You put the mods in zip format into the folder in the directory of steam "steamapps/common/Enter the Gungeon/Mods". all custom characters into "../Enter the Gungeon/CustomCharacterdata". Start the game. Done. If youre talking about the installation, you download an .exe, select the location of Gungeon and youre good to go, its not different to any other installation. What exactly was the problem so far within the installation? If you google for it you might find the main site of it modthegungeondoteu and modworkshopdotnet/game/enter-the-gungeon

Glad to see Fightsabre made it into the BANGER SUPREME category... Really strong gun with an even stronger gimmick. It's essentially a ranged Casey with a more consistent enemy bullet ricochet ability. It doesn't have infinite ammo, but Fightsaber is still quite ammo efficient. Overall just a really fun OP gun that requires the user to still be actively playing in order to get the full benefits. I honestly like it more than the Finished Gun or even Gunther for that reason. This video was a blast to watch! Thanks for taking such a large portion of time out of your day in order to make such an entertaining video!
42 hours and 22 minutes of gameplay later, and I finally conquered Dragun. I’m now realizing this is only the beginning of an even steeper difficulty curve 😅 thanks for these guides

Not at all, its a slow shooting shotgun with only 4 projectiles and one of which travels too quickly and has too much pushback so the leaves never hit even if you did get lucky enough for one of them to go where you're aiming
The Quad Laser in Okay Tier? Surely, you are incorrect. No one can defeat the Quad Laser. The bullets are enormous! There is no escaping! Jumping...is useless.
Hey for anyone that also hates Klobbe, I found out it has a hidden synergy with cog of battle, where reloading will cause a portion of the magazine to have 10× bullet damage and 0 accuracy. The portion of the magazine to receive this bonus depends on how much ammo was left in the magazine when it was reloaded. it also takes affect with the klobbering time synergy, allowing a max potential of about 220 dps, and that's before we add any damage modifiers. For reference, the High Dragunfire has a DPS of around 50 and the Vulcan Cannon has a DPS of 100.

nick h it doesn’t scale well with bullet modifiers of any kind. E.t.c. If you have hot lead everyshot in crossbow will be on fire, and rarely any shot of cactus will be on fire.

I keep getting about 20 minutes in and then listening to it in the background while playing games. Today I'm finally gonna sit down and watch this and the item tier list in their entirety.
I recently used Gunther. I got him in the first chamber, then simply never stopped using him. Every other gun I had was fed to the Gun Muncher or sold to the Sell Creep, because absolutely nothing else could compete with Gunther. I only kept one gun around to reveal secret walls.
@@nicjoy4407 it really is terrible. if you dont get flak bullets or the nail synergy its a nearly useless weapon because if you wanna use it you need to forcefully change your playstyle.
It’s situational, in my opinion. Sometimes the best weapon in the game, especially if you save the Bullet Kong’s Chancellor, but most of the time it will get you hit.
I only just recently started it due to EG's free release of Enter the Gungeon, but I was surprised in how effective the Scrambler was as a gun, definitely one that I misjudged just by its initial description
4:59 very interesting thing that’s not listed in the wiki is that the digging feature is to my knowledge the only way to get items other then rainbow chest in rainbow runs witch makes it way more useful in rainbow runs
41:46 I've always been of the opinion that the Regular Shotgun is the best gun you can get from a brown chest. Especially when I think of the Sawed-Off Shotgun, because that thing... I really, _really_ don't like the sawed off.
In my opinion the sawed off is an absolutely pointless gun mainly because it's like why use that when you can use the regular shotgun which does basically the same thing but better

