Thank you for watching our LIVE dealer BLACKJACK video at Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas. I travel to Las Vegas at least once per month to play blackjack, and other table games, at the casino. I play basic blackjack strategy for the most part. Although even that varies for some. For example, I always split 4's against a dealer 5 or 6. Some strategy charts say never to split 4's (I totally disagree). Every now and again I will deviate though, like maybe we will get a little crazy and split our 4's against a dealer 4.
Also, please note, when I talk about the "correct" play, please note that I am looking at each hand as a whole in and of itself. I think, generally speaking, this is the mindset of most average basic strategy players. With that said, please note that there could be a "better" play based on card counts and/or shoe composition. BUT, for the purpose of my channel, we are almost (I say almost because sometimes I'll press my bet if I see lots of small cards come out in hopes of seeing some big ones on the next hand.) exclusively looking at each hand and considering only the cards on the table - not the previously played and discarded. 😊👍
My hope is that you will enjoy watching my blackjack play (or as some call it, 21 casino card game) and maybe even learn to play blackjack or even sharpen your skills through watching my big wins and losses. But, hopefully you will see lots of WINNING Blackjack Sessions. Sometimes we will play blackjack with side bets and sometimes without side bets. Sometimes we will play six deck shoes and other times double deck blackjack. We usually play blackjack in Las Vegas but also play in Colorado and Reno. Our intention is to mix it up so it doesn’t get stale. Enjoy!
💰 By the way, I ALWAYS TIP at the very end of our filming day. (During a filming day, I may film anywhere from 4 to 8 videos.) Please do not think that I don’t tip, because I do - very well. I appreciate the dealers spending their time with me and helping me to make these videos. The reason I wait until the very end is so that I have an accurate count of my wins/losses for the day. I tip no matter what - win or loss - but it helps me with my own records.
👉Please remember to gamble responsibly, do not spend more than you can afford to spend on ENTERTAINMENT only (because slot machines are not a way to make money - well, unless you are the casino), and stop when you are no longer having fun.

Doubling on 9 vs a 7 is a mistake. The shoe was negative as well so you got the proper result. You need a very rich shoe in tens and Aces for that play to be right.
everybody's got a thing, like doubling a hard 12 against a 6 or splitting 10's, hers is doubling on a 9 against a 7 lol

Thank you!! I love playing on the table with other but unfortunately, often the casinos will not allow me to do so. I do play on the table with my husband, but usually his work phone is ringing like crazy so he can't stay on the table for very long. During our November trip for my birthday, I definitely plan to get some filming in with others though. I am working on that approval now.
Red Rock has some of the best side bets. You should play them there, I 💜 your channel. Peace...Be and Stay Safe!!!!

If you find yourself staring at the dealers 10 up all the time and your shaking your head because your on the wrong side of the shoe...you have our permission 😆 to get up and find another table.
Sometimes when you play by the book and it's not working IT'S time for minimum bets and a little crazy play for a few hands.
That big card little card with the dealers consistent 10 up gets old quick.
I blame the auto shuffler working overtime 🙄 doesn't give you the out when they hand shuffle.
Might be time to get on the 2 deck tables with better odds?
Red Rock actually does a hand shuffle - no shuffler. I actually have a double deck game coming up. And I just filmed single deck (by accident - lol....I thought I was filming 6 deck and all of a sudden I was like, where are the rest of the cards???) at Atlantis Casino in Reno.

Sorry you had such a bad run but when it gets like that try two hands out for a hand or two To change the cards
I have tried that many times and it doesn't work for me. I know there is another channel who does that and rarely shows losses so it makes it seem like adding and subtracting hands is the key to success, but ultimately, unless someone is counting cards, adding a hand does not increase EV. There have been many simulations that have proved that. But I also think people should do whatever works for them. Heck, I still take my card in and out of a slot machine like it makes a difference. lol.

Not playing 2 hands again when the dealer is consistently beating you is foolish. You would get some of those Aces if your were playing 2 hands!

Omg ten minutes in you said "I'm down $450" and all I thought was "THAT'S IT???" Of course, it got worse from there. That first shoe was a pretty good beat down. As I always say, if you don't win more of your double downs than you lose, you're probably going to have a bad day.... And you were hardly winning ANY of them. 😭

Do dealers stand on soft 17s at every table there or just the high limit tables?
I think it is just in the high limit room but surrender is offered on all 6 deck shoes.
