Great interview Craig, and great questions! That "Preston Reed live" moment that Andy had was the exact same experience that I did when I first saw Andy live in 2006. I caught Andy at a club in Colorado along with a couple great Canadian players; Antoine Dufour and Erik Turnbull. I went because of a local headliner and favorite, Trace Bundy. Already familiar with Trace's music, I knew somewhat what to expect, but nothing could have prepared me for what I heard that night. I think tickets were less than $15 dollars lol! I was so unprepared to hear the acoustic guitar like that, and was especially taken by Andy and Antoine's music. I left that show inspired like no other show I've ever been to, and will never forget it. Up to that point, I was primarily an electric guitarist, but then sold all of that gear and picked up acoustic exclusively.
That discover led me to loving the genre in general and I've discovered many other greats in the process.

    Hey Craig.
In a interview you referenced a device that keeps a guitar from falling off your lap and I'm trying to find it.
Do you remember what it was called?
I've got the bends real bad😊
