😍 I helped start the planning of this trail - with the state Governments help we built Leongatha to Koonwarra. I served as a volunteer for over 20 years. Congratulations to all that have continued that work I believe that the next link to Yarram has been opened in August 2024. Thanks Burra Country for this presentation as I am able to see the progress that has made. The last time I saw Nyora to Loch was by a rail car from Korrumburra
Hi, Yes it's a great achievement. The connection to Yarram is open it is episode 10 in my Great Southern Rail Trail Series. Thanks for watching and commenting, really appreciated. Peter

Hello Peter. I just wanted to say how much I your videos I came over from W.A. in April and did four trails in Victoria Murray to mountains. Great Victorian aeast Gippsland & Great Southern I used public transport to get around hired bikes the Great Southern was my favourite I hired E bikes being 79 is my excuse Keep up the good work. Cheers Mike Thiessen
The Great Southern Rail Trail has just recently been extended from Welshpool to Alberton, so you can do the whole trail to Yarram and/or Port Albert on what was the Terra Rail Trail. I am guessing that you will be able to include this in a future episode. BTW, Nyora was the setting for the ABC TV series 'Something In The Air' about a small town radio station.
Hi. we added the connection from Yarram to Welshpool in our map for the Loch episode. I haven't been all the way down there as yet, but that is the plan. Thanks for the information and feedback, really appreciate it.
Hi, yes, we realised after the upload Id left probably the most obvious part out. It's about 6km. I will be adding this to episode 2 which will be out this coming weekend. Really appreciate the feedback, and thanks for watching.
Hi, Yes there is parking at the end of the Park Area and the street running through the town. I dont think you would have any trouble parking a car near the trail in Nyora.
Hi yes, we are aware of this now and have resolved with later videos. But really appreciate the feedback otherwise we wouldn't have known. Been playing with different audio and mikes. Now have the app to convert single channel into two. Thanks for watching.
Hi, Im working on that. Ive got some new mics and still trying to work things out. But always appreciate the feedback I'll look at why that's not occurring. Peter

@@BurraCountry if you use Audacity to edit your sound you can copy your mono recording and put it on both left and right channels.
thank you,
