They are really brilliant. The case fit‘s perfectly. Only downside I see on the long term: I would like fixed faceplates for the long run longevity

I've had the M6S for a month now, and they're really great. However, the thumbsticks started yellowing after 2 or so weeks of use, so keep that in mind if you plan on buying these. Otherwise, they're probably the best joycon replacement right now.

No i shouldnt be looking at buying these, especially since i'll probably buy kingdom come: deliverance later this week. But! I just received the m6hd in black, great controller but much too noisy, the buttons are very clicky.

For the case, you can you one thats meant for the Horipad joycons since they're roughly the same size. And totally agree, Mobapad M6 HD are the best controllers.

@@128KB Can you verify if these have HD rumble issues on games like Yoshi's Crafted World, Hyper Light Drifter, and N64 App? There is not that much info out there about that.

The video says that in Europe you can't buy these from the official Mobapad site, but you actually can. According to the site info they deliver to the UK, Germany and other European countries. I live in Finland and ordered the M6 HD here from the official site a few days ago. They haven't arrived yet, so we'll see how the delivery actually goes... But I just wanted to mention that the option is at least available for us Europeans too.
Do you by any chance know where they are beeing sent from? I am asking because of import charges... trying to figure out how much would they cost me to get them to EU where I am.

I got these a couple weeks ago, and they've been REALLY solid, the only critique I have is that the dpad feels a little awkward to use in handheld mode. I find the weird circle-style pad is more comfy since it's bigger. The d-pad is REALLY good, but the weight of the switch makes the position of it a little weird to get to for me.
I honestly can't say I have experienced your d-pad issue at all. It's the best d-pad I've used on the Switch and extremely comfy to use. I don't have to shift my grip at all or do anything to actuate it.
I am still hoping for more color options, m6hd full white is just meh

I'm confused about which one to get. M6s or M6 HD? Is there a drastic difference with the rumble? I want the M6s coz of the colors but cautious about the rumble. Is the HD rumble the same feeling as the regular Nintendo joycons or is it more or less the same as the regular rumble?
For the price the M6 S are excellent, the main difference is the rumble. The HD versions are the same as official joycons in feel, whereas the M6 S has a heavier low feeling rumble that doesn't replicate precise feelings depending on what happens in the game, if that makes sense. Honestly, save yourself some money and go for the S if you prefer the colour etc.

@ainamaree as @128KB states above the HD rumble is similar to that of the joy cons(tested on Mario Wonder music blocks) but it's stronger. But recently, I found an issue with the M6 HD rumble. Hyper Light Drifter for example has a constant rumble that never turns off unless on a loading screen or switch main menu. I tested with regular joycons and M6S and none have the issue. I tried updating firmware and downgrading firmware to no avail. I personally think the M6S color scheme is much nicer but got the HD version just for the rumble. In conclusion go for the M6S.
@@Jei013Thanks for the heads up! I'm adding to cart the M6S now. I've been holding off since I already have the 8BitDo Ultimate Controller with Charging Dock（Bluetooth). I think this one doesn't have HD rumble too but it's a good rumble. I just wanted another option instead of the original joycons on the go. My hands hurt a bit with the original joycons when I play Monster Hunter Rise. Haha 😂
How does it feel in table top mode? Is it comfortable using in both hands seperately?
mine arrived today after 2 weeks. bought them because of your videos.
i have a question. may m6hd arrived and the left joycon was lowbat. ive been charging it for 12 hours and its still not 100%. at first i thought it was not charging because it stays red for a along time. after awhile it became gree but after 12 hours its still not 100%
What percentage does it get to? Is it staying low or fairly high? Might be worth trying to power cycle them by playing them until they're absolutely zero battery and then recharging from flat to see if it works. If not you may need to contact MOBAPAD as it may be a manufacturers issue. Please keep us updated!
@@128KB after 15 hours it reached 100%. but i tried to unplugged the switch then plugged it again, it shows a charging icon again. also i played for two hours unplugged, after that i tried charging it again and the left joycon shows it has 1/3 of battery left but the right is still full.
also that same left joycon slides up and down just a little bit. the right joycon zero movement at all
i will observe for a few days. but maybe you are right that its a manufacturer issue since the left joycon has a little bit of slide. thank you for your advice

