Yes, horrible choice. Especially when (1) you remember the Gris soundtrack and (2) even more so when the reviewer alludes to the praise of the Gris soundtrack. I stopped watching the review because of it. It's be on par with a La Traviata opera review and then have Rammstein playing to that review. I hardly ever log in to this Alphabet platform, but this abysmal choice made me.
Just got Gris on Steam this weekend for literally less than $1. It reminds me of Journey and Abzu. It's also surprisingly longer than I expected. Neva looks beautiful.
I played this game all the way through in one shot today. What an emotional roller coaster. When I realised what the end meant I lost it. 10/10 would cry again.
I'm loving this game so much..... It's like a mix of Gris, Ori, The Last Guardian and Planet of Lana. The art and music are exceptional! Kudos to the developers. I hope it has the awards and the recognition it deserves
There is a video on Nomada Studio and Devolver Digital UA-cam channels with Conrad Roset talking about his inspirations and he quoted these two movies, yes ❤
This seems a bit more video gamey :) Still looks hand drawn and I can only imagine how much work they put into animations! All in all, it looks not hand drawn with water color, like Gris, but more digital. But I think you have to reduce the artsiness if you want a longer experience. Looking forward to it -- thanks for the review!
my main issue with gris was the fact that the gameplay took the backseat compared to the visuals. the platforming and puzzles were extremely basic and the rest was just walking around. visuals alone don't make for a good experience. hopefully, there's more meat to this new game.
I felt like a moron because I thought the entire game was after the first cutscene. I figured we saw Neva's mother die, and then we raised Neva, and then Neva had her own cub, only to die just as her mother did. It took me way too long to realize the whole game is a flashback.
I love Gris this has been one of my most anticipated games since it was announced
strange choice of music with the review lol
Yeah, it was completely distracting and I wondered if I was alone in this take.
@@jestinjund yeah it was very distracting that i quit the review near the middle and watched another review

Not that that's a bad thing. Looks absolutely beautiful.

Neva eva, for eva eva? :D
Great one. It was a funny comment
@@cesaramoga Something tells me you do not get the reference.
Terrible choice of music, really distracts from the review.
yeah I feel like I'm watching a review for Sonic the Hedgehog or something.

I'm sure this runs really well there are reviews out on the switch port and it's been very positive

Who tf edited this video?!
Does every single game made this year have to have a woman or black or both wtf man getting tiresome.
Honestly as someone whose tired of dei it isn't the focal point of the game at all. She's got red dots on her face so shes from tribe or something.
Looks pretty, but also looks really generic…
Not my kind of game
Thanks for letting us know Apocalypse, we had no idea.
@@dripfoe_3307 Yes I enjoy fighting, RPGS, Action Adventures, Arcade Racers, Survival Horror & 3rd Person Shooters! Yourself?
Nope.
