Great video, Richard! Do you know how to clean a yellowish mondaine ecomatic sbb cff ffs dial? I usually appreciate some dial patina but I believe such a Mondaine must be whiter than Swiss Alps snow. Thanks in advance
What was the size of the crystal? I shattered mine and then ordered 31mm but it's too small. I'm now hesitating between getting 31.5 or 32 mm glass. In your video the eBay listing shows 32mm glass, so I assume that was what you purchased?
Thanks for the video, very helpful - especially showing the release for the crown spindle. But how did you remove the old glass and put the new one in?
Hi! I found a similar mondaine watch in a second hand shop, but I want to change the battery. Do you think someone with zero knowledge on watches can do this as well or should I go to a professional?
great video - brought mine to jeweller and they said had to go manufacturer as it did n't go after they replaced battery but I got exact same battery - renata 370 replaced it myself and worked straight up - could n't fit back by hand may invest in watch press for this
Guy's never ever ever use a Stanley knife to open a watch case back. One slip and blood everywhere - please use a watch case back knife - the right tool for the job.
Repair??. It wasn't working. Looked nice though. I replaced my battery. Nothing, dead as a flat hedgehog. I had hoped that this would be useful, but it wasn't.
Thanks for taking the time to create and share this video; it was very useful.

Does the second sweep hand stop at the 12 o'clock position for one second, like the real railway clocks?
The hardest, and most critical part, replacing the crystal for some bizarre reason isnt shown.
Didnt see crystal going in...do you glue it?

Hello,
Which diameter glass did you order? I have the same watch (Mondaine Evo 2 30mm case) and I think the glass is 27mm but I'm not 100% sure.

I agree you are absolutely right - I rather regret using it!! DO NOT COPY ME
My one the 31st of the month instead of reset to 1st keeps going till 39, so my date window it's wrong
How interesting, there is no caseback rubber seal

It's not running
You only use your fingers to close the case back?
Yes - easy press fit - as was the glass
Richards Reviews let me try it again.Thx!
Let’s see you fox a Stop2Go!
THATS a complex movement.’it also has screws on the back unlike the cheap one you have…
have this same watch...followed what he did, back refuses to come off.
You are playing with the Mondaine watch while wearing something else. Not cool.
Молодец!
i wouldnt trust this guy my watch
Like most of the english...it takes them forever to get to the point....we did not click on this for a lesson in Switzerland.
Ha ha! However, I would much prefer Richards Cliff to do it rather than a lot of those other 'quick' fix videos.
