Thanks Nyali! I"m glad you tried it out as I was explaining. It really can make a difference as you practice more and more and then learn how to stabilize the breastbone in that down position.
Something I like doing to initiate natural deep breathing is to keep my mouth closed for a few minutes during intense exercise (forces breathing through the nose solely) and taking cold showers (the cold induces a great deep and rapid breathing). I also like incorporating breathing with mindfulness meditation exercises from books like 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels.
Thanks for sharing this Riguana. Both of the methods you mentioned are used to ramp the nervous system up even higher so it then drops down. It depends on a person's history and what results they are looking for to determine which is appropriate for him or her. 🙂
Valuable topic and brilliant explanation!
Enjoyed experimenting as you spoke it through. Felt different than previous practices.
Thank you ❤

@DrAmyNovotny agreed. Used it again in brief afternoon meditation today. Worked a treat. Body felt significantly calmer, more quickly.
Thanks again ❤️
@@nyalimuir4103 That's wonderful to hear you implementing this Nyali! Thanks for sharing how it's working for you. Keep it up!
