The biggest difference that wins it for the dragster is the fact that you can move frreely and barely feel restrained where as on the kingda you cannot move at all.
Nothing is better than the original! TTD was the first, KK just made it a little taller and added a small hill. The layout of TTD with the sound effects that make you feel like your in a drag car pushes it over the top. The lap bar instead of over shoulder restraints is the icing on the cake. The ride feeling itself is pretty much the same.

Larry Chickola and those guys made the blueprint for Kingda Ka, Intamin helped build it. Kingda ka is a ripoff of Dragster, no original design. Kingda Ka would not exist without Dragster. Intamin doesn't design rides designers do. And Larry the head designer worked for none other than Six Flags
TTD is better in my opinion. On TTD you have a view of the whole cedar point peninsula. KK has a view of some concrete. TTD has better theming and is the original strata-coaster. Oh and TTD has only a seat belt and lap bar as KK has uncomfortable over the shoulder restraints. This is just my honest opinion.
Well I wouldnt say they "copied" because the intamin strata coasters' basic layout is pretty much the same regardless (not counting Formula Rossa). Theres a straight launch followed by a large top hat. Its kind of like a basic model. All I'm saying is the video overexxagerated some of the facts to make it seem that much taller than TTD.

I bet most of you saying ttd is better have not even been on kk. I've ridden kk more times than i can count, because im from the area. me and my friend took a week long trip to cedar point. I was excited to ride ttd because i heard it was better, but it seemed really tame. I know it has better decorations or whatever, and there are not shoulder harnesses, but it seemed so slow in comparison. given the choice between the two, its kk every time.
They are virtually the same, 36 ft. and 8 mph is a hardly noticeable difference on such a large scale. The zero g hill at the end on KK makes it a little better, though.
