    Should you empty the tank after so much time to clean the inside properly and if so, how do you recommend cleaning it, just adding some bleach??

    • @iSpringWaterSystems
      @iSpringWaterSystems  8 місяців тому +2

      Hi dear customer! You can sanitize the system following these steps:
      - Turn off the feed water adapter. Prepare a bucket to drain the tank.
      - Remove all the cartridges.
      - Put 3 tablespoons of bleach (1 tbsp in each vertical filter housing) and reattach to the head unit.
      - Turn on the feed water adapter until the canisters 1,2,3,4 and the tank is full. (Please do not let the water reach stages 5 or so if you have multiple post filters.)
      - Let water sit for 2 hours and drain/flush it 2-3 times until all the solution is out before reinstalling all the cartridges.

    After that entire process, when your tank is finished filling up with water at the end, if you check the pressure, it will be a lot more than the set pressure of around 7 to 9 psi, right? Once I started filling my tank up, I had my pump on the valve while it was filling, and saw the pressure rising quite a bit

      Hi there. Yes, the air tank pressure will increase in a full/heavy tank. But in an empty tank, the air tank pressure should be 7-10 psi.

    What would the maximum bladder pressure be for a 14 gallon tank?

    • @iSpringWaterSystems
      @iSpringWaterSystems  8 місяців тому

      Hi dear customer! Our storage tanks come pre-charged from the factory at 7 psi. When the tank is empty of water, the psi of the tank should be between 7 psi minimum and 10 psi maximum air pressure.

  • @CjayBenson
    @CjayBenson 10 місяців тому +1

    How often are you suppose to pressurize the tank?

    • @iSpringWaterSystems
      @iSpringWaterSystems  10 місяців тому

      Hi there. Thanks for your question! The pressurized tank comes with the amount of pressure needed for the system to work. If you are getting low water flow at the faucet, it might be that your tank has lost pressure, so you will need to check the air tank pressure. The air tank pressure should be 7-10 psi. This should not be done often.

      Hi there. It would work as long as the gauge is accurate so you can check the air pressure is between 7-10 psi. If the pressure is below or above, the system won’t work properly.

      ¡Hola! Depende del modelo del sistema que usted tenga. Si tiene un modelo RCC, la proporción de agua filtrada a agua residual es de 1:3. Si tiene un sistema con bomba como el RCC7P o RCC1UP-AK, la proporción de agua filtrada a agua residual es de 1:1.5. Si tiene el sistema sin tanque RO500, la proporción de agua filtrada a agua residual es de 2:1, y así tenemos más sistemas que tienen diferente proporción de agua filtrada a agua residual.

      Same here. I don't get it. I'm guessing the total pressure WITH water shouldn't exceed 100psi. I'll just follow the 7 - 10 psi instructions I've seen in so many vids. If it doesn't work. Then I'll take it from there.

    The problem with this is if the bladder in the tank is defective, you cannot empty the tank, and all the water will not drain out so you cannot get an accurate pressure reading. The bladder provides the pressure. If you have low pressure and you repressurize and the pressure doesnt hold, the bladder is leaking. You need to replace the tank.

    • @iSpringWaterSystems
      @iSpringWaterSystems  Місяць тому

      Hi there! Thanks for your comment! If the pressure doesn’t hold after re-pressurizing, it’s a clear sign that the bladder is damaged and the tank needs to be replaced.
