Hey ,I have a tub in my balcony which is transparent and open lid which houses 4 baby koi . The water keeps getting green even though direct sunlight doesn't fall on it. How can I keep the water clear without any electric appliances or without any plants?
@@afrozaalam9927 I think the issue is stability as the container is too small… it’ll be hard to regulate parameters. I recommend bringing it inside to grow them out there so you can control the light better!

@@ApexPrimals not sure… each individual seems to produce eggs at different intervals. Some of mine do not appear to have ever berried either

It’s gonna be tough without plants. Even a small amount of indirect sunlight will cause algae growth.
@@TheFishBeast if i add fresh water,cover its 4 sides with black polythene and use a black lid will it stop the algae growth?
@@afrozaalam9927 how big is the tub, what filtration are you using, how big are the koi and what is the ambient temperature where you live?
@@TheFishBeast the tub is 120 litres houses 4, 2 inch baby koi i use a sponge filter (small) size and current tempeartaure is 37°c
