Adam, there’s nobody better than you that can let people know about things with Walt out here. I was raised here. I live here in Beverly Hills. I’m a passholder I’ve been going since I was seven years old and since 1955 and I just think you do everything with such grace and it’s greatly appreciated. Hope to see you at Oogie boogie 😊
Ok I’m a little bothered by the condition of Disney’s grave. I mean, how much would it take for some grounds keepers from the park to get out there and make it look beautiful? I mean come on. The Disney company needs to get it together. Kind of shameful. Was the renovation sign for Disney’s grave?
I am planning a trip to Anaheim next year for Disneyland 70th anniversary. I am from the UK and it’s going to be my second time visiting California. I have now adjusted my flight so that I am in the area for the 3rd Sunday of July 2025. Thanks for sharing your adventures again, looking forward to visiting myself 👍🏼
Walt Disneys dad is actually Canadian and his grandparents lived like 40 min from my house growing up. I love your videos . So happy you got to come up to Toronto for a few days.
My entire life i've loved trains and anything Walt Disney. Born in 1979 I remember at the age of 4 coming to the realization that Walt already passed many years before. My first comprehension of death. He will always be my #1 historic figure I would have loved to meet. It would be very interesting to see where the company would have gone if he had lived an additional twenty years. Thank you Adam for the insight into these historic locations.
I’ve not heard of Walt’s Barn so thanks for sharing. I saw a video the other day of someone visiting Walt’s grave and I did wonder if you’d filmed visiting his grave in the past (I knew that you probably have, multiple times but I hadn’t come across it yet) so it was great to see it today 😊 I’d love to visit it myself one day. RIEP Walt ♥️ xxx
First trip to LA this past spring. I was so shocked to see the freeway was behind Disney. I guess growing up in Florida the parks are so not close to road ways. I have never heard about the Disney barn. I am now going to go see what Sunday we were in town. Everyday we were scheduled for tours or going to park. I was shocked to see several of the locations I have seen on tv or movies my whole life. I wish you were available to be our tour guide around LA to see all the locations. You are a so knowledgeable. I did try to watch some of your old vlogs of LA before going but when I got there I was just overwhelmed.
Thank you Adam this was a great vlog to watch, really enjoyed it, found out things I had no idea about 🥰 I do think the top Disney executives need to make sure Walt’s grave is in pristine condition tho, very disappointing, they need to upkeep this amazing man’s grave ❤
Next to Gelson's it still a Hyperion Studio bld that hasn't been torn down..The plaque for the studio is on a post I believe next to the street. I saw it a month or two ago..Bob Gurr's bus tour FTW. Adam, you're awesome for keeping this history alive. Great stuff!
Thanks for sharing this Adam. We enjoy a day trip up to Goderich Ont to where the Disney family has their roots in Canada. Checking out Walt's dad's homestead and walking around town centre where Walt got the inspiration for the layout of MK. And visiting the Huron Perth library as they have so much stuff in there about the Disney family ❤
@@TheDailyWoo we do it is a really nice place if you ever want to check it out on your travels up here let us know we would be happy to show you around
I was praying for this video this week. Were coming next week staying at the garland and doing Griffith park the observatory and universal our first trip out west not doing Disneyland. All your Griffith videos inspired our itenerary.
I'm excited to see Walt talking to us while we sit in the very cool AC. Regailing us with stories of fantasy, tomorrow, adventure, and the frontiers of America.
Was hoping for some Woo on the little choo choo. . But overall i guess this train exhibit of Walt's os on my bucket list to go check out .. thanks for the correlative spots Adam.. ❤🎉😊
Love all your videos Adam!!My brother works at Walt’s Barn. Great place to visit. I was able to get on the train and also got to meet Bob Gerr and Floyd Norman. Such wonderful and personable people. Such an experience!
Omg you drove past my house. In Atwater. My kids all went to Marshall high. The Gelsons is where they would go in and get their snack and I would keep telling them that that used to be Disney Studios. You were right around the corner from Walt’s house, by Shakespeare Bridge.
