Stuttgart had to win playoffs last year to stay in the Bundesliga, but under Seb Hoeness finishes 2nd this year. This is a remarkable turnaround! Seb Hoeness has managed to find and turn young players into solid stars wherever he has gone. Good young coach!

Incredible season for Stuttgart. Last season, they had almost got relegated by winning the playoffs against Hamburg. Now, they were 2nd and played in the Champions League the next season!
So many underdogs will be coming in the new Champions League with 36 teams. The likes of Aston Villa, Bologna, and Girona will made their debuts.
Aston Villa and Girona are mid. They gonna fall off from ,,group stage". But on the other hand Bologna is realy reeeaalyy good. They could be a knockout stage team if they can keep their best players and their Manager.

It's now too difficult for lesser sides to repeat such an amazing achievement. The last time a debutant had its good run in the CL was Villarreal in 2005/06 season, when they reached the semifinal. They repeated this 16 years later with Unai Emery, after winning the Europa League for the first time.

He deserves more credit for this great achievement. Hope he remains at Stuttgart because there are already rumours that Atlético de Madrid and Milan are interested in signing him.