Especially when I'm playing gunslinger - _it doesn't even have synergies_ It struggles against basic-tier enemies in even floor 1, it's got huge spread and a tiny amount of projectiles, and compared to even the Regular Shotgun, good luck at getting a good amount of projectiles on an enemy.
@@fluffywolfo3663I agree, and to add more insult to injury, the bullets of the sawed off don't travel as far as the bullets of the regular shotgun. Usually, when I play as convict, I always drop the sawed off as picking up any other gun makes it obsolete and to be honest obsolete is the best way I can summarize the sawed of.
I got a run where Mahoguny got a lot of bullet upgrades (Stout, Homing, Scattershot, Charming and Irradiated Lead). And it was the weapon that made me reach the Forge for the first time, so that gun has a special place in my ammonomicon. But without the bullet upgrades/synergies, it is really a not okay gun.
Finally catching up on my backlog of Reto videos, glad I can reliably just listen to this while I work, which is honestly something that I do with your normal "podcasts" anyway
It turns out that this Enter The Gungeon game may or may not have a lot of weapons. I really appreciate you doing this all in one video to have a definite list of EVERYTHING. The real 4head strats would have been uploading a video of each tier before this one to capitalize on that sweet sweet ad revenue.
Luxin cannon is by far my favorite gun. I've played so many hours of gungeon and almost every time I've had luxin in the run, I've won the run. Amazing ammo capacity, good to great damage per shot, amazing shot speed and that's not even including the synergies which make it so much more.
I personally absolutely adore the Hegemony Carbine, especially with the synergy Ruby Carbine that gives it the fire shots. Its not a very good gun, but its incredibly reliable and a low tier so you find it often. Just like the description, mass produced yet reliable. Also Old Goldie is probz one of the best guns in the game.

Mahoguny with Decoy and Metronome was how I got my first win the other day so I'm slightly inclined to disagree but I think Metronome build up was the biggest part of the win tbh.
Honestly the JK-47s debuff is insane versus certain enemies or if you need to create space. Its a gaurunteed disrupt of charge up attacks and AOE, even if the actual bullets arent fantastic. Id say its good over not good.

The pea shooter is a banger supremem because if you're at the lich and have no ammo on literally any other ammo and you lost your starting weapon in a pit it gives you the only way to defeat the lich

