Very cool stuff! Using Google Sheets changed my approach to running non-Roll20 games. I actually use it for Roll20 games to have a single page with all the PC stats on one tab and then mob stats on another.
It's super simple to use like that but I've been surprised with how 'advanced' I can get. Apparently, you can do dropdown menus too but I haven't perfected that yet, lol
Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Nice use of formulas to have shared info on screen sheet and player sheets so that everyone can just have one sheet showing during play. For custom games where players make their own characters, have you used multiple files so that each player only sees the intro sheet and their sheet? Or have you tried this and it has some pain points not worth doing? In case you aren't familiar -- referencing a single cell can be done across files and importrange can be used to copy over many rows and columns.
I hadn't tried this because I didn't know it existed... you've leveled me up! Thanks! lol Typically, I like everyone seeing each other's sheets, but the possibilities are now even *more* endless! I did run a game using this setup recently and it went really well, and I've another going on now that uses something similar and there've been no complaints. It's a compromise - I used to use Roll20 but a lot of players struggled with how to roll or, honestly, just the technical issues from the site. So the move to GS was an experiment which is so far proving to be a success. :fingers_crossed:

@@BWS2K Some of the excel sheets in the Cortex hack database have drop-downs and I've used those as reference
@@Ortiz998 Same - I haven't dabbled yet but I have some examples I want to explore soon. Very snazzy!
Is there any way we can get a copy of the sheet you have done. May give us something to start off.
Good call - I'll post a link in the description!
Great video! Can you link the Marvel doc too?
I put a link in the description for some blank ones that might be of help - let me know if that doesn't work. Happy Gaming!
