THIS STORY:
Arriving in Brownsville Vermont here to visit the graves of two iconic actors; Charles Bronson and Jill Ireland. Then onward - next to the grave of actor Claude Rains in Moultonborough, New Hampshire.
Charles Bronson, who passed away on August 30, 2003, was born "Charles Dennis Buchinsky". Charles was an actor who was often cast in roles of police officers, gunfighters, or vigilantes in revenge-oriented plot lines. He had long-term collaborations with film directors Michael Winner and J. Lee Thompson and appeared in 15 films with his second wife, Jill Ireland. At the height of his fame in the early 1970s, he was the world's No. 1 box office attraction, commanding $1 million per film.
Jill Dorothy Ireland, who passed away on May 18, 1990, was a famous English actress and singer.
Born in London, Ireland was the daughter of a wine importer. She began acting in the mid-1950s.

THIS LOCATION:
Brownsville Vermont derives its name from two settlers, John and Briant Brown. The West Windsor Historical Society is in Brownsville and has a wealth of information on the sheep farms and industries that sustained the early residents. Slightly south and west of Brownsville is the 656-acre Little Ascutney Wildlife Management Area, a state owned conservation area hosting wildlife such as white-tailed deer, fisher, coyotes, bobcats, beaver and otter.

I hope to visit the beautiful State of Vermont one day. Charles Bronson was a very gifted and talented actor, my favourite of all time. Thank you so much for creating this wonderful tribute video to a legend. RIP Charles Branson and Jill Ireland.❤️💖🙏🏻
@user-ro3jn4vp7v Really? How degenerate of you.
My Father died 5 weeks ago.
He was 88 years and 4 months old, and outlived my Mother by over 24 years, he never re married, and lived alone, but always, always missed her...... Terribly. They were married for over 40 years.
He had quite a long drawn out debilitating passing, and looking back, not once did he complain, he was deaf, almost blind, and suffered with a form of delirium, which caused him to see many horrible things, in his last 18 months.
He was my hero.
l am him, in so many, many ways.
And by sheer coincidence, he had the very same reading at his funeral.
l do not think anyone may know this.
I choose to believe in those words.
And l shall see my Mother and Father once more, when it is time, until then, l shall live by those words.
Sorry for your loss 🌼
I’m so very sorry for the loss of your dad. It took me a very long time to be able to keep going on after the loss of my mom about 11 years ago. Actually it was 6 years before I could actually learn to live again. It’s very difficult for me to handle death. She took a piece of my heart with her. I wish better for you and others dealing with the death of a loved one.
@@glendalangley1877 hugs for you 🤗

Aww. That’s so kind of you to say. Thank you so much. I love hugs and I graciously give one back to you. 🤗
I feel so sad for you, and your dad who obviously suffered greatly. So very sorry.
Bronson deserved so much more from Hollywood... He was a awesome actor.
Wow an actor with his stature and buried in a country cemetery. He was always humble not vain like a lot of his fellow actors. This is a charming cemetery and well maintained
Hi there.. how are you doing? Hope you are fine and staying safe?
@@jacksonlow7470 sorry I typed to you by mistake
I'm pretty sure this cemetery was featured in Let's Scare Jessica to Death. LOL, no way. That was New York
Beautiful resting place for a defender of freedom, a father, and actor.
Charlie’s Bronson was one of the best actors of our time a true legend as well …✌️✌️🤟👊
That's a true Fact he was real DEATH WISH the original ass kicker
A real interesting video . Charles Bronson was a legend . I loved his films.
The inscription on Charles Bronson's grave stone has existed for a while. I found a copy on an oversized greeting card back in the 80's. Some of the wording gets changed around but it's basically the same beautiful poem.
My husband & I used to watch all of Charles Bronson’s movies. Great actor.
May Charles & Jill RIP 🥀
Hi there.. how are you doing? Hope you are fine and staying safe?
My first movie that I saw with Charles Bronson was "The Mechanic" loved him after that. I have also seen and loved all those war movies, use to watch them with my Dad.
That was a good one.....
Me too!!!

Charlie was bad news 😢
He was a great actor. One my top ten favorites. Movies with him were and still are interesting to watch.
When Charles Bronson playing a tough guy, he was not acting, he really was a tough guy!.
I like Death Wish and also The White Buffalo Ten to Midnight
Amen .
And long before that, a simpleton, Igor, in The House of Wax from 1953, starring Vincent Price as the villain (what else?) and it was released in 3-D. Bronson was superb in that role as well, perhaps his first?
He was a SCORPIO.
Damn Right!!
LOL, he was one of a kind, will never forget him!
I loved Charles Bronson in the movie "The Great Escape" him and Steve McQueen, and Richard Attenborough were great in that movie, as well as many other great actors..Thank you so much for sharing Ron..😃
Yes I remembered him in that too. 👍☺️
Yeah, the great escape is great movie.
Danny the Tunnel King 🤠🙏
Beautiful area. Rest in peace Charles. My favorite movie of yours was Once Upon a Time in the West. Quiet chivalry.
Had a huge crush on Charles Bronson. I though he was so handsome. I am loving your Vermont video's Ron. My mother in law lives there and it is so beautiful there! Rest in Peace Charles and Jill.
He was born in Pennsylvania of Lithuanian heritage but we Poles claim him as one of "ours" too. A great and very underrated actor. R.I.P. to him and his beautiful bride who predeceased him from cancer, Jill Ireland, too.
Yes, his voice was unique and very distinctive.
Most of the actors who starred in "THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE" were veterans of WWII and yes some were in the "BofB" too.
Yes, he was born in the next town over from where I grew up. A little town called Ehrenfeld, PA was where he was born. His name at that point was Charles Dennis Buchinsky. He graduated from South Fork High School in 1940. My uncle Herbert Shrift was one of his classmates.
Sorry, but the photograph won't paste to the names.

