Unfortunately, you can Not send points to other users. There is something called Microsoft Family where you can send points to members of your family but that feature is currently disabled but may be coming back in the future.
If you win then... Yes, it totally worth it! 😁 But to be honest with you, I have spent well over 300K points on tickets and received nothing so it's definitely not worth it for me but you never know...you might get lucky.
