I love the serious and funny sides of Gintama. Neither could possibly be the same without the other. Only Gintama could be so random, silly, and hilarious and still have me crying later. There is no serious Gintama or funny Gintama. There is only Gintama. And it is one of the sweetest, most genuine things I have ever seen. Through aliens and samurai and who-the-heck-knows-what-else, Gintama brings out a special and very real dude of the human heart.

Japanese don't care for the term, and prefer to use MAD(as its an odd combination, almost as if your mad). They can range from music videos to insane cross over vids. Personally, I see this as a bit of both. But it was still freaking awesome.

Gintama is the no.1 anime, i dont understand why naruto and bleach and others come before it. Gintama has everything, action, comedy, excellent cast of characters, it is just 10/10 perfect anime :)
@FrizzbaY well, the series starts getting epic on 58 and from there on it gets better. this arc is my favorite one, but there are other arcs that are as good as this one, this one (yoshiwara arc) is the one with the most accion and great story.
@rikuman1 this AMV is around episode 140-147 or something, But then again, this anime isn't realy based on ACTION alone..it has a huge amount of comedy episodes. Kick ass battles once in a while, but it's still worth the watch.
