I think we all had a little bit of "cool" in us.
And then we had kids. 😁😂🤣
Don't forget that these photos were taken on old-school analogue film cameras; getting a decent picture was a REALLY big deal! And you couldn't check what you'd got till it had been to the developer.
It was depressing to get a reel of either 24 or 36 pictures back (three days later!) and find that every one was blank or blurred or under/over-exposed or otherwise unusable. The moment of magic was gone, and you'd never see it again...
Modern instant fully-automatic digital photography is so easy that it seems almost like cheating. Too bad that people waste the process on meaningless selfies or photos of their restaurant meal instead of on something worth remembering.
Being able to take bunches of photos with a real camera and have them developed and printed? You must be rich.
My dad cycled round Europe and Africa, and hung out with a wild mountain gorilla (we have the photo), whereas I think the only cool thing I’ve done so far is going on a backwards zip wire 10,750 ft up a mountain lol
