The scariest part about this figure is it’s implications. If there was absolutely no mass shifting involved, that means when Jetfire is in his robot mode he is hundreds of feet taller than Devastator.
Yeah he would certainly be enormous because those turrets are 15 inch (381 mm since it’s most likely a British Queen Elizabeth class or Revenge class Dreadnought battleship) gun turrets which are enormous in their own rights.
I remember seeing those ships in concept art of the cancelled film Operation: Skyfire *still praying Paramount and Hasbro still pick up a WWII Prequel. ToyWorld is amazing!*
No no it can't be Toyworld's last release. They made art for other figures in the works such as the dreads, mohawk, megatron, lugnut and optimus in their WWII styles! If it's true it's such a shame because some of us personally love to dive deep into the forgotten history of transformers..
I love how they managed to turn Jetfire into a WW1/WW2 Battleship. I would keep him in battleship mode because I love warships like that. Also, in real life, he would be titanic in size!
I love the new form of Jetfire as a WW1 Battleship as seen in this video but, I'm not mistaken in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Jetfire's vehicle form was modeled after The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird and in the cartoon/animated series Jetfire resembled The Grumman F-14 Tomcat.
This is not the last release. Toyworld themselves revealed colored product images of their shatter/burst. It looks great in robot mode, and pretty good in the car and plane modes.

Wow, just a few days ago I was looking for any characters that would transform into a ship and now I see this. Yep, that is exactly what I had in mind.
The bridge section coming loose is an easy fix. Just treat the small section above the loose point like a screw and turn it right to tighten or left (which happens naturally during transformation) to loosen it. also the first section that folds back next to the main bridge SNAPS hard into a flat position rather than a kind of loose angled one. Cheers fellow enthusiast.
It would be cool if we got more of these. These are just some ideas of mine. Ironhide: M4 Sherman Ratchet: One of those WW2 medic jeeps Jetfire (WW2 instead of WW1): Either a B29 or B17 Megatron: Maus
Cool vid bro amazing figure but I will say when you asked about the turbines ships actually have engines that run on turbines especially the turbine diesel warships of WW1
QC fails aside, this should've been priced a little closer to reason. But, it's Toyworld, their older CHUG scaled stuff wasn't really that much cheaper, either. Looks like this thing was made specifically with SS05 in mind. Otherwise, for anyone with SS32 or 44, there's no reason to go with this over SS35. (Even then, I think that the DNA Design upgrade kit for SS44 has some stuff that lets you use their Jetwing pack with SS05 as well as the SS32 mold...and that's just cheaper than this thing.)
HMS Warspite aus der Zeit von 1915 schon eher selten, echt gelungens Schiffsmodel der Roboter wäre so Groß das Jet Fire sogar Godzilla herausfordern kann🎉
I'm not a Transformers fan (got this recommended because it's a battleship) but this one is pretty cool with it's big beard, axe, and being a battleship. I personally don't think it's Warspite though. The hull looks fairly dreadnought-y but the pagoda mast and fore-half of the superstructure look Japanese. The twin straight funnels and the structure just before turret 3 look like they're from a QE class though. That along with some other inconsistencies lead me to believe that it's a mashup of what the designer thought of/found when he/she looked at images of battleships. Which is still cool.
This is an accurate design of Warspite as-built, pre-modernisation (pre-1924). This would be what she looked like during WWI including Jutland, but subsequently she had 2 further refits that turned her into the image you're thinking of.
considering that in rotf his alt mode was roughly 33 meters in length the hms warpsite here would make him titan sized huge and out of scale but still an interesting idea of ww2 jetfire
I would love to see a large enough figure for the SR-71 black bird Jetfire to keep robot kibble actually in the jet mode. I know that's wishful thinking, but I really would love that.

I really want a battleship transformer for a long time, but the issues with this make me not want to get it. The combined mode is better IMO than the regular one though
The ship that jetfire transforms into is the hms hood from British navy from ww1 to ww2 that unfortunately meet its end against the German battleship bismarck
The Battleship design resembles HMS Malaya or HMS Barham which are Queen Elizabeth Class Battleships and they all had this very same layout however in the case of HMS Queen Elizabeth Warspite and Valiant They Received Extensive Reconstruction in the late 1930s of which made them look very much like a new ship with superstructure looking more like the recent King George V Class with the octopoidal Bridge. However this Transformers Figure has to be one of the most detailed and badass I have ever seen.
@@joshbradshaw6974 Double-funnel was Warspite and other QEs pre-1924, when they refitted into the single funnel (then the 1934 refits you mentioned). The R-class is based on the QE-class so they would look very similar.
one question: do the propellers turn? a battleship makes so much more sense for an old jetfire than a sr-71, although the name doesn't really work in this case. the battleship looks beautiful, and, as much as i dislike he bayverse robot designs, the ones in this series look great for what they are. personally, i think they look even better than the official designs from the movies. i love this ww1/ww2 series of 'what if' figures. the engineering is pretty insane. if i could afford them, i'd definitely pick them up. please do a video on the build-a-figure starscream. if you do, please show how it is constructed from the parts. great video, as always.
Nah the Blackbird makes sense to me. Proper big relatively older in our terms, but still the fastest in the sky. It also fits his G1 style a bit albeit the color scheme took some liberties. I think the Sr-71 tho as an alt mode for an experienced and battle hardened deception makes so much sense. Big old and superior.
I have the blue starscream one (thundercracker?) wich as far as it seems is exactly the same mold as the build a figure: I'd say that engeniring wise its almost great, there's only one step in the transformation thats hellish in regards of the non existing clereance though the pieces involved appear to be resilient enough and only the pins that hold them together could eventually fail but as they are i dont think theyre impossible to replace. Other than the above mentioned hellish step, the transformation is surprisingly easy and quick with no other instances that make me fear for the longevity of the product (there are 2 tiny posts in the neck tabs that i broke rigth away the first time i transformed it into robot, however they seem to be redundant as there was no negative outcome). The worst issue i've had have been the dreadfull loossenes of the elbows and posibly the knees in the future, both sets of joints for some reasson are made out of die cast (metal with metal) wich results in insanely low friction, as of now one of the elbows is completly lose and the other is barely capable of mantaining position, im yet to make an atempt at tigthning them up by adding extra tickness with some substance as that seems to be the only possible way to do it and in the case that it works out that would take care of the figure's mayor issue
@@leonake4194 for loose joints i use either 'kiki', which is made just for tightening joints on figures (although i've heard several times that it's basically just floor polish, but i've never tried floor polish), or i use clear nail polish. the kiki can be dripped into joints while they are still connected/assembled, whereas, with the nail polish, you need to take the joints apart and coat them while disassembled, and then let dry completely. downsides with kiki is that you will need to do several applications to get the effect that you get when you paint both sides of the joint with nail polish. nail polish can also flake off a little when you move the joints at first, but will also stop just as quickly.
The scariest part about this figure is it’s implications. If there was absolutely no mass shifting involved, that means when Jetfire is in his robot mode he is hundreds of feet taller than Devastator.
