I did this with the twin ships at the top right of the map just now. They both just stopped moving. Waited long enough for the waves to push one close enough to jump on, by the time I killed the crew the 2nd ship had floated far enough away that it didnt attack me when I got back on the wheel.
I destroyed the ship who's crew I killed and picked up the 10000 reales. A couple seconds later the ship respawned and didnt move or attack me (but it would fire broadside cannons if I got beside it). Destroyed it again and it dropped the reales again.
It just kept respawning and dropping 10000 reales. Easy infinite money glitch.
Did it still count to the total sync even after it reappeared
It really works. You cannot climb. You have to jump on the ship and kill everyone in it. Then back to Jackdaw. Then you can sink them with one shot. easy. I did it a while ago, but I don't know how to respone it back.
I've been try for hours and just can't get it right I'm going insane it's the last achievement I need (excluding multiplayer)
ive tried easily over 20 times and every time the ship is just too far, when it comes for the first ram its like it hits an invisible wall and bounces away from my ship, and ive waited for it to circle back around to come close and its still too far, no matter where i stand the ship always bounces away, any suggestions??
Its kinda hit or miss! The whole process is buggy af! I took me 12 tries to get this right. You can! Remember to let the wheel go just before the cutscene starts!
@@huskygaze I got it to work, I did a little more research and shooting the front of the ship makes it turn towards you, so I tried a couple times shooting the front of the ship, and boom I’m 20k richer.

This trick works for any ship
Doesn't work on Xbox one anymore. The ship doesn't come to you at all. It turns away from you.

When you get the money save by quitting on the menu and load back on
or just do them normally.. the impoluto isn't that hard, so the only legendary that would be worth doing this on are the royal sovereign and fearless.. but then you have to do it twice
the other legendaries are quite doable if you have a maxed jackdaw

@@killerkitten7534 I literally beat all legendaries, except the Royal sovereign and fearless first try without looking anything up about them.
Ok to be fair, impoluto did really jumpscare me by coming over a wave when I was in hun view, so I just saw the giant ram right when it was on top of me xD
Edit: yes I didn have all upgrades, but I don't think you should be doing the legendaries when you don't have all of them

Just do it before cutscene triggers. Timing must be right.
Let go of the wheel once you’re approaching 570-580km

How do you get the glitch to work I tried and it doesn't seem to work anymore
It works! Just when you're about to reach distance of 560-570m release the wheel. It's bit tricky getting into the ship though. Need patience and tries. But you can do it.

the ship doesnt come to you anymore and you cant climb on it from the sea, think they patched it

I can confirm this glitch does not work asbof august 2022 been doing it for an hour an have not hadba single chance at getting on the boat
It work for me I did it half an hour ago, you can't climb, you have to jump from the top
I did it with the ship at the top left on the map
Then it disappeared, can I bring it back again?
@@Al-Dosari502 no once you destroy a legendary ship it will never spawn again
@@geomaster4416 ye I found this out after taking out HMS Prince. Kinda sucks that they don't respawn, maybe with just materials and not money since like that everyone would be very rich