Vouching for starpew/trashcannon synergy. I was able to kill the 3 phases of the lich on the first time I even got to level 6. You basically wind up with 2 extremely high damage guns with great ammo economy, trashcannon winds up with great range accuracy and damage.
To the people asking about the wind gunner, 1. It is not in the ammonomicon 2. It is only able to be used temporarily unless you use exploits 3. You would already know where it goes, top of bs
Once i got a run where Windgunner's condition was using an active item, and my active was the box so it was practically 100% uptime. It was so broken lmao
If you have even one effect that increases the gun's homing then it stacking with the Corsair innate vague homing is absolutely hilarious. The bullets will just not leave them alone. :)
Dark Marker is a huge carry gun, I have won every run without taking damage after I pick up the Dark Marker. It's basically free blanks forever, it's crazy.
I went on a fresh save file for fun and got the letter r gun with explosive rounds. That shit is BUSTED. I beat the dragun only taking three hits which is crazy since I didn't expect to reach the forge in the first place. It melts everything.
My only 2 cents real change to this list would be the Heroine and Megahand higher. My reason is definitely ammo economy but also dmg. I believe the Heroine would be higher because I believe (if not mistaken) it can one shot the floating Gunknights in Floor 4. which to me to have a one shot gun for 4 floors of clearing is busted. Edit: Did they get nerfed or did everything else get buffed or both? I saw a comment on it, so maybe I'm out of the loop...
After having seen you decimate the gungeon countless times since the 1st EP of this series with the Vulcan cannon, I'm surprised you placed it so low. Fight saber is more understandable because to my knowledge you haven't really gotten it that often in this playlist, so its easy to see why it didn't seem to have impressed you too much; Personally tho, it feels insanely strong. The reload lasts a perfect amount of time to make good use of the reflection mechanic while not being too much of a slog -- and on top of that, the amount of time you have to reflect bullets back at enemies is on a downright jesus-tier level of forgiving. You can basically walk into bullets up to a second after your reload ends (the animation, at least) , and it will still reflect them. So the big mushy boys, any enemy that shoots a lot of projectiles in a smaller clump, enemies with attacks that stretch far vertically can usually be killed by reloading and walking through the attack left behind before walking back out of the direct vicinity without having to worry about it any more. Oh yeah, and the reload animation & sprite is sick to look at and very satisfying overall. The gun also synergizes very well with bullet modifiers like shock rounds, magic bullets, rocket powered bullets, any accuracy upgrade. It's one of my favorite guns to use in rainbow mode, although the biggest issue i would say is the ammo economy, so while you mostly don't have to worry about it, the occasional time where you get 0 ammo drops and maybe got bad luck with lots of globulin rooms wasting bullets, you may have to purchase it... If you're clever, though, you may have noticed a method to turn this gun into one of the most ammo efficient guns in the game. The reflection that your reload animation causes does not have (as far as i know) any cap to the amount of bullets total it can actually affect. And they aren't any weak ass devolved arrowkin pillow strike, the reflected bullets keep modifiers like speed and I believe jammed status for bullets reflected back to a jammed enemy. Anyways, what I'm getting at is that you can just tap the fire button once each time between strategically reloading to be on some Aikido type shit and use your enemy's power against them, but this time it's actually real and really strong! It's so fast and responsive when it comes to the reloading animation, that there is hardly ANY downtime between your periods of 'pseudo-invulnerability', leading to especially easy bossfights - where you (generally) only need to focus on the singular boss enemy (and/or any sparse adds that may join in) and master rounds, you can much more reliably time your reloads when you don't have to worry about multiple enemies from different directions and often off-camera. Rather than just spam clicking to better utilize the mechanic, bosses were super fun to get down the timing on how to fully send the big blobulon's self-portrait bouncy balls (this sounds so stupid idk how to describe it more coherently I'm sure there is tho) back at him, or to remain safe thru any of the old king's long lasting clumped up attacks. One of my favorite And the most satisfying things I love doing with it is completely ignoring the dragons final phase curtain of bullets by tap firing and reloading to cut from safe space to safe space without having to stress at all about timing or angling my rolls, ending up directly in front of the heart when it was over to more easily 1cycle it, it's just feels insanely good lol. Personally! Of course. And I am sure many people may have differing opinions or examples to share and I welcome them.
I got this game for free on epic games when people started to say it's similar to Nuclear Throne, a game i have over 800 hours currently, even though i absolutely hate literally every single enemy, every boss, every A.I., every mechanic, and literally everything, (i'm addicted, don't judge me) but still haven't played (guess what i was playing) so yeah, apparently my brain thinks it's a good idea to play this game for the first time after watching a weapon guide. Nice. the game better be good enough to cure my addiction to Nuclear Throne by giving me a bigger addiction to itself, because this seems to have a lot of potential :D
I was waiting for Casey as I am a Casey acolyte myself and then when DIS MAN actually moved it to be judged last I just stared and told myself, I’d be scamming Retromation if I just skipped to the end so I continued. I feel very comfortable where Casey stands and I agree with everything but I think due to how common it is I think it belongs above Glass cannon, also you didn’t mention any positives about having curse.
The one thing I would say you "messed up on" with the list (I say that in quotation marks because all tier lists are inherently subjective, and so you can't really be wrong on anything, I just think you may have missed this) is with the JK-47. As a stand alone weapon, you placed it perfectly, but the JK's fear effect has an interesting quirk to it. If you swap to a different gun while reloading the JK, all enemies feared by it's effect are feared *permanently*. Thus, the JK is more than likely the most effective pure support weapon in the game. I should also mention I was only sort ir listening during that portion of the video, so if you addressed this and I missed it... sorry.
The bubble gun was a suprise but the the rad gun placement?! If you can consistently get those reloads I guess, but personally ease of use would definitely affect the placement of some of these weapons.
If I made a gun tier list, I would bring synergies into consideration, however I’d rank them between where the base gun ranks and where it ranks with the synergies, and also how accessible the synergies are. If I’m ranking it solely based on my own opinion, they would be ranked pretty much only by their synergies since I literally only play gunslinger 95% of the time, so…praise the nail gun.
Dark marker, not the best gun and understandable to be at good tier. Throw in Antibody and scattershot and it's completely game breaking. The flashing is definitely annoying though. Understandable ranking with a can be completely game breaking side note.
Honestly, the thing I will never understand is how we have so different opinions on Corsair when I mostly agree with you on everything else. I always find it really useful, but hey, it just might be different playstyles making some things more useful and others less useful.

