I have heard that the Golden Tilefish is excellent to eat but I have never tried it. Nice to see the whole clan out there together having fun especially Richard still getting offshore and doing what he loves!😎👍👍
I've eaten it a few times it was very good but hadn't seen one landed. Pretty cool fish. They are sitting on ice Nick says better to let them sit a couple days before cleaning/eating them otherwise they're chewy
Wow, looks like fun. I like all of the detail - what each fish is and the unique features of each (slime included). That golden tile fish is beautiful. Is it called a "tile fish" due to the square shape of the gill plate? I love the overhead shot with Dad on the back relaxing - it is not all catching - but is it all fishing. The deep blue of the water there is stunning to look at. Stay safe you guys. And thanks for taking the time to make these videos - we are not getting out much right now and this is a welcome respite.
Thanks! Not really sure exactly where the name tilefish comes from honestly... But they are such a pretty fish and great to eat. Appreciate you watching and glad we can share our little piece of paradise with you during these troubling times.
Love watching the videos since taking our trip to Bud & Mary’s but who ever edits these could leave out the music during the video when they’re reeling in. It really kills the viewing quality

Awesome video. How far off the bottom do you bring the lead up Sir?
Usually 4 or 5 feet
@@BudnMarysMarina thanks for the response Sir.
I ate a hake and I thought it was really good, like a softer cod.
Nice antibacterial spray scenes
What a cool family
Thanks for watching!
