Puthiya Thalaimurai TV (Tamil: புதிய தலைமுறை டிவி) is a 24x7 live news channel in Tamil launched on August 24, 2011. Govt can easily implement 3 things:
1. Build multistorey 2-wheeler parking lots everywhere. People will park their 2-wheelers there and take public transport.
2. Allow private buses and vans to run in addition to govt buses. People who can afford it will pay extra (their employers will also reimburse), and govt buses will get freed up.
3. Give police protection to bike taxi workers from autorickshaw thugs who threaten them.

Bangalore has more number of vehicle total 1.20cr vehicle as of March 2024 85 lakh two wheelers, 22 lakh four wheelers white board registered, metro is not going to help the traffic is suitable only within the city not for longer routes atleast 8000 mtc buses should be present in chennai as of now but bus stand change going to create more traffic congestion

Butt road before nandambakkam trade center converges to a single lane creating a massive bottleneck. Instead of building flyover in Teynampet, govt should first clear these choke points. Please do comment about other choke points in chennai below.
To take survey y ppl travel.provide hostels for it guys in campus.ask retd to get out of chennai to villages.give incentives..no more offices..it in chennai. Shift to tanjore.. Pollachi..manaparai..trichy region..

Government has to request Private Organizations to allow Work From Home / Hybrid model working style wherever it is possible. This will definitely reduce the traffic congestion in the city and allows some sort of people need not to stay permanently in Chennai for work.
Have you heard the name Bangalore, From Attibele to KR Puram it took me more than 4.5 hrs to reach just 36kms, May be its my bad luck that day. But you can have a try and confirm 😂
I know from kr puram railway station to silk board 21km it takes more than 2hrs to reach due to bumper to bumper cars traffic in outer ring road 😑 😀
Govt offices should be shifted to places outside Chennai Private companies also to such places people migrate to chenni to work and earn So chennai traffic will be over and uncontrollable for.a long period More crowd over population will have most traffi Greter chenni may expnd toTrichy and then Kanyakumari Tamil Nadu one day may become Chennai
Stop immigration from other states.
