What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. Even after Piggy fell off, I will always be grateful to Minitoon for letting the story end and for not extending it for the sake of fame. Also, unlike many games nowadays, it wasn't a cash grab. It just had one game pass, after all, and he was also incredibly friendly and engaged in the community. Probably one of the nicest and best developers for those reasons.

@ThatOneRBLXKid piggy hunt was more of a way to do something with the codes with the toys. Minitoon basically had no control over the game.

When I heard that there was going to be no more chapters it hit me hard like a truck. I spend days playing it and almost crying when zizzy was left like bunny. Every once and a while I watch old videos of people reacting to the new chapters for the old memories.

I know that piggy is over but I still have questions. What happened to Willow's brother. What happened to m.r p? The insolence. There's a lot of questions left unanswered but I really love this game. It's now a part of my childhood and I would never forget the happy memories I've shared playing this game

I'm absolutely obsessed with this game. I still play it a lot. It's my favorite. I see why some people could have quit after Book 2 was released. But at the same time, I don't. The story of each chapter was definitely worth the wait, the characters were so much more fleshed out, and the amount of mysteries that STILL remain to this day is amazing.
I miss the old days when the piggy community was super popular and everybody played it, was good while it lasted.

Piggy was the reason I played Roblox again since I lost two of my accounts. I heard about this game called “Piggy”, and I made an account. I started playing in 2020 in the pandemic but I quit Piggy when it reached Book 2 since I couldn’t beat the first three chapters. This was the time I lost another account, but that account was mainly for Piggy and I keep remembering. I tried to replay the entire Piggy story in 2021-2022 on my channel, and still am but not quite how much I used to do it. Piggy was literally the head start of my Roblox playing in the pandemic. I had a lot of fun and it’s just sad to see the Piggy game ending, but it don’t last forever. Sure, we will have Intercity but I don’t really care about that as it isn’t like Piggy anymore. This reminded of data issues . I remember back then Mr P was like a nightmare mode dark souls boss fight for me . And the players are apart of the bossfight AND WHEN I GOT IT . WOW DATA GONE . and the sad thing as that i tried getting it again . AND IT DOESN’T EVEN WORK .

Just because the game has fallen in overall player count doesn't mean that it has "fallen off." The players that still do play it are dedicated to the game, and there are 100s of fan art posted to Twitter every week. Just because it looks like the community has fallen in player, doesn't mean it has fallen. The peek was 500k because it was in the limelight at the time after the award it received

the game itself isnt dead the community is, the game still averages around 20k which is pretty good for a roblox game that gets no updates, i'd say the game would be dead if they had 2k or less players
The thing is, the thing that kept people going was the hype about the new chapters and lore etc. Once book 2 chapter 12 came out and the Hidden Ending was found there was nothing left to do in the game. If Minitoon continued to work on it, it'd still be alive. It didnt really die though.
Listen its better. Because he already knows this game was gonna die . If you think about it . New players wouldn’t like this game so whats the point . Thats why minitoon made a whole new game . Whole different idea . So we can get new players on the game

I feel like people stopped playing it because it’s just getting old. I got into piggy roughly around chapter 7, and I was really hyped for the second book at the time. The first two chapters of a work exciting, but it just got old after the fourth or fifth one and most people just stopped playing it because I got old but like me.

(by the way, the lost book is "book 3" if you wanna call it that. it used to be a fangame but its now a canon game with minitoon helping. it takes place during book 1 though, so, take that as you will)

I remember watching the full 6 hours of Kreek's stream for Piggy Book 2 Chapter 12. I thought back to first playing the game when there were only 4 chapters in the game. :( R.I.P Piggy
Piggy is like Napoleon. Weird comparison but it makes sense. Once very strong. Getting many awards and breaking record. Even after it started to fall, it was still winning awards. But slowly, the game started gaining less popularity. At the end, Minitoon tried very hard but unfortunately failed to bring Piggy back to its former glory. This story is very similar to the story of Napoleon.
the release date of book 1 chapter 12 was probably one of the best days of my life, because it was my birthday, and i was (and still am) loving piggy and it was overall just amazing.

as a professional piggy speedrunner, i wholeheartedly agree yet i think its mainly just because the original release blew up everywhere and once you got to book 2 the people that only came when it first blew up had long gone and maybe checked out a new chapter once in a while but the people who actually cared about piggy stayed.