I love this so so much! I paid my respects to Walt when I was in Burbank in fall of 2023, I remembered how you shared once where Walt is buried and how close Russi Taylor and Michael Allwine are to Walt. Very cool.
Hey-O Adam! So glad u got ur car situation figured out. That was a nightmare! Isn't it so nice and extra special when ur plans synch up the way urs did with the day being the 3rd Sunday? I feel like it kinda makes ya feel like all is right with the universe. I have to say that anytime ur in this area (Griffith Park, Hollywood Sign, The Observatory etc.) it's absolutely my favorite content of urs. The only thing that could make these types of trips better would be if ur Mom, Dad, or Faith & Co. Could tag along! I love learning new things about anything Disney, so I thank u, sir, for including me in ur adventures! Have a good day, my friend! ✌️💜✌️💜
When the Studio was on Hyperion Walt and a few employees would take lunch at the nearby Tam O'Shanter. Walt's table is still there with a tiny story memorial. You can still dine at Walt's Table. His drink was a Scotch Mist with Buchanans scotch. Still served.
I was thinking of checking out Walt's Barn this past Sunday, glad I didn't. I remember going years ago and it was not crowded at all. The last hour just a handful of people. I remember Bob Gurr was there and just hanging out with him and sharing his stories and jokes before they closed for the day. I still have to visit the Disney Bros. Garage in Garden Grove.
Adam, really enjoyed your awesome and very interesting video about Walt Disney! Beautiful cemetery and Snow White houses! Looking forward to your next awesome vlog. YOU ROCK DISNEY!!!!
Again, another place that's on my bucket list to visit. I really wanna see those final resting places for so many people. Thanks for showing us this. I know it had been a while since you had gone here.
It makes it easier for me to differentiate between the two cemeteries to refer to the LA location as the Glendale one. There were butterflies flitting around the Disney plot the last time we were there. Very sweet.
Visiting with Huell Howser is on PBS 24/7 and I just watched an episode of him at Griffith Park with the Los Angeles Steamers. Nice that they still do this.
Hello Adam great video..Walt Disney was definitely the icon genius who had a dream and made everything a reality for anyone to come and experience a lifetime of fun and enjoyment..
The first time I went to Walt’s Barn they had one of the mine trains. It was in need of restoration and I hope that it is getting it and will be put on display on the grounds someday.
Well this was a nice fun video today Adam.I live in L A, and I never knew about this.Thats what I like about your videos they are full of surprises. From Universal Jamie.
At the Gelsons on Hyperion, I remember finding a placard in the parking lot somewhere stating that this was the historical site of the Walt Disney Studio. A small sign atop a pole. Easy to miss if you don't know to look for it.
You are correct. The historical marker is on a pole in the sidewalk in front of the Gelsons. Also inside the store is a small photo of the Hyperion studio that informs those who read the sign that the store is now right where the studio was.
Just this weekend I visited Goderich Ontario where Elias Disney lived for a while and attended elementary school there for a few years before the family moved to Missouri. Elis. always had fond memory’s of Goderich and wanted to return for a visit and Walt planned to make the trip with him but Elias passed away before they could so Walt made the trip with his wife in 1947. Walt visited the school Elias attended (now the Huron County Museum)and its said he took the time to draw some of his characters for the children and also visited the first Homestead. A g-g-uncle Robert Disney and his wife Jane Cooke are buried in Goderich’s Maitland cemetery which I also visited and there is a Disney Road nearby so the family left their mark there as well.Aside from his business successes Walt seems to have been a very admirable and caring person.
Personally, I think waltz frozen head is in Woodog’s freezer in Celebration and is only brought out once a year on Snoopy’s/Adam’s/David’s birthday for a dark and unspeakable series of rituals which cannot be explained further on the hallowed and pristine platform known as UA-cam.
