It’s a joke but I’ll show a reference it says she kept the hat after she met Harry kind of I’m just as funny as I was then type thing like an Easter egg
@@fatsdom: Tbh, I may have seen it the first time I saw the movie, but it is highly possible that it didn't really register because admittedly, I sometimes have memory problems due to the several times I was knocked unconscious when younger, which did some minor damage to my memory, and sometimes giving me brain farts, where I have the memory, but accessing the memory is often a hit or miss deal, having the memory pop up at a later time. And no, it wasn't because of being abused. Each time I was knocked unconscious was because of an accident.
Haven't watched this movie (only the first one). I've watched a few clips. The actors have done a good job in pretending to be the younger selves of the men and friends etc
@@PsychicDetectiveYakumo Never showing, mentioning or alluding to it despite it being a pretty major plot point of the previous movie plus showing the other two dad’s partners while, again, never showing, mentioning or alluding to Harry’s partner definitely gives the impression that they deliberately forgot.
In this movie Harry have never been with a woman sexually. He is telling the ticket booth guy for the ferry that he was going after the only woman he will ever love. After he leaves the guy in the ticket booth sings "take a chance on me". There are subtle hints that Harry is not straight and still trying to figure himself out.
The fact that Benny Andersson of Abba is the pianist makes this scene.
And he is playing "our last summer"
and it was great to see him in the movie.
Your English is killing me “the fact benny Anderson from abba is the pianist in this scene”there ya go
@@Mojajoja I’ve just noticed this too as this was the song Collin Firth in the first film who plays adult Harry 😂👌
@@User16085 they are saying it makes the movie complete
I wish this was life. Just people bursting into perfect performances out of nowhere.
That’s what makes musicals magic.

I told my mom when I was younger, I want to have a wedding like Mamma Mia 😅 which means going to Greece just to have that kind of wedding 😂
Oh my god, i just realised in this scene before they sing, the pianist is playing our last summer
It's Benny Andersson.
Me too
@@kikimannova4161 ok
OMG
I love that Benny Andersson from Abba is the pianist and is playing our last summer in the background
Has anyone noticed that the hat, is the same as Donna has on the first movie in 'Dancing queen'?
that's the joke
Omg i rememberr also its not a joke, its a refrence
It’s a joke but I’ll show a reference it says she kept the hat after she met Harry kind of I’m just as funny as I was then type thing like an Easter egg
They're both so adorable.
“no it’s a thing i always say to make me look cool.”
Hadn't noticed "Our last summer" playing in the background in the beginning. Alluding to his song in part one :-D
I must not have noticed before, until just now, that Benny did a cameo in the second movie, too, and not just the first movie.
How could you not notice brah hahaha. Pay more attention to movies next time.

@@layalfirdaws this scene is a whole easter egg for Abba fans

this is the best song ever
Fernando is definitely Donna's father.
If you listen very closely you can hear "Our last summer" being played on the piano in the background. 00:40

I do appreciate the our last summer homage.
That ending makes me think that Hugh and Lily went in a bit too hard and accidentally headbutted each other, hence them both laughing so much.
Waterloo, Why did it have to be me, and Our last summer. Sam can’t sing, Bill is cool, but harry is the best
Agreed
I want the chips that Donna is eating whilst they were chatting in the beginning
he is so charming
There’s no way that Harry was actually in love with Donna, i’d call it more of an infatuation😎

I love that they just completely forgot that Harry is gay.
why do u think they forgot that?? Donna said that Harry could have been the father, so obviously he at this point didn't know or was questioning
