Ahsoka continues the time honored tradition of absolutely owning Inquisitors.
Leia: The hut slayer
Ahsoka: Slayer of Inquisitor
Yeah nameless nobodies that are literally inserted for an episode or two just so she can kill them like this you are such an easily entertained...
@@helghast1149 To be fair, since the Rebels era, the Inquisitors have always been a nobody with no name, the absolute joke, and a mere punching bag to the main characters, so as bad as Ashoka is, treating the Inquisitors as an absolute joke is still accurate to the lore.
"Well the children's show watered down the bad guys into Saturday morning cartoon villains with no depth like it's G1 Transformers S1, so that means the live-action adult show should be doing the same"
You people have to be joking. Bad writing does not equate to lore accuracy and the people like you who accept anything to lore just because they were handed a title is why the community is in such dire straits.
Stop taking every popular franchise and making it a Marvel-tier quip fest with no stakes and lame characters with lame plots. Gatekeeping is about to come back hard and by the way you talk you'll likely be on the other side of that.@@tengentoppagurrenlmao5907
@@tengentoppagurrenlmao5907 How is Ahsoka bad at all?
I love the marrok meme with plankton where it says 1 percent evil, 99 percent hot gas
It was so funny
I'm convinced Palpatine and Vader designed the spinning Inquisitor sabers specifically because anyone competent enough with lightsaber combat wouldn't have too much trouble dealing with them.
"We trained them wrong, as a joke." applies here. Inquisitors are trained to be hyper-offensive fighters with glaring weaknesses in their defense so Vader or Sideous can kill them easily when they need to.
@@julbot1 Not even that. Even as a group, the Inquisitors are no threat to the Sith. Their training was deliberately intended to cripple their Force powers. Even ordinary Jedi can handle them quite comfortably. Kanan defeated the Grand Inquisitor with ease at the end and defeated another on Malachor. This is despite his own sword skill being somewhat mediocre.
The point of the Inquisitors was simply to track down the Jedi. If the Inquisitor did their job, then hey, that's a win. If the Inquisitor is killed, that's a sign that the target is a true Jedi, and Vader needs to step in. This was the case for Kanan and Ezra after the death of the Grand Inquisitor.
After Malachor, having lost four Inquisitors to the Jedi in quick succession, Vader stops sending them after Kanan and Ezra. He's already determined personally that neither of them is a real threat, and not worth his time. He's after the big fish.
@Cailus3542 Kanan beating the Grand Inquisitor was bad. He was a Temple Guard. And he would stand a chance against Asohka. He would still lose though.
@@Cailus3542 Yeah, the Inquisitor's track record on screen is hilarious, they often struggle with even padawans with incomplete training such as Cal Kestis and Kanan Jarrus, both of which defeated Inquisitors in single combat before they were even knighted, (9th sister for Cal, Grand Inquisitor for Kanan) after being knighted, Cal defeated another (2nd Sister) and killed the 9th sister in a rematch.
a Jedi of Ahsoka's calibre, (which to be clear, is very strong) could handle two inquisitors solo. t
The only time we've seen an Inquisitor fight an actual Knight 1v1 was Cal Kestis' rematch with the 9th sister. and that was a whitewash.
@@gabrielcarrasco9078 Nah, none of the inquisitors stand a chance against Ahsoka, Kanan was able to beat the Grand Inquisitor, but was absolutely bent over against someone like Vader, whom Ahsoka held her own against,
there's a massive gap there. If we're talking Jedi+Sith+Inquisitors in this period it's:
Sidious > Yoda > Vader = Obi-Wan (up to a point where Obi-Wan gets too old) > Maul > Ahsoka > Cal Kestis > Kanan Jarrus > Grand Inquisitor > 2nd Sister > 3rd Sister > All other Inquisitors.
That Gas's Scream was like that of the Nightsister's magic
This dude was the coolest inquisitor to ever exist. And he’s one of the only ones to survive multiple encounters with Ahsoka
The Inquisitor from Tales of the Jedi was the coolest. Awesome mask, amazing cloak! He was the only cool inquisitor
@@benjaminhager6285he literally got taken down in 2 seconds he’s not cool at all
@@senseilowg4957 Tbf he was fighting Ashoka, none of the inquisitors have a chance against Ashoka. But as well compare him to the others, who all chicken out multiple times and comparatively he’s the coolest
Second Sister and Grand Inquisitor were pretty badass.
@@jackreynolds2144 GI was a bit goofy and 2nd sister went fr badass to emotional wreck the moment the helmet came off. Not bad mind you (great even, quality character writing), but the badassery kinda gets lost when you realise girls being held together by a rubber band and a few sticks
It's always the cool ones that get killed off in star wars one way or another
Lame characters get killed too. Just look at Phasma
@@eric_moore-6126u sound really dumb lol
0:30 Marrok uses Trakata to get out of the saber hold.
a cheap trick
1 - not really a cheap trick, it's a well documented form of Lightsaber technique.