Thank you Adam for doing this Disney side track video! Also, have you ever visited Roy O. Disneys grave site? He’s at the same site as Walt, just the other side of park.
I know you like trains as do I, when living in CA we enjoyed visiting Parris, CA (east of Lake Elsinore) Parris is the home of the California State Railway Museum. It's been many years since we visited, but enjoyed it. There are many cars that you can walk through, some inside some outside, there are Funeral Cars, Executive cars, just regular cars..really great, maybe take a trip there since you will be in CA for awhile.
I believe Hollywood Graveyard was just at that cemetery doing a special on the graves of Disney. They mostly work at Hollywood Forever cemetery in LA. They’ve been helping identify ashes of people lost in the storage rooms of the three crypts that were forgotten about. They rediscovered the original actor who played Santa in the original adaptation of Miracle on 34th street which was a win as he was thought lost forever, he was given a proper burial a few weeks later. You should talk to Authur Dark about it. The channel is on UA-cam.
Been watching you for years and we were finally at the same places at the same time. We went to the Carolwood Barn on Sunday, got some King Taco and over to Forest Lawn. Sorry we didn't run into you.
Adam, there is a 10 x 12 black and white picture of the studio taken across the street half way up the hill behind what is now Trader Joes. The picture is on the wall in front of the cashiers. The last time I saw it was about 3 or 4 yrs ago.
Kindred spirits dude, haha I DIDNT go into Walts Barn yesterday but I was definitely right next door at LALS! I think my car finally made it into a Woo video? 😂
I heard there’s a line to see Walt’s grave. People are walking up to it to pay their respects and then screaming, “They’re getting rid of The Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer’s Island!”
I was going to go yesterday but i didn’t feel like driving 3 hrs then 3 back, ( I didn’t think ahead enough to make a hotel revs and park revs) but I wanted to see Chris crump, I knew his dad and haven’t seen Chris in along time also to get his book! A lot of my friends were there & to see Gunny! I haven’t seen it that busy either & I go every few months especially when they have events.
Disney Land Train and Main Street came from Henry Ford. Henry has a park in Michigan called Greenfield Village. It's not an amusement Park, but a Park that showcases famous historical buildings made into a town.. The cemetery is Forest Lawn GLENDALE not Los Angeles. Walt is buried directly across from Spencer Tracy. Larry Fine is buried in that building. Michael Jackson, Liz Taylor, Jimmy Stewart, Sammy David Jr, Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable are also all buried there.
Hi there, Adam. I wish Walt Disney could’ve met you. He would love you! He would love how you appreciate him and what he has done and his parks. Too bad we didn’t have a time machine in the DeLorean. You could go back in time and shake Disney’s hand. Thank you for sharing this with us. Blessings…
I suspect the crowd is because many people who went to D23 also decided to visit the barn. If the barn was celebrating 50 years in 1999, then they would be celebrating the 75th this year.
Personally, I think Walt’s frozen head is in Woodog’s freezer in Celebration and is only brought out once a year on Snoopy’s/Adam’s/David’s birthday for a dark and unspeakable series of rituals which cannot be explained further on the hallowed and pristine platform known as UA-cam.
Good show. On the memorialization of the studios on Griffith Park Blvd, It should be along sidewalk on Griffith Park Blvd. I saw it in 1999. It was a plaque on one of the utility or light poles.. You have to look up. It wasn't at eye level and not very conspicuous.
I actually believe that Walt Disney‘s body is frozen in a cryogenic freezer in the backstage of the Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland
I don’t believe that at all
some people believe anything lmao
Isn't he buried where Grimms visited in California last year?@@TheDailyWoo
Walt Disney is buried right where he is buried! 😂
Why are people do strange no one is frozen he is dead n ashes in Glendale Forest Lawn. Get.a grip on reality people

I visited in 2016 and it was in far, far better condition. Agreed, a bit disappointing.
They visit the parks by the millions not his grave
That’s his family’s responsibility, not the parks