I stayed, but I prefer Book 1. It was more fun. In Book 2, Lore completely knocked off gameplay and fun, and even the remaining gameplay was too hard.
@@popkorn6844it seems that I'm the only one who actually likes piggy book 2 more than piggy book 1. In my opinion things started to get interesting from piggy book 2 the only thing that is not so good about it is the hard maps but other than it's really interesting
For me, it was that the Insolence wasn’t an appealing storyline. Piggy started out as a game about human error, but it then turned into a tale of the paranormal that overtook Mr.P’s character arc and errors. It’s not for me. I really enjoyed Willow’s story and wish it would’ve been the main focus. Her Redemption Arc has a similar plot to Mr.P’s; desperate due to the fear of losing someone/actually losing someone and being driven to redeem themselves by confronting their past mistakes. In Mr.P’s case, it was fighting the infected and, in Willow’s, it was trying to save Zizzy. It would’ve been easy to carry over the main feel of Piggy’s storyline into Book 2, but it felt overtaken by the Insolence storyline.
i personally stopped playing after book 2 chapter 1 and only looked at the lore breakdowns as the game got a little to hard for me

I remember I used to play Piggy A LOT. I never really got any of the skins and just stuck with one before changing it once in a while. My main skin for a long time was Dinopiggy until Marley Russell came out. It was a lot of fun playing Piggy and waiting for the new chapters to release, it was good while it lasted.
It was just a game with no story, but as it developed it started getting a story and people only played for that story. Once the story ended or kinda got boring we all left
I am considering myself as an og since I played at piggy around chapter 9, sadly piggy was condemned to the forgotten games hole, even if it haven’t died totally, it will happen sadly.
I wouldn’t say it’s fallen off by much.
I know going from 500k players to Below 80k players a day is a big gap but it’s still quite fun especially if u get all of the badges with your friends it’s very fun to do.
I’m looking forward till Book 3.
Edit:Piggy is returning in may!With Piggy:The lost book so stay ready!Piggy is the best game I have ever played on roblox.I have Nostolgia for it and I remember watching Kreek on may 28th waiting for plant chapter and the game made me start UA-cam and made me continue playing Roblox.Big thanks to minitoon.

also another thing i'd say contributed to piggy's downfall was roblox having a bad year, i think most of us can agree that 2021 was a pretty major step down from 2020 (opening way for the INCREDIBLY MAJOR step down that was 2022)
I'm still glad MiniToon added build mode. So if players ever felt bored, they could just join the servers and find a good map. I've joined a bunch of servers and most of them were really fun!

I used to play piggy so much. I started in April 2020, when it was getting kinda popular on Likee, which I used a lot. I met someone on there and we used to roleplay Piggy together. I was Penny and they were Georgie. Sadly, they left Likee because of their parents and also left the piggy community, probably because it was dying(it was like late 2021 or early 2022, I think.). I still like Piggy to this day, and I really miss when it was popular.

Most people refer to roblox as a “stupid little kids game” and even I do sometimes now that I’m getting older. But looking back, I can’t sometimes help but cry about the memories. I remember the old days (metro,carnival, etc.) when every week me and my friends would be playing and be shocked with a new chapter to play and mess around with. Ever since around B2C6 I kinda just grew away from the game. Book 2 was good at first but then the chapters just kept getting harder and the maps were more complex. Thanks for making this video to take me back through the memories again! ❤️

piggy was doomed from the start but somehow with some bs plot armor became big. Now most people forgot it ever existing. It should stay that way
No hate but this game created a very annoying era where most developers refused to think out of the box. Most games at the time were literally the same thing like Bacon, Guesty, etc.. they had the same mechanics and everything. Every game was just a Piggy reskinned. It ruined the horror genre on Roblox, I can only thank god for The Mimic's extreme rise of popularity for reshaping the genre or else we would still be getting the same ol repetitive story and piggy games.
The Mimic had Piggy inspiration as well (though, it turned out to be a much different game) but either way, it didn't get Roblox horror out of that era.
Piggy clones died when Piggy died, simple as that. Just as how when newer games like Weird Strict Dad dies, its many clones will also die