You put the mods in zip format into the folder in the directory of steam "steamapps/common/Enter the Gungeon/Mods". all custom characters into "../Enter the Gungeon/CustomCharacterdata". Start the game. Done. If youre talking about the installation, you download an .exe, select the location of Gungeon and youre good to go, its not different to any other installation. What exactly was the problem so far within the installation? If you google for it you might find the main site of it modthegungeondoteu and modworkshopdotnet/game/enter-the-gungeon

SAME, sunlight javelin and mega hands are amazing for cleaning rooms, is a oneshot for any enemy and have good amout of ammo

I remember when I got both an AK-47 and a JK-47, I thought that I had two AKs and one got sad because I "replaced it".
Glad to see Fightsabre made it into the BANGER SUPREME category... Really strong gun with an even stronger gimmick. It's essentially a ranged Casey with a more consistent enemy bullet ricochet ability. It doesn't have infinite ammo, but Fightsaber is still quite ammo efficient. Overall just a really fun OP gun that requires the user to still be actively playing in order to get the full benefits. I honestly like it more than the Finished Gun or even Gunther for that reason.

Not at all, its a slow shooting shotgun with only 4 projectiles and one of which travels too quickly and has too much pushback so the leaves never hit even if you did get lucky enough for one of them to go where you're aiming
The Quad Laser in Okay Tier? Surely, you are incorrect. No one can defeat the Quad Laser. The bullets are enormous! There is no escaping! Jumping...is useless.

Hey for anyone that also hates Klobbe, I found out it has a hidden synergy with cog of battle, where reloading will cause a portion of the magazine to have 10× bullet damage and 0 accuracy. The portion of the magazine to receive this bonus depends on how much ammo was left in the magazine when it was reloaded. it also takes affect with the klobbering time synergy, allowing a max potential of about 220 dps, and that's before we add any damage modifiers. For reference, the High Dragunfire has a DPS of around 50 and the Vulcan Cannon has a DPS of 100.
My poor boy the cactus is worse than not good. I'm sad.
Why it's actually solid:
High rate of fire scales well with bullet modifiers
Great ammo count and low ammo usage
Incredible synergies with the orange, starpew, and broccoli

nick h it doesn’t scale well with bullet modifiers of any kind. E.t.c. If you have hot lead everyshot in crossbow will be on fire, and rarely any shot of cactus will be on fire.

I keep getting about 20 minutes in and then listening to it in the background while playing games. Today I'm finally gonna sit down and watch this and the item tier list in their entirety.
I recently used Gunther. I got him in the first chamber, then simply never stopped using him. Every other gun I had was fed to the Gun Muncher or sold to the Sell Creep, because absolutely nothing else could compete with Gunther. I only kept one gun around to reveal secret walls.

Yeah, I am a bit of a noobie and have heard a lot of buzz around it, but I think it is absolutely terrible.
@@nicjoy4407 it really is terrible. if you dont get flak bullets or the nail synergy its a nearly useless weapon because if you wanna use it you need to forcefully change your playstyle.
It’s situational, in my opinion. Sometimes the best weapon in the game, especially if you save the Bullet Kong’s Chancellor, but most of the time it will get you hit.
It really is the ultimate meme. I do think it's a fun change of gameplay though. Launching enemies into each other never gets old

I only just recently started it due to EG's free release of Enter the Gungeon, but I was surprised in how effective the Scrambler was as a gun, definitely one that I misjudged just by its initial description

4:59 very interesting thing that’s not listed in the wiki is that the digging feature is to my knowledge the only way to get items other then rainbow chest in rainbow runs witch makes it way more useful in rainbow runs
41:46 I've always been of the opinion that the Regular Shotgun is the best gun you can get from a brown chest. Especially when I think of the Sawed-Off Shotgun, because that thing... I really, _really_ don't like the sawed off.
In my opinion the sawed off is an absolutely pointless gun mainly because it's like why use that when you can use the regular shotgun which does basically the same thing but better

It struggles against basic-tier enemies in even floor 1, it's got huge spread and a tiny amount of projectiles, and compared to even the Regular Shotgun, good luck at getting a good amount of projectiles on an enemy.
@@fluffywolfo3663I agree, and to add more insult to injury, the bullets of the sawed off don't travel as far as the bullets of the regular shotgun. Usually, when I play as convict, I always drop the sawed off as picking up any other gun makes it obsolete and to be honest obsolete is the best way I can summarize the sawed of.
I got a run where Mahoguny got a lot of bullet upgrades (Stout, Homing, Scattershot, Charming and Irradiated Lead). And it was the weapon that made me reach the Forge for the first time, so that gun has a special place in my ammonomicon.
But without the bullet upgrades/synergies, it is really a not okay gun.
Lmao, its like the most hated gun in the game for me.

