if I remembered correctly, the rings work by frying central nervous system, so basically you are standing one second and the next you have no brain, nerves and spinal fluids and your body just drops. This is also a way that the chambers for preserving life forms work, everything else is simply rebuilt after the lifeform is revived back... Endless have a shifting body since they can pass through time so they can simply "move" through time for an instant where the ring is fired and can simply appear again after or simply move to the area where the shockwave has already passed. The danger of flood is not in the organic matter, it is in the intelligence it consumes so as long as all the intelligent creatures lack the nervous system (the part that actually makes the flood grow in intelligence regardless if the creature is alive or dead) it is ok... Also, flood is probably the original species and the mantle is probably a dinner bell that keeps the animals nice and calm till it is time to harvest them. It is said that it is not important if the experiences they have are good or bad since both feed the living universe. So, the time before the flood is the time of growth aka good part and the time of harvest is bad...
Good to see you back on Halo content, i understand that it can be difficult to make new videos on Halo lore due to the lore drought we are currently experiencing, so it's nice to get back to it occasionally
In the Halo Encyclopedia in the back of the book it says that the endless are able to control living time which is only capable by the precursors that we know of.
I really hope the endless aren’t the precursors or have much to do with them. I hope either they just don’t have a nervous system (which would mean they can just round up a few humans and use the Halo array with no consequences) or they’re extragalactic. Maybe the reason the forerunners discovered them after the halos went off was because they were trying to inhabit another galaxy. It said that the xalynan thought the forerunners were there to help…. But why would they need help? Ig maybe food but I mean the only things that are worse than the flood are the halos, the unknown and the precursors. Maybe they were trying to warn us of the precursors cycle. Maybe it’s similar to the reapers from mass effect but instead of time it’s galaxy’s
Well from the halo encyclopedia it gives a very small bit of info on the endless or xalanyn. Simply that they are able to control living time and the only other beings capable of this are the precursors. There is probably a connection to the xalanyn and precursors but I don’t think they are the precursors.
thought this was a hiddenxperia vid for a second lol
Haha, we use the same amazing thumbnail designer😊
I just hope the endless and xalanyn aren’t the same thing.
Love your stuff!!!
The flood is easily related to the endless the parallels r all there plus the harbinger says the same lines as the gravemind plus the endless can bend time and shape shift the precursor r the only ones who can do that they r definitely related plus the harbinger looks exactly like the precursor ai abadon
The Halo encyclopedia only says they can control living time not shape shift. That’s the only connection to the precursors other than the harbinger quoting the Gravemind which is the Primordail. I do agree that Abadon looks similar to her as well as a guardian.
@noncreativeusername2940 they r definitely connected and some books that came out recently hint to them being precursor in orgin the endless r definitely part of the precursor
Great Video!
Will you make the story of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden?
Maybe, although it didn't get a brilliant reception....
The flood is not a sepsis it is a parasite
The books lore is so good.
Thoughts of Halo TV show s2 videos????
As a separate timeline goes, I don’t mind it. But just knowing what Halo should be, I can’t really get on board with it…
What's that sound
Why isn't anyone talking about the primals. time itself does not apply to them because they were before it
*Primordials