Piggy build mode being the next roblox studio is basically the last thing ever keeping Piggy peak. And since I’m a new(ish) player I’ll have a lot of fun discovering the newer chapters I haven’t played yet. May Piggy lie in our hearts.
Never gonna forget this game, I played this game for a lot of time but when ready player two ended, I just lose all the motivation playing the game since they added seasons (I quitted since book 2 chapter 4) and came back playing it just for the rb battles event (like ready player 2, I won’t gonna miss this game it had a nice story from a kids show and become very popular, but remember not everything can be the same they are subject to change

I remember joining when metro came out. I was absolutely heart broken when minitoon said the game would stop getting updates. But I probably would've quit anyways. I had a huge amount tokens and every purchasable skin, including tio. It had been quite a journey with piggy...

Playing Piggy when it was in its prime was amazing. Everyone was talking about it, waiting for a new chapter. New characters and a new piece of the story would drop fast. Piggy had a story. It had characters with personalities. It had cutscenes, and fight scenes, and made people emotional. Most games nowadays, lack that now. I stopped playing around Book 2 Chapter 9, around when it fell off or earlier, but came back to finish the chapters I didn’t last year. Minitoon made a great game that many would remember years after. It was fun while it lasted.

Really hope somebody sees this comment cuz Id love to have a discussion about this. But, the fact that Piggy stole Granny's entire concept while using Peppa Pig IP is literally insane to me. It got its own toy line that was separate from ROBLOX toylines and the original developer of Granny didn't get make any merch for granny, i don't even think he put a copyright or anything over it seeing as his entire concept got stolen and popularized. It's insane. I loved playing piggy when it first came out but i couldn't help but notice how it was literally Granny with Peppa Pig characters, even the death sound effect itself is taken from granny,

Ever since I started playing piggy my UA-cam channel was really getting a lot of subscribes but minitoon had announced the last update I was sad so I quit piggy and started play different games on my channel

I stopped play the game was because of the three years that I need to prepare for national exams to graduate, but that three year grow weary on me that I less feel like to play the game, but yes I did stayed there since the factory one , and my favorite character is the poley
I think it would've been worth mentioning how the TLB x Piggy collab is being released soon- Even though Piggy is "dead" (I personally think it's far from dead considering it still manages 10k+ players despite there being no updates for MONTHS, though it is quite far from its prime,) there's still hours upon hours worth of content upcoming in the very near future.
This was just about the main game so that's why I didn't mention it but yea TLB x Piggy should be fun
@@BulletWarning I personally consider the collab as "main game", as it has canon lore and is an extension to the storyline (DerpyDervee said that it's about a new character and how they impacted the events of Book 1 and Book 2, so it's sort of a Book 1.5 that explores the backstory of more characters.)

