Thank you for the video. This is number two of yours I’ve seen, I like them both. Good luck building your viewership, I will recommend to others if I have a chance. I’ve been dealing with fibromyalgia for three decades and your insights and advice have been pretty spot on!
I'm a 61 yr old man and I believe stress over time will eventually turn to fibro.I catch myself not breathing right and tensed up. Also I have this big thing about feeling emotional or physical pain seeing someone else going through this pain to the point of crying my eyes out.I wonder sometimes if im.normal or not.i can feel their hurt.I had to go on disability 8 yrs ago because of the physical pain I'm in.
@Danny-hv3ln I'm sorry to hear that, Danny. You're a good person with a lot of empathy. It's important to try to observe things without feeling the pain for others. Have you tried going to the gym to help with the fibro?
@theprogressjourney6249 First of all thank you for those kind words.I wouldn't know how to act if I could just let this tension in my mind and my body relax.Just take a deep long breath and let it out but I know it don't work like that. A big impression on me when I was a young kid was getting in the car with my Dad and he would have boxes of food and clothes and if he heard someone was without food and poor, especially if they had kids ,he would make sure they did. That made me look at people in a new way, that there was people who didn't have food to eat and the basic things in life.We were not to far from being poor ourselves but I didn't know it.I had what I needed. When your young and you have never really experienced no one in your household fighting,no drugs and just a " normal " life and you think everyone else is like that and everyone's is good and nice to each other then you start more to socialize with others like starting school and realize right quick what you believed was a lie.And of course being a young person who was the same to everyone and tried to be nice and not start trouble or pick on someone you end up being the one who was different and a easy target. I lost all self confidence and begin hating to be me. I was not a person who was constantly harassed or picked on but my social anxiety kept me from participating in anything.Sports, haning out ,anything.Graduation Day was a sigh of relief. I suppose that's where everything started building up in me.And I kept it there.Adding more and more as time went on.I started having my fist physical pain on my mid 20s and progressed through the yrs till like I said I had to go on disability 8 yrs ago. People don't realize what others hide inside whether emotional or physical pain or both.Im not an ol down and out person andcof course theres good thongs that happen in life to sorta balance it all out i guess. My wife and I will be married 40 yrs next June and raised 3 kids to adult hood ( and seems like I'm still rasing the last one ) and have 5 grandkids so far.Life is both the good and the bad it just how we handel it.
Thank's for taking the time to make this video. This describes me 💯. Thank you,I will try to focus more on what's lovely and a good report. I don't know if JT put you up to this or not. Ok than I appreciate the message. Love n prayers Mary
Whatever we feed grows. The way to treat agoraphobia (fear of everything) is by doing exposure therapy, exposing ourselves to the things that we are afraid of. That's how we heal and get better
I don’t agree. Sometimes we are exposed to dangerous situations and we recognise or instinctively recognise that. So that advice should be within certain constraints
Just don't be afraid or tense, or an overthinker or workaholic, or have insecurities... Oh, ok. It's so simple. Thanks. Why didn't I think of that?! How about don't have a messed up nervous system that all the yoga and kale in the world can't fix? The traits you name are very common, even in people who don't have Fibro. So why don't all people with stress or fear or empathy get it? I confess, I do have a few of the traits you list. I developed them after I came down with Fibro. Chronic, often excruciating, pain will do that to you. We don't give ourselves Fibro. This video says we do & supports everyone who thinks Fibro is all in our heads and/or our own fault. And the "crazy in the head" motions you make are very offensive.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I have no intention of offending anyone. Otherwise, I'd be offending myself as well. I suffered from terrible fibromyalgia in the past, and this is just my way of expressing myself, I'm Brazilian-Italian, and your comment could be considered offensive. I'm not here to offend anyone, I'm sharing what worked for me. I think my experience can help some people, and I have people thanking me every day for my help. I wish I could coach you in person to show the value of my work. Please note that I'm not here to offend anyone. I had problems with anxiety and fibromyalgia, and I know how bad it can be. I'm just here to help.
This is soooo weird when I was young. I use to go to my cousins house on the weekends. This guy name was Philip, had a sister name Phillis and another brother.Mom was a nurse . I don't really know if Phillis n Philip was twins or not. They were light skinned also. Why do you look familiar?
Look I'm trying to figure out why are you looking just like my co-worker. This is really strange. Person told me about the job name was Philip. Hmmmm???

Tension stress etc does play an important part in fybro
True, our minds and our emotions can be a big part of our symptoms

You are so welcome!
Do you think it is a good advise to tell a person which is fearful: don't have fear?😮
