Just finished the game after like 16 hours playing mostly blind it is amazing to see how efficiently and fast so many of these can be collected, after struggling for far too long on some here that only took you seconds. nice job

one would think you could easily "go faster" by simply making a better "collector gimbal flyer" once you got to a certain number of power cores so you could get the rest of the salvage things without having to use the car at all until the 2x1. That was actually my biggest problem with the campaign mode they really didn't challenge you on your ingenuity.
For most of the run, the shortest path is the fastest, be it by land or air. Gathering all the cores first without stopping by the nearby non-core salvages means that you’d have to teleport back to said islands to pick up the non-core salvages later, which would take longer. The campaign is rather dull, admittedly. But hey, at least i got a free world record, since nobody else is running it. 😁
If it was painful to watch, you could have just stopped watching. There's a map that can help you find all the trailmakers parts. Google "trailmakers parts map", and it should be one of the first links.
same here for me and the armored seat on the previous video. wiki kept talking about deadmans gorge, and i kept looking in the desert entrance areas, not on a floating piece of rock above the mudlands

Just found you, 'cos Trailmakers' content... I don't do speedruns, so I don't know whether you care about getting the gold as well. I'm having difficulty finding all the gold, do you know where I can look to check where there might be gold I've missed?
The big power core was hard to center on the flyer, and I constantly spun in my previous attempts. The ground vehicle was easier to control. Also, it's a lot easier to pick up the 2 smaller cores as I approach drop zone. It's probably possible to do it faster with a modified flyer. That's something to explore in the future.

22 hours in game time... I SPENT 32 DAYS IN GAME TIME.. It was so enlightening watching some of the stuff you did compared to my noobish run!
Your first run was fun to watch, this on the other hand is a fairly good record that will stand for quite a bit longer.

Have you tried using the UFO glitch for flying faster? With that said This was still insanely fast.
Getting the parts and assembling the machine would add more time than it’s worth.

Y didn’t you use the gimbal flyer on the mud
