- It is with sincere tears that I share that my mother, Nonna Pina, passed away peacefully at home on November 9, 2022 surrounded by her 4 children, grandchildren and all that loved her.
This channel will continue to produce her recipes as we strive to keep her legacy alive and thriving!

I opened tiktok today. Was going for more recipes to try from Nonna. I had no idea. She was such a wonderful lady, she just cared, you could tell by the things she did, said and cooked. I’m going to continue trying her recipes. RIP Nonna….and thank you.

I'm really sorry to hear about Nonna Pina. May she Rest In Peace. Thank you for the various videos. They bring back thousands of memories! If I'm not mistaken, she and your family come from Pachino in Sicily. That's exactly where my family comes from!! Please continue with the videos as much as you can. I just love thinking back to the various delious foods that my nonna used to make!!
I am so sorry for your loss. I just found this channel tonight while searching for a cuccidati recipe. I then saw the beef stew recipe. Of course I never met her but she will be living on through complete strangers as we attempt to cook like she did. I'll think of her and your family when I try both recipes. I believe she will be smiling down on what you all have done for her by documenting her work.
My sincerest condolences on the passing of Nonna Pina. When I would watch your mom it was like watching one of my own aunts. We're from Pachino and when I felt the need for some comfort food I would watch your mom cook and then make the recipe. Your mom brought me much happiness yo all of us. I just watched video where they went to gravesite of late husband and gravestone already there for Pia said born 1937 same as husband? and I thought I recently watched video where she said she was 86?
1939 for husband 1944 for wife , he died at 72 , she 78
