I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought he deserved better. It also kills to see how he reacted to Constance's death and how she reacted to him dying. One was actual sadness and grief the other cold and unmoved. Michael deserved so much more
Michael Medeiros . Yes but Michael always had that darkness inside him . We did'nt see it in his final moments but he did bring on the end of the world remember ? There is humanity in him but there is also a very dark side . It's what made the ending so brilliant .
It does suck how he died. He died not understanding why he had such violent urges (as he told Constance soon before his death). But it was the only way to prevent the future to come. I almost felt bad for him, but then I remembered what he became had he lived. I don't think even the purest of people could have helped him....because his (more or less) genetic code was evil...and there was no escaping that.
At the start he was almost two people,There was the innnocent child,And the darkness,We see a few times when the child looks on in horror at what the darkness did,I felt sorry for the child,But the poor sod was doomed from the start to become a monster,
In my mind this ending didn't happen. I'm too invested in Michaels character to see him go like that. I know it's just a show but I resonate with him. Let me explain how. Michael was just a boy, born with a cursed fate to be evil . He desperately tried to fight his demons but in the end they won. I can relate to his fight. There are demons in all of us, but some have more than the other. We all want to be good. We all want to feel cared for. And a lot of us want help from people who care. It's mentally killing me to think about how terribly wrong his ending was. All he needed was guidance. Someone to help him defeat his cursed destiny. I believe that if the powerful good (like the witches) were to have gotten to him first, before the satanists, he could have changed. Michael was just lost, all he ever knew was evil because it was in his gentic code. He tried to fight it. The only good people he had in his life weren't strong enough to up against what was inside of Michael. So everyone just gave up on him, and made him feel like he wasnt worth saving. Then evil found him. They made him feel cared for, which was all he really wanted. That's all he should have ever gotten from the beggining, but from good forces, not the bad. Then he would've been good. At least in the end he was gravitating towards being good and love. So love is where his soul will go when it leaves his body. I'm so sorry Michael. You deserved better in this life. That is why it makes me so sad. In real life, when individuals are mentally messed up, the world just gives up on them. Making them feel alone and lost. And making them become the only thing they've known. Which is being "messed up." That is how society is. They don't care about the weirdos in fact they throw them away in a bag and deem them garbage. Society sucks and art, such as this show, ironically makes more sense than reality does. "Life imitates art"
@Awesome Gambler You label him a villain because you don't look deeper into it. He was born with a curse. Satan used his body as a vessel to bring the end of times. He didn't ask for it. So it wasn't his fault. Didn't you see the murder house episode when Ben told Madison that Michael wanted to be good, desperately. That's because he was trying to fight his inner demon. He was trying to fight his destiny. And you say he would be evil no matter who tried to help him but you have to remember that only powerless beings were trying to help him be good. Constance, Ben they were like the only ones who had him at his most vulnerable state, where he had the potential to change into good, but they didn't provide him with enough help. You know why? Because what's inside Michael is far more powerful than anything Ben and Constance could've handled. That's why they weren't able to help. Then when Cordilia offered to help him, Michael was already persuaded to be on the evil side since she did kill the only people that cared for him. If she would have just gotten to him earlier, before the satanist got to him, he would have been good. If you can't recognize that some people are born into unfair situations where they are suppose to be deemed "evil" but really they are like any being with a heart and soul on this earth who want to feel connected and cared for and who can, with the right guidance, change. And If you never feel sympathy for villains and don't believe that they can change, simply because "that is who they are, and that is who they always will be" then you yourself are a villain and probably the most dangerous one.

The finale killed not only Michael but probably the whole fandom and brought great sadness upon our grieving hearts. He was such a beautiful and amazing character♡

This has been a hard week.. First I cried for Rick Grimes, then Michael Langdon. I think Michael Langdon is similar to Negan.. Both evil by nature but have a soft spot within.

No one is born bad or evil, it's their choices that make them so. Michael wanted to be good, he wanted someone to love and care for him, but in the end, everyone abandoned him (except miss mead). She comforted him and lead him to the dark side, to fulfill his destiny of becoming the antichrist. I think if anyone at all cared for him and didn't give up on him, his path might have been different. #MichaelDeservedBetter
I would've let Michael die but I wouldn't leave him alone. When this scene happened I almost cried, he died alone. I don't condone his evilness, it was his humanity I mourned over in this scene.

It motivated me to finish 5,6,7 and finally the 8th season. I wasn't disappointed. I knew what was going to happen in the end,I anticipated it but it still hurt. Michael may be born bad but he still chose to be good. Yes,he did kill animals,his babysitter and the priest. That's enough to say as unforgivable. But in the erased timeline he desparately wanted to change. He wanted to be cared for. When Constance died,Ben took Michael in. He actually got better. But the thing with Tate happened. It got to the point where he wore that latex suit just to "be his father" and killed a married lesbian couple erasing their souls out of existence. He was mad and heartbroken. He's just misunderstood. If someone actually cared for him (besides Miriam) he wouldn't do any worse. His grandma (Constance) commited suicide (in the erased timeline) and kicked him out of the house (in the new timeline),his father figure (Ben) disowned him,his mother (Vivian) tried to kill him,his mother figure (Miriam) got burned at the stake. He had no one. He was just a confused child. He deserved better. Everyone in here needs to actually watch the season and pay attention. We don't sympathize with him just cause he's attractive,of course we have a reason to feel bad for him. In the new timeline,it's worse. He didn't have Ben nor Miriam. He didn't have anyone at all except for Constance. And she left him to die. Now tell me if that ain't depressing?

This is a beautiful video. This character had me hooked to the show. but I'll be honest, I was relieved when he died (maybe not the way he died, it was a bit anti-climatic). He was just pure evil and he knew what he was doing, esp. after the apocalypse... I couldn't stand that he kept winning against all those witches and killed practically everyone.

Theres a plot hole when he is killed because they go back because of how evil he is and kill him therefore there is no reason to go back and kill him even with the other antichrist it still does not fix this variation of the grandfather paradox. My theory is that in season 9 or 10 Emily and Timothy’s son will resurrect Micheal or have Micheals memories.
Imagine watching this not knowing hes the antichrist so you just think its a nice boy getting brought down at every turn rather than it being what he deserves for constantly killing people and being evil 😂 no but its sad because he had such good character development and you can notice that he really is just lost and looking for guidance because hes a boy trapped in evil and he doesnt want to be like that but he cant help it
Constance didn't want any trouble. If she had taken Michael to the house,the boy would have caused chaos. He is still the Antichrist after all. Constance loathed him because she had to cover up all the murders that Michael had done. And well,she didn't want to do that again. Imagine watching this not knowing hes the antichrist so you just think its a nice boy getting brought down at every turn rather than it being what he deserves for constantly killing people and being evil 😂 no but its sad because he had such good character development and you can notice that he really is just lost and looking for guidance because hes a boy trapped in evil and he doesnt want to be like that but he cant help it

Constance didn't want any trouble. If she had taken Michael to the house,the boy would have caused chaos. He is still the Antichrist after all.
Constance loathed him because she had to cover up all the murders that Michael had done. And well,she didn't want to do that again.
Besides her children are in the house and let's not forget that everyone hates Michael there.

Most idiotic character development imo like I LOVED him and all sides of him but why the hell was the anti Christ so weak? And time travel/hit and run was an easy way out. I cant believe this is how they ended it. I was legit depressed over his death even tho I saw it coming. Beautiful video tho :'(