Hi Ron, and everyone here. I liked Charles Bronson and his movies but I liked Jill Ireland just as much. Thank you for featuring them.

I loved the death wish movies. I had the movie posters hanging in my room.
Hello to u too..ty n u have a great day as well 🤗
Charlie!
He always was my favorite actor and I'm probably in the minority but I loved him in Mr. Majestic.
Jill Ireland was a gorgeous talented woman. Very underestimated as to both.
Beautiful grave stone! And truly a peaceful resting site, the red barn is just incredible! Thanks as always Ron!
When I was little, I saw an old Twilight Zone rerun with Charles Bronson and Elizabeth Montgomery and crushed hard. The Great Escape and The Mechanic ❤️ Thank you so much!
Ahhhhhhh yes... The Mechanic... I think this was my favorite (but loved everything he did.) RIP Chazbo!
And Mr. Majestyk..💝💐
The Twilight Zone Episode took place in the Future , after a Nuclear War , where the Cities were Empty of People , Bronson was a Soldier from the Future , he and Elizabeth Montgomery were the only Humans left alive , but the Buildings were still intact, I remember that Episode
I like the motorcycle chasing scene in the Mechanic. I think the motorcycles were Husqvarna.
I remember there was a TV series where he starred as a photographer detective named Kovac.

Charles Bronson is my favourite Star ⭐⭐ and Big salute 🙏🙏
Bronson was born in Enranfeld, PA. Jull was cremated and the ashes were put in a hollow walking cane, He had the cane buried with him. Rhey had bought a farm in Vermont, he loved it there.
Hi there.. how are you doing? Hope you are fine and staying safe?
I’ve heard stories about how when Jill played Spock’s love interest in the Star Trek episode This Side Of Paradise, some people were a little concerned that Charles might beat up Leonard Nimoy if he got too lovey dovey with Jill. Charles had a commanding screen presence and was one of my family’s favorite actors. Beautiful grave, may he RIP.
lol I like how you said IF they got too lovey dovey.... But anyway liked the post. Good day.
Hollyweird plays different than us usual folks. They all play in the same sandbox!
Well. she did like to sleep around. He would know.
Wonder how their children would think since they both in the same school same time!!!
Rode on the school bus with Suzanne Bronson, lived two streets from Spock.
Are you kidding, Spock would've easily put Bronson down by giving him the Vulcan neck pinch.
Oh my gosh! You listed ALL of the movies I love -- Dirty Dozen, Kelly's Heroes, etc. Thanks for the great video. Loved Charles Bronson and so many of his movies.
Jill's funeral was something special. She insisted upon a party. No black crepe for her. She was a classy lady. She and her husband were very much in love.
What a gorgeous tomb..
Yes some of us know Claude Raines love that actor as well.. ty Ron..
When I was much younger about 35 years ago I was a part time bar tender at the Thousand Oaks Country club in which Charles Bronson was a member. I saw him several times as he finished a round a golf but he never came into the bar area so I never directly met him. You might be surprised at how short he really was. Seemed like a nice guy just shunned the limelight.
Charles Bronson was a very unique individual whose personality Presents Mystique which permeated his presents in the films he made.
She is there ;
In 1990, Ireland died of breast cancer at her home in Malibu, California.[5] She was cremated and her ashes were placed in a cane which Charles Bronson had buried with him at Brownsville Cemetery[6] when he died in 2003.[7]
Hi there.. how are you doing? Hope you are fine and staying safe?????
As a kid, I was a night owl. I used to stay up with my dad and grandpa watching the old movies., westerns, war and macho tough guys ! Loved them. Ty for bringing back the memories.

I liked Charles Bronson and Jill Ireland, and Claude Rains too. They were all great actors. I really liked Charles Bronson in Mr. Majestyk, Hard Times (With Jill Ireland co-star), The Great Escape, Death Hunt. I liked Claude Rains in Casablanca, and The Invisible Man, and The Wolf Man, and Phantom of the Opera. May they all Rest In Peace.
Mr Majestic was our theme movie in high school for those of us with Ford pickups.
if Charles Bronson had been cast on Star Trek he probably would have been a Klingon of course that never happened but Jill Ireland did appear in season 1 this side of paradise.
Love this man even in death not to mention his wife.
He so made sure that she gets parts in his movies
It's like as long as he's making a living she gonna make a living too so kind and given and awesome 👌.
RIP SIR AND UR WIFE AS WELL MISSED U BOTH.
THANK U BOTH FOR ALL THEM YEARS OF ENTERTAINMENT..
I remember him as a kid in the 50s....he mostly played Indians and was rugged and gruff. Later on in his career his acting got better and better and he also was better looking :) I loved his movies and loved that fact that he treasured Jill and cared for her to the end. It crushed him. She died at 54 and he at 81 so there was an age difference. I feel that being loved by her softened him. We are all a product of our early years and that really never leaves us. Nice to see where he is now.
Real and true love always will soften even the hardest of hearts of most. There’s always an exception to that of course. If you’ve truly got an evil heart then I doubt even love can totally find its way. Here’s to hoping we can all bring more love into a hardened and selfish world.
I p
What makes you think that he was callous? People who knew him before fame in the cinema and after say that he was a sensitive, kind and selfless person.

"Charles Dennis Buchinsky"
👍🏼🙂👍🏼
Stage name of Bronson was given by Steve McQueen ~
He was also in a katherine Hepburn and Spencer tracy movie, playing a gangster under his real name.
The name Bronson given to him by Steve McQueen? Not what I heard. I read somewhere he was sat in his car at some traffic lights when he turned to look up at the street name/sign. It said BRONSON STREET. So he decided to use that name from that moment onwards.
