For those not knowing why Shadow mostly attacks Tails first. In this movie I am not sure, but on games, he does that as a “defeat the healer first” strategy, as Tails works as Sonic’s backup, meaning that whenever Sonic is at disadvantage Tails can just rescue him and flee, also a crumpled Tails is a massive blow on Sonic’s pride