2 - You expect the Inquisitor to play fair?
3 - Honestly, why don't MORE saber users do it?
@@Frozenkoldfury saber uses don’t use it because the Jedi deemed it unfair in a duel and the Sith thought you were a b*tch if you had to use Trakata so nobody used it
Thank you for putting into the format we would have loved to see during the series. A lightsaber fight that doesn’t cut every 10 seconds to something else for zero reason.
It's a shame the second the sound designer remembers what the Inquisitor's lightsaber sounds like, they just kill off the character. They sounded like generic lightsabers in the Kenobi show mind you.
Random Inquisitor dies quickly to the padawan of Anakin Skywalker who has fought foes like Grievous,Ventress,Vizsla and Vader. What a shocker that the inquisitor dies extremely quickly against her…
@@CheesySalmon don't try reasoning with the incels. They're here to complain
Its because Dave Filoni wasnt on Kenobi to keep the story consistent and correct
Loser
I like how clean that slice was
It was nice... but the show in its entirety is trash....
@@avansmiley6121 I disagree, In my opinion I thought the show was great and I bet a lot of people would agree with me.
@@avansmiley6121Still a million times better then the Sequels, especially in terms of lightsaber battles.
I think he missed the memo: spinning isn't actually a good trick.
I love that even as a murderous Sith Lord, responsible for horrendous acts, Anakin looks at the Inquisitors and thinks "yup, spinning is still a good trick".
Darth vader lasted 3 whole films. Disney baddies cant survive an series episode,or two.
„Anime style“ Ahhh death
Best moment in the entire series so far.
Inquisitors made up for their lack of ability with their drip
Now that's a Japanese ref culture of sword duel.
0:38, Anakin did that form in Attack of the Clones
he taught her well.
And again in ROTS against Dooku. Ahsoka decided to switch styles, recognising that Anakin's style might be more effective at quickly killing the Inquisitors.
I’m fairly sure that’s one of the signature stances of Form 2 Makashi.
Shame Marrok didn't have Sabine Wren's plot armor, that cut would have been just a flesh wound otherwise and he would have been back on his feet in no time.
He’d already been revived once. That green smoke escaping from him was night sister magic.
@@jasonkoch3182, just like Savage Opress when he was mortally wounded
To be fair, a stab to the abdomen isn’t really the same as a sliced open abdomen… easier to hand wave the severity of the injury. Besides, single stab wounds aren’t usually fatal in most fiction anyway unless there is a narrative need.
@@RyTyterry, and think about Qui Gon’s stab, it likely severed his spine
@@pop-culturecinephile8144 And Qui-Gon was lying there for minutes. Sabine got medical attention immediately.
I always thought the inquisitors spinning lightsaber was more of an intimidation tactic than an effective strategy. But, I can see Anakin/Vader adding that to the inquisitor lightsabers, thinking “spinning, that’s a neat trick!”
HIlarious looking back at this, when everyone was so excited to find out who he really was. I was hoping it was a form of StarKiller, but smoke works, i guess.
Funnily enough, not a single Jedi or Sith master has ever been seen using this gimmicky helicopter dual saber.
It's always the nobodies. For some reason.
Ahsoka pulling a dick move here, by taking on this chump and leaving her apprentice to deal with the harder duel!
I love seeing the ways that choreographers work past the issue of bulkier, heavier lightsaber props in these new shows. Recharacterising ahsoka as a samurai was a great idea
It is easier to cover for slower untrained actors to manage as well. No months of intensive pre-shoot training here like in the prequels.
best part of the entire show
Oh Inquisitors. Don't you ever learn? Ashoka eats your kind for breakfast. Probably her main source of fibre!
I wish he was used more. The only inquisitor I’ve ever really liked the character of was trilla in fallen order
So... does this actually kill him this time? I've not got Disney Plus so I'm relegated to clips, and it looks like this has happened Ed to this Inquisitor a couple of times now. What's different about this one?
Ahsoka and Maul surely own their titles of inquisitor slayers ngl
After all of the Starkiller rumors that went on about this character and how he was going to be this big, huge thing in the series; the secret apprentice to Vader and all that...which I absolutely hated, I think I audibly laughed out loud when I saw this scene.
the show would have been over if it was him lol
Surprised he didn't survive it
Why is Ahsoka fighting against Tron, or I guess Rinzler?
I think the same thing 😅
Ahsoka is hot! Great lightsaber action!
If anyone here has seen The Boys Marrok honestly reminds me of Black Noir, but only because he never said anything. He seemed skillful yet sloppy. To me him and Noir just seemed similar mainly because they were both silent and deadly at the same but both got lame deaths if I’m being honest. If he was brought back from the dead (night sister magic not Disney “magic”) I hope that he’ll return again if Ashoka gets a season 2.
