personally, I would sooner see 1 big video every couple of weeks instead of these little ones where he's not having a very good result. At least with a full pack you've more chance of getting a big win/at least half your money back. Maybe if he saves up his budget for the bigger ones. I want to be the last person encouraging anyone to spend more money gambling.
