I think the best tidbit about this movie is that the t-1000 guy actually IS that fast, he pushed himself very hard into the physicality of this role. I've heard that apparently he originally was not supposed to catch up to the car during the 'running after them while they speed in the car' sequence, but that he caught up to the car so fast they changed the scene up so that he would catch the car as part of the movie and then hang on the car like he does in the movie. It's one of the best early 90s movies.
That’s a cool stunt with the tow truck jumping off the overpass, but there’s no freaking way. It would’ve survived that fall, but I guess in the movies pigs can fly and dogs and cats can talk.🤣
Watch closely as the tow truck hits the concrete from the bridge, the front wheels are pointing in different direction so in sure they had to cut the scene and repair that
Yeah, again, american hollywood, always been pretty out of touch with reality, diesel will ignite with an open flame, but is kinda sluggish to light, and has to be at a certain temperature to do so. Ive seen a diesel vehicle on fire, never seen one abruptly explode, like a battery car does

Reality is that the truck was totalled after the drop. The steering joints had popped apart, the propshaft came apart and the engine mounts broke off. That truck was going nowhere! The bike wasn't a two stroke either, they dubbed the sound😂

I love this movie…one of the greatest sequels of all time but there is one flaw with T-1000…he wears a cop uniform and belt the entire time and not once uses his gun…like when John is fleeing the mall. why didn’t he just shoot him??
I think i know why. The T1000 only copies the image it is representing, the gun likely isnt a usable accessory, just part of the shape of the copied image of the cop

Terminator and Terminator 2 was a masterpiece. James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd was very great. Best movies for ever.

You can see after it lands the jump that the front suspension is broken in the passenger side. Quick jump cut and we're rolling again.
Realistically the front axle would have broken in half like a twig and that truckwouldn't have been able to move anymore

You're correct. Diesel cannot explode, but once it's on fire, it's more difficult to put out.