0:41
Ugh, why? Just why can't they make one Inquisitor something more than a punching bag?
Please, don't bullshit me with "vAdEr mAdE tHeM wEaK", they should be absolute morons not to notice it and not try become stronger, even secretely. Especially since Vader was DEAD for YEARS at this point. Like ffs...
But no. They are still clumsy and stupid. And Ahsoka cuts through their spinning moves effortlessly, like they mean nothing. The Force? The speed? The reaction? Clever tactics? Sure, I am going to rush a Jedi Master with my sword spinning, that's a good trick that won't fail at all, right? Considering this guy had a history with Ahsoka, it's even more stupid.
Disney just can't make any antagonist that would look any one bit as menacing as Palpatine, Thrawn, Darth Krayt, Darth Vitiate, or a plethora of other EU villains.
You kind of undercut your argument acknowledging "this guy had history with Ahsoka."
You realize almost every good Jedi is dead at this point. Like every Jedi master is either dead or directly against the empire. Almost all inquisitors are padawans
@@youmustcreateachanne
How?
@@jackreynolds2144
Doesn't mean shit. By THIS time, Padawans must be all grown-ups, not to mention they were given Sith training.
And Ahsoka should have literally Force Pushed his lightsaber into his chest. The fact she seems to even try against this guy (or a Nightsister) is ridiculous on itself.
@@anton.chigrinetc.96 being grown up means nothing if you hadn’t advanced further in Jedi training. Even if they are older they are still padawans. And they were not given sith training. They were trained in the dark side but not sith training. And they were only trained enough so they could stand a chance against low level Jedi.
Starwars has become too soft when depicting violence.
not like the good old days where obi wan kenobi just turns into a pile of rags with no visible injury whatsoever

Inquisitors need to stay away from ahsoka there is a video of her killing one with his own light saber
Fuck Inhate its zoomed in.
Ahsoka you’re the badass
あんた、ライトセーバーくるくるさせたら、隙がでかいからそこで負けなのって感じだね
Exactly why Disney Inquisitors are never going to be taken seriously. Thank god Legends is much better
Well that’s kind of the whole point, they’re not that powerful
I like Rosario as an actress, but damn do they gotta up her choreography.
Another wasted villain
Shen should have died..
Fuckin' inquisitors, man. They're only rated for padawan-tier Jedi, a fighter like Ahsoka doesn't even need to breathe hard to slap them down.
As another example, an inquisitor, a particularly tough one at that, was the _tutorial boss_ for Jedi Survivor, and Cal is definitely not as good as Ahsoka is.
This wasn't even a fucking fight lmao. It was just 2 people doing a choreographed 'thing'... so pathetic. Even when she kills him its embarrassing. He literally just walks towards her and moved the lightsaber away FOR HER to kill him...
The last Obi wan vs maul was less than this but it was a million times better fight even though it was only two swings
There was too many holding lightsaber scenes in this show
What is this Dragon Ball GTXXXX shit? Are we going way off course?
Im pretty sure he was already dead
Ahsoka, one of the most agile characters in SW universe played by this grandma who can barely move.
@v.hamilton5679 literally. She’s the most athletic, energetic and agile Jedi with an incredibly lithe body in animation. In live action she’s a slow, lethargic frumpy woman that doesn’t even seem like she’s had any real training of any kind. Anakin’s death must’ve taken a toll on Ahsoka for her to let herself go like that 🤣🤣
A waste of potential, that's what this is
Marrok is not even Starkiller that Eighth Brother because he survived
It's funny that nobody remembers or cares that Ahsoka was trained by Darth Vader himself!
She was trained by Anakin.
There's a big fat difference.
@@StarWarsMoments Same man, different name. There is no difference.
Ahsoka kill Marrok with unbelievably slow and bad lightsaber skills.
Inly an idiot would hold their sword like that.
This lightsaber is so stupid
Just jab into the pizza sized ring in the middle when it's spinning like that.
You have a big reach advantage because you can point forwards while the spinny thing has to be sideways because it's a threat to the wielder in any other orientation.
That circle hub in the middle is a huge target for anyone halfway decent at fencing.

Cheap rip-off of Obi-Wan and Maul duel from Rebels :(
its like poetry! it rhymes!
Actually this is based off an old samurai movie I think
Well that works out then, because kenobi and Vader in the kenobi show was a cheap rip off of Ahsoka and Vader in rebels. It rhymes!
The cinematography for this fight sucks. why are we zoomed in on half their bodies for half the fight we want to see it. the reason they do that is so they can be lazy with the choreography because they know they can't come close to the prequels fights
What a waste of a show
