It's been like a week max since I've gotten all P-Ranks as Mr. Stick in Chef's Kiss, (I just made a new save and edited the save file myself so I had Mr. Stick off the bat) and of course, You Know You Want It! is perfect. It's exactly what the original boss theme concept is, but as an escape theme! It isn't too Pizza Time-ey, nor is it Distasteful Anchovi, but it HAS that feeling that Distasteful Anchovi wanted to give you, the "Alright, I've played these stages before, but now I'm a brand spankin' new character and the only thing CAPABLE of stopping me is not knowing the moveset." Pizza Time is like, "DEAR LORD A TIMER'S STARTED I GOTTA BLITZ OUTTA HERE!!!", but it's not entirely JUST anxiety. Yeah, you gotta skedaddle outta there, but it's giving the tone of "Dip, but feel awesome while doing it." The Death that I Deservioli is like "FUCK YOU, DEATH! IF YOU WANT ME, YOU'RE GONNA HAVE'TA CATCH ME FIRST!". You're literally dancing on the line of life and death. It's either you NAIL that P-Rank/S-Rank, or die trying because you were in over your head. And as you read, I already explained Distasteful Anchovi. How, ever. Death of a Salesman? Y'know how World Wide Noise was immediately hit with nothing but praise upon being released? It was rightfully deserved! The song had the feeling of "HAHAHAAHAHA I'M FUCKING UNSTOPPABLE I'M THE NOISE BABY!!!!!!!", 'Cause you're a downright OP character going through stages you've seen many a time before. The song is practically telling you "fuck it we ball" via giving you all the caveman brain stimulation you need to not feel worried at all! It's just pure "Yea, we out here.". Death of a Salesman is no different. Mr. Stick (I would argue,) is the most vanilla feeling character out of EVERY playable character in Chef's Kiss. Not much had to be changed except a few secrets. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) And this. fucking. song. Is like Mr. Stick's WWN. I'm somebody who's already 101%'ed the game twice over! Once for Peppino, once for Noise. I know Pizza Tower damn well! Picking up Mr. Stick and seeing that he controls EXACTLY like how the Scoutdigo leaks looked? 𝙊𝙝, 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙤 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣. I already knew You Know You Want It! was gonna be his escape theme, that was a given. But this song, like I said, is Mr. Stick's World Wide Noise, but cranked up to x3. WWN hit you with the "This is going in my drunk driving playlist" type of mood. THIS? THIS GOD FORSAKEN SONG?! "This is going in my gambling playlist". For Mr. Stick being built like a stick, this song makes you feel like a damn brick wall! It just DRIVES you to GET. PAID. All you wanna do is get as much money as possible, get that P/S-Rank, and get out with 𝑺𝒕𝒚𝒍𝒆. The best way I can describe how this song makes you feel is by bringing in a whole different character, MX. Yeah, the dude from Mario '85? This song makes you feel like him! It makes you feel like an unstoppable force, that may as well be an immoveable object! I play Pillar Chase 2, and everybody and their cat knows that MX is in that game, I bet you 5 whole bones that if you took MX gameplay, and put this song over it, it would be extremely fitting. tl;dr I really like this song and needed to go on an autistic rant because it wont get out of my head. I’m late to the party. But I need to describe how this song makes me feel. Comparing the lap 2 themes to completing a 2 month school project. The Death That I Deservoli is like starting the project with 30 minutes left, and whether you bleed, cry, or burn, you won’t let yourself fail. You’re a common person facing an insurmountable task, and you’ll never look back. World Wide Noise is like starting the project with 30 minutes left, but you don’t care, you are currently a God among men. While the project is an impossible challenge, nothing is a challenge to you. The whole world is either cheering you on, or praying for your failure, and you’re giving both sides a memorable show. Death of a Salesman is like starting with 10 minutes. The task is undeniably impossible, the cards aren’t just stacked against you, you don’t have any cards. But you feel great. Exhilarated even. It’s still stressful of course, but you’ll work as you always have, but now you’re high on life. The pressure, instead of causing dread, gives this euphoric feeling, which gives you the possibility to pull through. You shouldn’t succeed, but that thought isn’t in your head right now, only the passion and energy that is coursing through your body. If that wasn’t able to articulate my thoughts well enough then Death of a Salesman is like being high on cocaine and racing Usain Bolt.
The theme of fucking up Bloodsauce because i accidentally bumped into the same wall tile causing me to fly when i didn't want to because i missed a single big coin.
