I used to be really sad about it, but now it feels fine, almost happy that it got canceled actually. It was an amazing story that was told, it didn’t need to have more, it was just one story about a world, and i hope these stories seep over into ninjago’s wyldness
Dude there’s so much about Chima I remember, I actually rewatched most of it and it was just as good as I remembered. First off I remember everyone’s names, (yes even the background characters, I was that interested) Second: The Whole Concept overall aged really well in terms of different races fighting over differences And third: There were so many shorts here on UA-cam that actually add so much to the main show in terms of lore and storytelling Overall if I could get Chima back, I would, although I am really sad that they never made every character into Minifigures (Crunket, Reegal, Wonald and Dom De La Woosh) I’m happy we had at least something
Actually, I'm glad I watched this video. Even though Ninjago will always be my favorite show, chima was not bad at all. I also watched but could not remember a lot from it anymore. This just brings back so much memories.
I remember it fondly, I actually just rewatched the whole series and the intro is amazing. I do think it would've benefitted as a young adult novel series though
There is a fan continuation of chima called "chima heroes" with sets, and an upcoming show. You can find sneak peaks and updates on the Brick O' Media youtube channel if you're interested!
I absolutely loved this show, I was only recently able to watch it all from beginning to end, and I really enjoyed it. The idea from the first season where you didn't really have just two sides going head to head constantly, but instead had all these smaller conflicts where tribes didn't always pick the same side made it certainly unique for a kids show. It wasn't as black and white as "these guys are always the bad guys", and the way some of the conflicts got resolved was also unique. Add to that some of the non-main tribe species that didn't pick sides but still were involved somehow. There aren't that many shows like it. The only thing that I'd say was a bit of a waste were the icebears, they were only introduced at the end, and were almost immediately taken out by the normal bears. I would've loved a bit more story around them. That new ninjago character you mentioned, the one that could be from Chima, could he be from some of those lands that they teased with the final shot of the show? Since there weren't any species like him in the show itself, it could be a species/tribe from events that happened after the show was over.
this show was dope as hell lol, honestly kinda liked how cragger was kinda forced to betray his friend, it made for a very interesting first seaon. also Ravens best faction btw. also squared THAT INTRO SONG HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOATED!!!!! also to the power of 3 HOW DARE YOU DISS SHADOWIND HE WAS AND ALWAYS SHALL BE A BADASS MYSTERY OR NOT!!!!!!! (not to mention I just love how crazy he is)
I’m still someone with a chima story that I’d like to make into a TV reality that would parody a movie trilogy that started in 1993 and finished in 2001 and it would take place after the whole fire vs ice thing
Chima is a floating island actually part of the realm called "The Wyldness!" One of the 16 realms in The Ninjago series. In Dragons Rising, The realms actually merged together.
One other inconsistency was with the passage of time. For season 1 there’s no indication of how long it’s been since the previous episode because it’s established that only one golden Chi is produced once a month
Fun fact: This show was originally a LEGO branding of the 2011 Thundercats reboot, however CN executives thought it 'didn't sell enough toys'(a bad habit they kept since their mistreatment of Courage, Teen Titans, Megas XLR, SymBionic Titan, Young Justice, Beware The Batman, and Green Lantern The Animated Series), so LEGO rebranded their plan from Cartoon Network and thus Chima: the Ninjago "Replacement" was born! Btw, I like the series' intros, cuz they felt anime OP inspired. I have no recollection of Chima mostly, since I only watched it as a wee lass with my twin brother. If Chima got renewed for a fourth season, why not include other regions outside of that floating island?
One major thing i noticed in Laval in the first episode is that he feels very ADHD coded and maybe Cragger could be autistic? Lavals ADHD is constant and realistic witch is why i strongly believe that, as for Cragger i don’t have that much proof of the top of my head but i still feel like there is *something*
"Do I remember Chima" A very funny question indeed. Personally, I don't think Chima got off to a good start. I think the pilot episodes are actually quite weak. That didn't help an already angry ninjago fanbase into transitioning to watching the show. I go over that point in the first episode if my retrospective on Chima.
I actually finished watching it yesterday, season 3 was well... bad in my opinion, too much action and just too much overall. Though season 1 was really good, I enjoyed it a lot! Cragger is definitely my favorite character 💚
Imagine what would happen if all the serpentine tribes from Ninjago suddenly ended up in Chima via some random portals in the outlands. Like if the Chima tribes would be at first overwhelmed by the serpentine's numbers, powers, and strategic cunning. I would call it: "the Chima/serpentine wars"
I liked this more than Ninjago as a kid 💀
same
You got good taste
Lowkey I did too. Chima hit sooo different.
Same too
Same Bro
In season 5 of ninjago, while lloyd and morrow were fighting, they passed through different dimensions, on of which being Chima.
Yes its a reused Scene of one of the First Chima Episodes, they simply switched Razor and eris with Lloyd and morro
Honestly each season got better and better - sad it got cancelled
I used to be really sad about it, but now it feels fine, almost happy that it got canceled actually. It was an amazing story that was told, it didn’t need to have more, it was just one story about a world, and i hope these stories seep over into ninjago’s wyldness

Bro china was the goat after ninjago
Love this show. I really hope they eventually bring it back.
Used to love this show but I barely got to watch it idk why, it was the best
I remember it. Simply though because I saw it more recently than normal.
One of My Childhood Shows I watched. I remembered playing the 3DS game and listening to the opening music over and over!

im still grieving it r.i.p my happy place you will always be in my heart an i grieve you like a passed away family member.
In 3 seasons it achieved much more than Ninjago in 3 seasons. It is the most overhated show I've ever seen
Yeah Chima is better than ninjago
This Show had so much potential. But in the end It just ended up as another forgotten Product in the Lego Machine
I wish chima would come back, they had such cool designs and figures. I even heard they were going to have a angel theme before it was canceled
There is a fan continuation of chima called "chima heroes" with sets, and an upcoming show. You can find sneak peaks and updates on the Brick O' Media youtube channel if you're interested!
I remember this as a fever dream from when i was a kid, i’m honestly shocked it was ever real ngl
It was one of my favorite shows. It may have caused me to be interested in the furry community tho
4:16 I never knew that it was a reused clip with Lloyd and morro replacing the two bird characters.
Man this show was generational as a kid . Still remember when my lion goat got exiled

The Ink flashbacks remind me of the Cutscenes from Destiny 2. More Specifically, When The Witness Was wounded in Battle and Before Salvations Edge
It’s insane how just one small part of the 16 realms had an entire tv show based around it
Thank you for making this video. Such nostalgia honestly with this video

Chima is definetly a show that get's better the longer it goes on, and Lavertus was the best part of it
I’m still someone with a chima story that I’d like to make into a TV reality that would parody a movie trilogy that started in 1993 and finished in 2001 and it would take place after the whole fire vs ice thing

you mean the Second season?!
I personally wanted ninjago to continue, iv even had a few ideas for tribes, chi, etc

This was my childhood for 10 days

Honestly I always braced for when the crocode would switch up again 😂
Officially rewatching chims
Great video, sad we only came across it now. I agree with a lot of things you said about the show and love the way the video was written.
Still my favorite Lego theme
Tbh when i was a kid i loved this show and i thought there was gonna be more flying island above mount kamora that had diff types of chi
Only think I remember abt chima is that one racing mobile game
I loved this show so much, actual peak
I’m not ashamed to say I preferred Chima to Ninjago.
Why isn't the title "do you remember the best lego theme of all time"?
Day alliance: Lions, Eagles, rhinos, Bear
Night alliance: Crocodiles, Ravens, Wolves, Gorillas
