To me I love women who have goals and unstoppable, supporting each other not trashing in each other. But yes, one should stay humble whatever you've got wealth not shout out loud like an idiot nouveau rich. i am not a designer and have two little kids. I have a white couch that is used regularly. Scotch guard does wonders. LOL it allcomes right off. One has to choose the right fabric for the couch.
It is a stunning, cozy, light filled apartment. Yes, she should have some little things that reflect her personality, but she's young, in New York, and very status oriented. It might look a bit like a hotel, but I'd be thrilled to live there.

Tho I am extremely jealous of those fuzzy wooly white arm chairs she didn’t mention them but I have seen those at modernlink on Bond St.