Luxin cannon is by far my favorite gun. I've played so many hours of gungeon and almost every time I've had luxin in the run, I've won the run. Amazing ammo capacity, good to great damage per shot, amazing shot speed and that's not even including the synergies which make it so much more.

I personally absolutely adore the Hegemony Carbine, especially with the synergy Ruby Carbine that gives it the fire shots. Its not a very good gun, but its incredibly reliable and a low tier so you find it often. Just like the description, mass produced yet reliable. Also Old Goldie is probz one of the best guns in the game.

Mahoguny with Decoy and Metronome was how I got my first win the other day so I'm slightly inclined to disagree but I think Metronome build up was the biggest part of the win tbh.

Honestly the JK-47s debuff is insane versus certain enemies or if you need to create space. Its a gaurunteed disrupt of charge up attacks and AOE, even if the actual bullets arent fantastic. Id say its good over not good.

this was very helpful! i just started playing and one time in a run i got the rad gun and then traded it for money because i thought it was bad... so now i will never make that mistake again which is good.
Tbh a lot of the time I can't be bothered with the active reload, and mostly just save it for bosses, after stacking it 3-4 times first.
im new to gungeon and gotta say, the ac15 is probably my favorite gun rn because i force myself to not get hit with it just so much harder

The pea shooter is a banger supremem because if you're at the lich and have no ammo on literally any other ammo and you lost your starting weapon in a pit it gives you the only way to defeat the lich

Vouching for starpew/trashcannon synergy. I was able to kill the 3 phases of the lich on the first time I even got to level 6. You basically wind up with 2 extremely high damage guns with great ammo economy, trashcannon winds up with great range accuracy and damage.
Wind-up over laser rifle is wild considering the better half of its clip is worse than the laser rifle
Evolver in its Dragon state with Big Boy soloed my entire Pilot Run which… god that build was atrociously powerful.
Skull splitter with snowballets is SOOOO good for room clear
To the people asking about the wind gunner, 1. It is not in the ammonomicon 2. It is only able to be used temporarily unless you use exploits 3. You would already know where it goes, top of bs

If you have even one effect that increases the gun's homing then it stacking with the Corsair innate vague homing is absolutely hilarious. The bullets will just not leave them alone. :)

Dark Marker is a huge carry gun, I have won every run without taking damage after I pick up the Dark Marker. It's basically free blanks forever, it's crazy.

I went on a fresh save file for fun and got the letter r gun with explosive rounds. That shit is BUSTED. I beat the dragun only taking three hits which is crazy since I didn't expect to reach the forge in the first place. It melts everything.

My only 2 cents real change to this list would be the Heroine and Megahand higher. My reason is definitely ammo economy but also dmg. I believe the Heroine would be higher because I believe (if not mistaken) it can one shot the floating Gunknights in Floor 4. which to me to have a one shot gun for 4 floors of clearing is busted. Edit: Did they get nerfed or did everything else get buffed or both? I saw a comment on it, so maybe I'm out of the loop...