I purchased them and have had them for around two weeks and loved them, but recently noticed that some games like Hyper Light Drifter glitch the HD rumble and it's constantly on. Anyone else have this issue?
Update This was fixed as of update 1.19.
How do you update the controller? Are these joy-cons worth 80 bucks or the regular ones with a grip are good enough?
One thing I haven't seen mentioned is there any discernible difference in the quality and level of noise the mechanical buttons on the M6S make compared to the HD? I know the switches are different, but is one more loud/clicky than the other?
These rapidly drain the life of my Switch in sleep mode.

why hasn't a company designed a pair of joycons that match the layout of the Steam Deck? Having all the controls layout across the top of the device is so comfortable. The placement of the d-pad and right analog on these joycons force you to constantly strain the joint of your thumbs

Yeah agreed! The Nitro Deck+ coming out soon is almost there with the new symmetrical joystick layout but not quite the same as the Steam Deck. I also love how comfortable the steam deck is!
I wish they had a center panel so that I could use it in docked mode. Would buy it instantly. Any suggestions for a joy con like that with hall effect joysticks?
The nyxi wizard one apparently works with these, and I've heard other third party wedge ones on Amazon work
As said above, the NYXI centre grip works with these but if you can wait MOBAPAD are apparently working on one.
What about replacement thumb sticks? They are removable, but there's no option to buy new ones. :(

Hi, I ordered today from Aliexpress to Colombia because your videos, thank you. I sold my Hyperion Pro but the sticks textures are not comfortable for me. My question is, it's possible to put a thumbs caps on the M6 HD sticks to avoid the wear and color change? The Hyperion Pro sticks are more bigger. Or buy a replacement sticks?

I bought these joycons for better gyro aiming, and they definitely deliver! I have had issues with the right joycon while playing Resident Evil Revelations 1and2. I also have a doyoky epoch and have issues with the right joycon in those games too so I believe its an issue with those games.
What's the issue? Are the Joy-cons worth it despite the issue?
@@caetanodantas4880 they've worked perfectly with everything else, I believe it's an issue with that game not the controller. It still works pretty good, but adds an extra challenge by having to disconnect and reconnect it 😂 (again, I've only experienced this in Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2)

Hope you love them! Possibly because it's a Chinese company that only used to market their products for the Chinese market. A couple years ago we found out about them and directly contacted them to see if they'd send us some samples. They told us we were the FIRST people outside of China to contact them asking to review them, so they complied and since then they started marketing their products to US/EU/UK and continued to send us their products to check out.
How do the joysticks feel like tighteness and responsiveness? Some joysticks feel lose on some controller’s accessories.
This is more tight than the joy cons.

Personally i prefer membrane d pad and face buttons. Mechanical clicky mouse buttons are not always better, at least in a gamepad

Can someone explain to me how setting up turbo, button swapping, and macros works. Using the app trying to do it myself and just on the controller I just don't know what to do. Like i've definitely changed what the button does. But I can't really get it to do what I want. The manual doesn't really help either. The directions are kind of vague or maybe I'm just not very smart.

My unit has a dead zone on the right stick but only when playing, when I check the calibration everything seems to work fine

Does anybody have issue with the buttons not registering inputs properly? I am running the latest firmware according to the app. I am using them handheld with the center piece from the original nintendo joycon grip with the handles removed. Maybe the metal in the rails can cause interference?

@caetanodantas4880 No idea... I started using them only connected to the switch, and using my 8bitdo when the switch is docked.
I only use these for pc, but the gyro drift is the biggest downside of these. I have to calibrate each time i start them, and normally after a while as well since they start to drift. Calibrating the gyro is a fast and easy procedure. But its annoying never the less!
Bah that's frustrating, it could be unit specific as I've not heard anyone else having this issue. Sorry to hear that!
@128KB I don't think it's a unit specific issue, more of a pc specific issue. @directedinput talks about having the same issue in his review. Have you tried the controllers on pc with steam input or rewasd?