Sure it's not reaching 100k+ players daily and it's not getting the same hype as before but its still going strong, 3 years after it ended and piggy is still averaging 30-60k daily players which is a lot for a game with little updates
Book 2 was amazing sure it was more complicated but the maps were way more high quality and it was just perfect
Piggy will always hold a special place in my empty heart and I even sold out and bought a memory plushie, shirt, and piggy:infection book
I think that what made people stop playing piggy is how the maps became kinda hard to beat in most public servers especially the true endings
I left after I played Book 2 Chapter 3. Why? Well the game became too complex, hard, and confusing. With only a timer of 10 minutes and Piggy chasing you, I mean it sorta turns hard. Chapter 1, 2, and 3 were great. But it just doesnt feel the same. And I am a huge fan. I am so happy that Minitoon made Piggy and I was very sad to see its decline but, all good things must come to an end. Yes, I do come back for when there are updates, and for build mode but never Book 1 nor 2. Here's why. For book 1, yes its amazing and made me smile even in the dark years of 2020, but I played for too much to the point where its just bores me. I did most of the things that I was aiming for when I first started. 1. To get a good skin like Duocara 2. To surpass 3000 coins 3. To memorize all the maps 4. To get better traps and powers. After I did what I wanted to, I simply didnt want to play Piggy anymore. I come back to it time to time, but it doesnt have the same spark of joy that it used to have. Overall I'm greatful that Minitoon made this game. It was a delight. An amazing journey. But I'ts done now. We'll just wait what Minitoon will make next.
If there was one thing i could do, it’s wishing i played this game more in its prime.

If I had to pick my 3 favorite moments of Piggy’s life, they would be:
-Gap between Book 1 and Book 2(so many theory videos!)
-Spooky Hunt 2020(Release of Mr Stitchy and other iconic Halloween skins)
-Book 2 Hidden Ending(Kreek and Devoun)
I would have put the Book 1 True Ending on there, but it wasn’t that impactful, as it just gave a few answers and it was over fairly quickly. And for people who ask why Spooky Hunt 2020 was there, it’s because I had a lot of fun getting the skins and getting the spookiest skin of that time.

I don't think Piggy is necessarily "dead" because it still has a fair number of players. And plus, Intercity is the continuation of Piggy, so on my eyes, it's still in popularity and will have more players once it comes out!

I have been watching flamingo for a while. I saw his video of when he first played piggy, and I played it and played through every single chapter. I then played a little bit of book 2, I played until chapter 5, until it got kinda boring for me. Then, I rejoined for the events and holiday stuff, and then during the hunt event, I rejoined and started playing again. I don’t play it as much now but I still kinda play it.

I started playing piggy when COVID started and I fell in love when the game I would play it for hours I wanted to get all the skins and my main piggy skin was doggy I favorite chapter was 5 and I loved when mr p came to the game I loved that skin but all I want is piggy book 3 to come man miss 2020 piggy…

I was 12 at the time and was watching Kreek’s livestream from the TV and when it officially came out, my brothers and I FREAKED OUT. We literally screamed when we went on the game and saw that book 2 came out and I remember being super ecstatic. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay for long and I left for a while because my mom wanted me to buy new clothes and when I came back from shopping around 8 p.m I heard that the Piggy hashtag was number 1 trending in the United States. Needless to say, I had quite some memories and this game will always be in my heart ❤️.
Piggy was a great game and will never be forgotten.
Piggy was just a fad I doubt most of its fans will remember it since most of the people who liked it only liked it because it was popular thing to like back then

i miss playing piggy with my bestfriend, i used to roleplay a lot back in 2020 in like those piggy roleplay games and it was so embarrassing but also super fun. piggy played a big role in my childhood LOL and today i'm doing a piggy marathon to remember the good old days where i would draw piggy characters, where i would wake up and ask my bestfriend to play piggy. i honestly just did stop in 2020 December but played a bit in 2021, until like refinery came out. wishing we could go back to 2020
I was one of the people who got the True ending badge when it was very popular. I wanted it to end in the TRUE ending but there was a new Book , Book 2 I rarely played it actually. Im Glad he stopped after book 2 he could've extended it for more money and etc but he didnt so respect for him

The reason Piggy Book 2 left a fall for Piggy was because of how serious it was with this whole "cure" thing. Remember In book 1 where It was just fun and full of hype? Book 2 made It too serious. I remember Book 2 chapter 12 did have a little bit more hype than Piggy Book 1, because Chapter 12 book 2 overall, Lab, was the end of the road for Piggy chapters. Not for updates though. The end of updates did not come until December 2022.
