in manual, Long press on trigger button activates F mode and it goes back to previous mode upon releasing the trigger. The firmware version is 2.02 upgraded on 27 June 2020, The Gimbal is purchased in January 2020.. Please help to solve the problem. How to go to F mode.

@@TreeTanksDev I'm buying Lumix ZS100, give it a last try, if not will return. Have Karma gimbal for gopro which always balances. M2 came with a list of cameras which is compatible looks like apart from Sony RX100 or Lumix ZS, nothing will balance.

Great video but this is the biggest hassle ever. Did not expect this. My first time using a gimbal and people told me that this gimble would support a sony a6400 with a 30m sigma 1.4 lens. I think they were full of shit. I can not balance this thing and i have no more patience.
EDIT: I balanced the kit lens pretty easy. Probably gonna return this thing though since it won't work with any lens besides the kit lens

How easy is it to swap between an a6500 and a gopro? Do I have to re-balance between the two devices?
I want to use a6500 for photo and small video but gopro would be ideal for longer video than 30mins.

Can this gimbal go in inverted mode? Will be using a GoPro H9. Little worried it can’t as there’s no information online and a few having issues with it. Would be attaching a long selfie stick and holding it low to the ground for skating

hi, i have a sony a6400 and i can't Vortex horizontally, any advice?
This channel helped me balance the A6400 with the Sigma 56mm 1.4. I had mission impossible to shooting vertically, motors stop to work in about 2 seconds. It was a little bad for me to give up and sell this gimbal. I am happy that I can keep it now and enjoy the videos!
Rubbish device. Charging mechanism died early in its life. Had to return to seller.

Two questions: 1) Is not possible to use the record button if Im not connected to the app in the smartphone? 2) Even if I´ connected to the app, I can only use the record button if I am connected to the VIDEO MODE. Hey there! You're welcome! Yeah it does work in certain modes only for certain cameras unfortunately. Are you using the A6500 as well?
@@TreeTanksDev Im using only the a6500 with a zeiss 24mm 1.8. The only way that the record button works is with the video mode. Otherwise, it does not work.
Does the screen articulate up while on the gimbal?

Nope it wont clear the axis. The pancake kit lens will work 16-35mm

Its fine actually. Still works well. You can do the Zhiyun Weebill-S method to balance the pan axis.

Connected it but the video button is not responding while starting to record, once the recording is started from the camera body, it can be stopped from the switch in the gimbal.
Also still photo can be taken by double clicking the button.

Omar Batac hey there! For me i would definitely go for the DJI Ronin SC! You are able to do so much more. I would only recommend the Zhiyun Crane M2 if you travel a lot and need portability and are using a small camera. 😀

Ahhhhhh best tutorial I've seen. I've almost got it , but after I do vortex mode. It wont go back to go mode . The mode changes but the camera doesn't move back to face forward 😭😭😭
