Du Bin may not be lucky to get mother's love since young age, but he is definitely lucky for having not just one or two person but an entire community to show him care and love while growing up, then also got himself a wonderful wife and a pair of kids to complete their family. Continue to do what you're doing and respect your husband's wishes to not appear in your vlogs. What is important is your earnings from China; and the Chinese there respect and honour DuBin's rights to remain private.
As for the rants about Wang ZaoZao's statement about skin tone and hair style, do ignore the rants. He has his rights to his taste for beauty. Some prefer fair skin, straight hair, fuller mouth , round eyes etc. I am sure you have seen the video before it was aired and know fully well the conversation that took place. No one is brainwashing your son behind your back. As the saying goes, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Many of the *black* Hollywood A-listers think straight brown hair, light skin, high cheek bones, a narrower nasal bridge is beautiful. They pay millions to change their appearance to look more Caucasian. Well, your haters should preach to these people to embrace their God given hair, face and colour. They should celebrate their heritage and stop setting a bad example for the millions of fans that idolise them.
As for your kids, you continue to discipline them the African and Chinese way. Some say you show unfairness and is tougher on DouDou compared to FeiEr. Well Dou Dou is older, more playful, often not at home. FeiEr is younger, more homely, and will always do what DouDou does. In other words you are tougher on DouDou because he should set a good example for FeiEr to follow. He was very sick the last time with several doses of injections. His nose was still runny according to my observation and you are right, he shouldn't be playing with ice in the bucket. A robust 5 yo boy can be more than a handful compared to a 2+ homely girl. I want to talk about something that will add to my dislike, but it needs to be said. I've read countless times over and over that Felista's husband Du Bin was ran away from appearing in Feili's videos because of trash-talking fans commenting on his appearance and how he doesn't deserve Felista. So those commenters won, and Du Bin stopped appearing in the videos to support his wife and children. Now fans ask on every video, who is her husband and where is he? Why do they ask that when they know fans ran him away?
Well, I did a comparison between the two channels with similar content, Country Wife Felista vs Rose & Anzai Country Life, and discovered to my amazement that both of these African beauties in China started their YT channel about the same time, only 2 months apart. Rose in June 2022, and Felista in August 2022. Since then Rose's channel has exploded with 374,000 subscribers, while Feili's subscribers peters at 95,000 over the same period of time. This is from the point they posted the first video, not when they opened the channel.
Now, as a writer and researcher I ask myself why is this, when Feili's content is so much better? Why is Rose beating the snot out of Felista with subscribers and views? And I think I know the answer, and I'm willing to bet many of you know too for why Felista's channel is barely gaining traction with better content. The same goes for their Chinese accounts. Rose has over 14 million fans, while Felista is only at 4.5 million.
Now here's something more interesting. Due to popular demand, Xiao Liu and Lawu started their own channel in China 2 weeks ago, and as of this writing they stand at 313,000+ fans, and at this rate they will be at half a million fans by the end of the week. That's astonishing!
WHOA, WHOA stop the presses! Xiao Liu just posted that he took Lawu to a prenatal check up and the baby is at 22 weeks! It's so cute how they hold hands everywhere they go, and it's so sweet the way he held her for the blood draw because she doesn't like needles. God, I love them so much!
Anyway, reply if you would like to discuss how we might be able to help Felista gain the traffic she so deserves, or if you're interested in reading what I think the problem is.

It’s a good comparison, between Rose and Feili. I was attracted to Rose videos at the beginning because she was kind of doing a cooking demonstration. Feili videos came later. Now I enjoy more Feili’s videos because I found Rose getting too commercial. I think Rose’ videos attracted people because now the husband involved a lot more giving her support.
Feili’s husband doesn’t to participate and that is fine because we need to respect his wish. So from the angle of attraction, perhaps Feili needs to talk about the dishes she is making. Rose has more confidence but Feili has cute kids especially the daughter. To grow the number of fans, start telling stories of the country. Give us the background of the place. Stories to build on growing vegetables and what season they are good for. Show us again the place where chickens are kept. All these are interesting to city people and people outside China.
