If you have no time to watch this whole video here’s the entire lore of the run.
A guy randomly shows up out of no where with a magician’s kit and starts killing stuff. He then decides that even the laws of reality has no bounds on him and tunnels through space and time to find a parallel universe using a black hole spawner.
He then proceeds to make money obsolete to the point it equals nothing and becomes a literal immortal god who proceeds to fly to the moon and and replace it with the sun by sacrificing 100 baby’s.
He then goes to hell and makes another sun with a rock that produces literal shit. He then pulls the normal sun down through the entire world down to the sun in hell and causes a supernova. The end

    Awesome.
You make this a lot more simple than I thought. I remember guides saying you need to visit 7 parallel worlds, and you have to visit enough gold rooms to make your gold count show the infinite symbol. You broke the reroll machines after only visiting 5 worlds and 2 gold rooms. Not having to visit many gold rooms is the best part, because that's the most tedious step of the process IMO. Being able to reroll up to 1600 before you start is nice too.
Also I like the way you pronounce Taikasauva, something pleasant about how that sounds.

@30:58 -- I think there's also an important thing for newer players to realise when they think they know enough and want to win, vs. still exploring.
I say this as a newer player who got my first win this week, just a couple days ago (haven't had a good chance to try and make it two yet!). In that run I realised I had a good start and may actually be able to go for a win, and in that started refocussing decision on that, instead of exploring and tinkering. In runs before that I might do something like take tinker anywhere so I could better experiment with new wands a lot more easily, with no expectation of winning; in the winning run the decisions and mindset had to change from discovery and that's an important thing.

Fun fact! Each stainless armor is, effectively, a 2x multiplier to your HP for as long as you remain stain-free.
So with 15 of them, your HP is effectively 32,768 times higher. At the time you stopped rolling for perks, you had about 7.5 million raw HP, this put your "effective" hp at 245.76 Million! Now DATS a big number!
The effective multiplier from damage reduction also applies to any HP gained from healing, so your healing from circle of vigor (as far as your "effective" HP is concerned) was also 32,768 times higher. With only 14, the multiplier is half, so 15 seems like the sort of "minimum" requirement as long as you have a reasonable source of healing when dealing with an object that literally deals millions of damage.

Dude, thanks for this. All 3 (now 4) of my wins were solely dependent on having a good wand before hiisi base. I started with magic missile digging and decided to press my luck bu going straight to wand mart. Found a nice fast recharge high mana (mawnuh) regen wand with a ton of spitter bolts. It was a literal game changer. At the next HM I got 6 Luminous drills+ping pong and a few black holes (no Greek letters yet, but now unlocked!) so I decided to press my luck and go to a parallel world once I reached the Vault HM. I found Steve/Scott easy to kill considering I could attack through walls, so I decided to break the reroll machines. Then I followed your video and the guide from the wiki. It took 16.5 hours. a month ago I told myself I'd probably never get this done. Boy was I wrong. The only "hard" part was avoiding poly.

To anyone who's doing the sun quest:
If you can't find circle of vigor but still want a % based heal, I recommend using the "deadly heal" spell. It has 20 casts compared to Circle of Vigors 2 casts.
However, you'll need to reduce its dmg to 0, as well as make it be able to hit the player. Piercing + Divide by 2/4/10 are perfect for the job.

I got 99% of the way done with the quest and messed it up - I had the red stun stone and all the essences - but couldn't find a divide by or sea of lava to activate it at the moon, even in parallel worlds.
I read that you could use the Sädekivi (laser beam stone) to activate it - so I got one and brought it to the sun stone on the moon and kicked it to activate it - except I had the essence of earth in my inventory which caused an earth quake - shattering the sun stone and destroying it.
Thankfully I got a better seed a few days later and finally completed the quest, but I was malding when it happened.

Im not sure if it gets addressed but at 45:00, the reason why the wand fires more but doesnt change the speed is because the wand already has a spellcast of 2
That means when it does cast the double, its actually casting 4 spells at once for the spellblock
This also means the probablity for it to hang up and spesifically cast Chainsaw - double - chainsaw - luminous drill | sparkbolt is 1 in 120, better known as there is 119 ways the spell block works and doesnt hang up, and the reason why it doesn't hang up is because you have -.51 seconds recharge time xd

Did the devs expect anyone to be able to discover all of this alone? I tried discovering as much as I could before looking up anything, but the complexity and depth of some of these secrets is bizarre. Are there clues in the game itself that could possibly allow someone to figure this out on their own?
Thanks for making this video! It was a fascinating journey.

There are a lot of clues in the game, but they're also pretty well hidden

I'm pretty sure the devs intended for people to come together and figure it out as a group like we did.

It's supposed to be a "community puzzle" with most enthusiastic players being at the forefront of uncovering all of the secrets. It worked well I think, although there are people that are upset by devs taking this direction.

    • @JimPlaysGames

@@romanlinnik7441 I think the downside is that if you're the kind of player that is used to avoiding spoilers and likes discovering everything by yourself then you're going to miss out on a lot of content. I enjoyed finding some of the secrets myself before I thought I'd found everything and then looked at a map and saw the parallel worlds.

    • @JoannaFalkowska
      @JoannaFalkowska Рік тому +2

@@romanlinnik7441 Yeah personally I'm not happy with this, if you're late to the party then you pretty much can't participate in the discovery part at all, it's either spoilers or nothing because it seems nobody normal can figure this shit out alone. Hugely disappointing, I don't want to follow some boring guides in order to experience the content of the game.

You said in one of your videos you read all your comments, so here goes.
I've seen some videos on this game but man, I watched the entire 33 orb run. Watched the crazy gold run, watched so many others and the no edit stream of consciousness, talking to chat the whole time, it's kinda banger.
And, sometimes information repeats but you never know who's new and doesn't know so never skip that stuff.
And I'ma tell you right now I literally would have purchased the game after your first video but damnit I don't have a computer. So, I'm hoping to get a gaming laptop and after I download TF2 (my one love), I'm getting this. So excited to try wand-building. And you make surviving in your runs look SO EASY.
Watched an old video of Jerma trying the game while talking to his chat and he died over and over. He went in fresh though, that might have contributed.
Anyways. Really excited to get the game, only a matter of time!
One request I have, is I would like to see more fungal shift videos. Those are a blast to watch. Also I was super sad when you lost that alchemist rock in all that midas on whatever video from way back.
Lastly, been depressed lately, and having your videos to watch has been really helpful. Just a calm voice and a cool game, for hours on end. Good stuff. Here's to more vids!

Thanks for the Video. I did it today!
Had to go to ng+ because my essence eaters all where gone except of one. So i made the sun in heaven and moved it to hell to kill the boss with it and to get the achievement to make a regular sun in hell. Then in ng+ i had to make a dark sun in hell and move the heaven sun to it. Took me 10 hours :D

I found that tower with earth on my second time playing Noita. I couldn't get in, so I KNEW there was something awesome in there.
Third time playing I found a pathetic way to dig. A basic luminous drill I think it was?
So I started slowly zapping my way in there. Took ages.
Oh great, the essence just got to work slowly blowing me up. I was so disappoint.
(of course, I had no idea what the essence remover was. I figured it was probably a good idea to destroy it :P )

Just imagine if a new dev joined the team, looked at the code and thought, "Hmm, looks like this perk reroll cost might be able to overflow from being doubled enough times, let me just put in a simple check to stop it increasing once it maxes out".

Fun fact. 2^39=549755813888 aka the last rolling machine number you see.
The next 2^40=1.0995116e+12 this is when the memory overflows.
So you have to reroll 40 times in order to break the pricing.
