- This time on Extreme UTV we are taking you back to Wildcat Offroad Park in East Bernstadt, Kentucky for round 2 of the Southern Rock Racing Series 2024 season. This is the second race for me in my RZR Buggy in the unlimited cup class. Race 1 was tough and I only finished one hill. My goal for this race is to make two consistent fast laps and finish both courses. Well that didn't quite go as planned. 8 seconds behind timmy on the first hill seems incredibly solid for the second time of racing again, especially if its a buggy that has just been bought :)
I could have done much better if the seat wasn’t ringing my brain. I brought that machine in rough shape and completely rebuilt it. Still need more seat time but that’s hard to come bye sometimes when you are busy. Hopefully I do better at the next one.

Matt you fiddled with your helmet many times. I'm guessing you obviously noticed... Get that figured out. You will be much faster..
I was bobble heading between the head restraint part of the seat so I removed it for hill 2 and it felt much better up until the moment I rolled 😬

It didn’t make any sense to me that it did that. I also didn’t see all of the other people roll on the same spot 😂
Most of these drivers mimic T. Cameron’s throttle blips, but very few have an understanding as to how to use it correctly.
Like the man invented throttle control 😂

Facts. Lots has changed since I raced 5 years ago. But I am getting the bugs worked out and will be on the podium soon enough.
