    THIS STORY:
Arriving in Brownsville Vermont here to visit the graves of two iconic actors; Charles Bronson and Jill Ireland. Then onward - next to the grave of actor Claude Rains in Moultonborough, New Hampshire.
Charles Bronson, who passed away on August 30, 2003, was born "Charles Dennis Buchinsky". Charles was an actor who was often cast in roles of police officers, gunfighters, or vigilantes in revenge-oriented plot lines. He had long-term collaborations with film directors Michael Winner and J. Lee Thompson and appeared in 15 films with his second wife, Jill Ireland. At the height of his fame in the early 1970s, he was the world's No. 1 box office attraction, commanding $1 million per film.
Jill Dorothy Ireland, who passed away on May 18, 1990, was a famous English actress and singer.
Born in London, Ireland was the daughter of a wine importer. She began acting in the mid-1950s.

    THIS LOCATION:
Brownsville Vermont derives its name from two settlers, John and Briant Brown. The West Windsor Historical Society is in Brownsville and has a wealth of information on the sheep farms and industries that sustained the early residents. Slightly south and west of Brownsville is the 656-acre Little Ascutney Wildlife Management Area, a state owned conservation area hosting wildlife such as white-tailed deer, fisher, coyotes, bobcats, beaver and otter.

    _________________________________________________________
The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
    Some are famous.
    And some infamous....
    ....and some with tragic endings.

My Father died 5 weeks ago.
He was 88 years and 4 months old, and outlived my Mother by over 24 years, he never re married, and lived alone, but always, always missed her...... Terribly. They were married for over 40 years.
He had quite a long drawn out debilitating passing, and looking back, not once did he complain, he was deaf, almost blind, and suffered with a form of delirium, which caused him to see many horrible things, in his last 18 months.
    He was my hero.
l am him, in so many, many ways.
And by sheer coincidence, he had the very same reading at his funeral.
l do not think anyone may know this.
I choose to believe in those words.
And l shall see my Mother and Father once more, when it is time, until then, l shall live by those words.

I’m so very sorry for the loss of your dad. It took me a very long time to be able to keep going on after the loss of my mom about 11 years ago. Actually it was 6 years before I could actually learn to live again. It’s very difficult for me to handle death. She took a piece of my heart with her. I wish better for you and others dealing with the death of a loved one.

He was born in Pennsylvania of Lithuanian heritage but we Poles claim him as one of "ours" too. A great and very underrated actor. R.I.P. to him and his beautiful bride who predeceased him from cancer, Jill Ireland, too.
Yes, his voice was unique and very distinctive.

I remember him as a kid in the 50s....he mostly played Indians and was rugged and gruff. Later on in his career his acting got better and better and he also was better looking :) I loved his movies and loved that fact that he treasured Jill and cared for her to the end. It crushed him. She died at 54 and he at 81 so there was an age difference. I feel that being loved by her softened him. We are all a product of our early years and that really never leaves us. Nice to see where he is now.

Real and true love always will soften even the hardest of hearts of most. There’s always an exception to that of course. If you’ve truly got an evil heart then I doubt even love can totally find its way. Here’s to hoping we can all bring more love into a hardened and selfish world.