After having seen you decimate the gungeon countless times since the 1st EP of this series with the Vulcan cannon, I'm surprised you placed it so low.
Fight saber is more understandable because to my knowledge you haven't really gotten it that often in this playlist, so its easy to see why it didn't seem to have impressed you too much; Personally tho, it feels insanely strong. The reload lasts a perfect amount of time to make good use of the reflection mechanic while not being too much of a slog -- and on top of that, the amount of time you have to reflect bullets back at enemies is on a downright jesus-tier level of forgiving. You can basically walk into bullets up to a second after your reload ends (the animation, at least) , and it will still reflect them. So the big mushy boys, any enemy that shoots a lot of projectiles in a smaller clump, enemies with attacks that stretch far vertically can usually be killed by reloading and walking through the attack left behind before walking back out of the direct vicinity without having to worry about it any more.
Oh yeah, and the reload animation & sprite is sick to look at and very satisfying overall. The gun also synergizes very well with bullet modifiers like shock rounds, magic bullets, rocket powered bullets, any accuracy upgrade. It's one of my favorite guns to use in rainbow mode, although the biggest issue i would say is the ammo economy, so while you mostly don't have to worry about it, the occasional time where you get 0 ammo drops and maybe got bad luck with lots of globulin rooms wasting bullets, you may have to purchase it... If you're clever, though, you may have noticed a method to turn this gun into one of the most ammo efficient guns in the game.
The reflection that your reload animation causes does not have (as far as i know) any cap to the amount of bullets total it can actually affect. And they aren't any weak ass devolved arrowkin pillow strike, the reflected bullets keep modifiers like speed and I believe jammed status for bullets reflected back to a jammed enemy.
Anyways, what I'm getting at is that you can just tap the fire button once each time between strategically reloading to be on some Aikido type shit and use your enemy's power against them, but this time it's actually real and really strong! It's so fast and responsive when it comes to the reloading animation, that there is hardly ANY downtime between your periods of 'pseudo-invulnerability', leading to especially easy bossfights - where you (generally) only need to focus on the singular boss enemy (and/or any sparse adds that may join in) and master rounds, you can much more reliably time your reloads when you don't have to worry about multiple enemies from different directions and often off-camera. Rather than just spam clicking to better utilize the mechanic, bosses were super fun to get down the timing on how to fully send the big blobulon's self-portrait bouncy balls (this sounds so stupid idk how to describe it more coherently I'm sure there is tho) back at him, or to remain safe thru any of the old king's long lasting clumped up attacks. One of my favorite And the most satisfying things I love doing with it is completely ignoring the dragons final phase curtain of bullets by tap firing and reloading to cut from safe space to safe space without having to stress at all about timing or angling my rolls, ending up directly in front of the heart when it was over to more easily 1cycle it, it's just feels insanely good lol.

I got this game for free on epic games when people started to say it's similar to Nuclear Throne, a game i have over 800 hours currently, even though i absolutely hate literally every single enemy, every boss, every A.I., every mechanic, and literally everything, (i'm addicted, don't judge me) but still haven't played (guess what i was playing)
so yeah, apparently my brain thinks it's a good idea to play this game for the first time after watching a weapon guide. Nice. the game better be good enough to cure my addiction to Nuclear Throne by giving me a bigger addiction to itself, because this seems to have a lot of potential :D

I was waiting for Casey as I am a Casey acolyte myself and then when DIS MAN actually moved it to be judged last I just stared and told myself, I’d be scamming Retromation if I just skipped to the end so I continued. I feel very comfortable where Casey stands and I agree with everything but I think due to how common it is I think it belongs above Glass cannon, also you didn’t mention any positives about having curse.
The dark matter won me my first run with the 5 bosses without getting hit... It is too op XD
I love my polaris with the metronome, that is just the best non-synergy combo (well okay klobbe with remote control but still)

The one thing I would say you "messed up on" with the list (I say that in quotation marks because all tier lists are inherently subjective, and so you can't really be wrong on anything, I just think you may have missed this) is with the JK-47. As a stand alone weapon, you placed it perfectly, but the JK's fear effect has an interesting quirk to it. If you swap to a different gun while reloading the JK, all enemies feared by it's effect are feared *permanently*. Thus, the JK is more than likely the most effective pure support weapon in the game. I should also mention I was only sort ir listening during that portion of the video, so if you addressed this and I missed it... sorry.
The bubble gun was a suprise but the the rad gun placement?!
If you can consistently get those reloads I guess, but personally ease of use would definitely affect the placement of some of these weapons.

If I made a gun tier list, I would bring synergies into consideration, however I’d rank them between where the base gun ranks and where it ranks with the synergies, and also how accessible the synergies are. If I’m ranking it solely based on my own opinion, they would be ranked pretty much only by their synergies since I literally only play gunslinger 95% of the time, so…praise the nail gun.
Getting synerguies is random, except for Alien Sidearm, which synergizes with Master Rounds.
Background music is a bit too loud, I found it a bit distracting. Otherwise really nice vid! :)

Honestly, the thing I will never understand is how we have so different opinions on Corsair when I mostly agree with you on everything else. I always find it really useful, but hey, it just might be different playstyles making some things more useful and others less useful.

Idk why, but I adore the sunlight javelin, it has a super high rate of fire and damage, plus it’s also has passive damage after the hit