I have both and I stop using the Nitrocdeck. Mobapad is more comfortable and lighter. It feels more premium too.
I have these are they are quality.. They are also very very confortable.. Mine does have a noticeable dead zone where when playing Mario Oddysey or other games the movement won't register on-screem when the joystick is move slightly in any direction.. It may just be my unit, but I thought to mention it..
That's actually really good to hear about. Everything so far has been overwhelmingly positive so it is good to know. We've not noticed on this unit, so not sure if it's across the board or not?
@@128KB Wanted to share, I received the joy cons in April worked fine for a couple minutes, then the right analog stick without touching started to register right signal. Reached out to Mobapad via email, they asked me to try a several fixes and provide video as proof. After 10 emails of providing videos asking for an exchange. I just gave up. I bought the joy cons based on your review and disappointed I'll need to wait a purchase from a retailer like Amazon who has better return / exchange policy.

@@caetanodantas4880 I don’t think so. I’ve tried the Mobapads with 3 games and only happens with Zelda. I’ve checked the sticks with Switch calibration and they seem to have a good response to the inputs.

@128KB white faceplates with red on left and purple on right, from red and purple Huben/Chitu. Then another with the pastel plates swapped on, with purple analog on left over green pastel, and grey analog on right (from white M9 HD) over purple pastel. It's sick. Highly recommended
The mobapad site says these are on sale from 156 dollars. Is that the normal price? Or is it always the “sale” price?

Even the "sale price" of $79.99 is too much for direct-from-China junk. If I'm gonna pay that much, I expect to at least be paying for a couple local middle-men and distributors and recieve it quickly from a local warehouse with good customer service and return policy. Maybe when it comes to Amazon.
A lot of gaming accessories are made in China nowadays, including Nintendo's own Joycons. Just because they're made there doesn't automatically mean they're junk.
Has anyone had a problem with theirs not charging? I only play handheld so it's not a huge issue but mine won't charge via the switch or even a joycon charger. They had just enough juice in them to flash the firmware update and that's about it.

I was literally about to buy a Hori Split Pad Pro when I discovered your video on the Mobapad M6 HD - im still tempted because I prefer black, but i’m assuming there is really no real reason to purchase the Hori over M6 HD at this point?
Zero reason to get the HORI now Vs these, a few years back they were worth it but not now in my opinion! I think I've got a comparison video against the HORI on the channel!
They are expensive, sound epic apart from the import and the app. At present more than happy with my Nitro Deck which got limited edition one from Argos for £55 at the time, with case and everything included.
They're definitely not cheap and a hassle to get for sure. The Nitro Deck is still amazing, love mine! Excited for the Nitro Deck+ soon!

Nintendo will surely not keep joycons around for the switch 2, because we all know they love to make money. Still, I ordered a pair so that I can enjoy my switch better.
I thought amazing the perfect joy cons fully feautured finally but wait . No middle piece to connect the two to play as a docked pro controlller . What a oversight . 7 years and nobody can create a comfy pair of joy cons with Hall effect joysticks , motion control , HD rumble , with a center piece to use in docked mode . Ive always found many of these third party joy con alternatives interesting , but cant justify buying a controller with compromises the company should have included

What? I got mine for only 50 bucks. Bought them on AliExpress.
They're not normally $150, it's a marketing ploy, they've never been $150 and they'll remain on a permanent sale at the $79.99 price point, which puts them in line with other high-end controllers/joycon. I'm always honest in my reviews, regardless of price or whether we receive the item for free. If it's good/great then that's how it is but of course if these actually were double the price at $150 then we wouldn't recommend them so freely like we do currently.

Really?! On the left rail? Check our rail is tightened if you have the tool but don't over tighten it as it could be the joycon. Surprised though as they made it so these were super stiff to get on to entire they're not wobbly.
